Susceptibility of some microorganisms to biologically active substances isolated from aromatic and medicinal herbs
Susceptibility of Streptococcus agalaetiae and Staphylococcus azreus isolated from milk of cows diseased from clinical and sub clinical mastitis on some biologically active substances isolated from aromatic and medicinal herbs, was investigated. Of five investigated preparations which represent different combinations of polyphenyl compounds which can be found to a greater or to a lower extent in ether oils and the extracts of this plants, we proved a positive antibacterial effect of the different intensity in three of them and in two combinations this effect totally missed. .
