AB - This paper analyzes the problems related to the reconstruction of a semi-mounted
berry harvester into a self-propelled one specified for exploitation on smaller orchards. The
components of the self-propelled machine, their purpose and mutual functional connection are
described in details, which retained the principle of unilateral picking of half the row of bush
berries from its semi-mounted predecessor. Among the most important general design features,
the following stand out in particular: the drive of the harvester working components, which is
achieved by means of appropriate combinations of hydraulic and mechanical power transmissions,
which allows it to be highly adaptable to different working conditions on the terrain, and the
control device, which is designed to maintain the movement of the machine in the direction set
by the driver, without decreasing the safety and passability requirements of the machine itself.
In the technology of berry fruit production in the Republic of Serbia, the harvesting process is
still the basic limiting factor. Manual picking participates as much as 75% in total production
costs. The costs of mechanical harvesting are between 2.05 and 2.27 times lower in comparison
to manual picking, depending on whether the machine is a towed or self-propelled. The paper
also provides a comprehensive analysis of the energy parameters of work for both versions of
the harvester. The results indicate that power losses on rolling and slipping are lower in the
self-propelled version 10 and 40%, respectively, while in the semi-mounted version the power lost
on the climb is 60-70% lower compared to the self-propelled version. As the harvesting process
is still a limiting factor in berry fruit production, in addition to reducing costs by applying
mechanized solutions, one of the goals of the work is the optimization of applied technical
solutions for the same.

AB - In agricultural production, sowing is one of the most important agro-technical
operations that influence the quality of the product and yield. The crops sowing quality, including wheat, depends on properly prepared soil, that is, on the quality of soil cultivation.
However, despite well-executed soil cultivation, satisfactory results cannot always be achieved if
sowing is not done in an appropriate manner. The achieved depth of sowing affects the speed of
sprouting, rooting, resistance of plants to low temperature and drought, intensity of budding,
growth and development, and achieving the highest yield in certain conditions. In unfavorable
agro-technical conditions, and especially in the conditions of dry farming, optimal conditions for
high-quality sowing often cannot be ensured by applying the conventional method. Therefore,
new cultivation and sowing systems are being applied in order to perform high-quality sowing
in time. During the experiment, the influences of the tillage system and sowing method on the
sowing depth and the depth of the formation of the tillering nodes were registered. The results
of two-year study are given, where four methods of tillage were applied, namely conventional
tillage at depths of up to 25 cm and three reduced tillage methods at different depths. Reduced cultivation with a discc harrrow was done at a depths between 8 and 12 cm, and reduced
cultivation with rototiller was done at depths of 5-10 cm and 10-15 cm. During the tests, the
sowing depth and the depths of the tillering nodes were determined by direct measuring of the
knots positions of the analyzed plants. Furthermore, it was verified that depth of the knot
has a significant effect on the resistance of wheat to low temperatures during winter and lack
of moisture during summer droughts. Achieved results enable further optimization of applied
cultivation and sowing systems.

AB - Tillage involves various complex mechanisms of mechanical disturbance of the soil, aimed to advance its physical structure by creating relevant conditions for growing crops Quality regulation of every specific tillage conception is critical for the soil physical parameters. Thus, the main goal of this work was to review approaches to the analysis of the quality of soil cultivation techniques. Relationships have been established between the basic operating parameters of the mechanization applied and the consequent particle size spreading of the soil. Supplementary, statistical indices of the distribution pattern of soil particles, based on higher-order dimensionless statistical parameters were estimated. The observed mass distributions of soil aggregates was the result of extremely complex and superimposed influences of soil type, field conditions, crop structure, equipment used, etc. At this stage, an accurate forecast of the impact of soil tillage techniques on the changes in composition and size distribution of soil aggregates based on mathematical modelling is very difficult. Further research will be continued to include wider range of soil types, agricultural mechanization systems and their operational regimes.

AB - The article is focused on the behaviour of the basic properties of dairy cow's solid manure over the maturation period. The manure was exposed to mechanized aerobic processing by mechanically turning-over. Performed analysis comprehended measurements of mass participation percentages of organic components, mineral matters, H2O, N, P2O5 and K2O, as well as measurements of PH-values during the seven weeks of supervised test period of effective aerobic preparation of the composting material. Through maturation, large growth of averaged mass percentages of nitrogen, phosphorous-pentoxide and potassium-oxide, more than triple in comparison to the initial levels in a fresh solid, has been verified. Following a possible common approach in the scientific and technical practice, an analytical semi-empirical approach was used in describing the changes over the time of manure properties during composting, supported by prototype of the machine Kompomat 1. Combining the analytical theory of diffusion partial differential equations and application of numerical methods to non-linear fitting of the experimental output data, it was verified that all acquired manure parameters follow an identical general exponential law (R2 all properties = 0,906-0,990; RMSEall properties = 0,010-2,544). Clear relationships between the values of basic parameters of solid manure under mechanized aerobic fermentation (y) and composting duration lap time (x) have been established. © 2022, Strojarski Facultet. AB - This paper presents the tests results of three types of hay mowing machines (later in text: mowers), namely a self-propelled oscillatory mower-conditioner and two tractor-mounted mowers with oscillatory and rotary blades, used to mow alfalfa grown under dry land conditions in the region of central Serbia during three seasons in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Although characterized by older design, they are still commonly used at smaller and medium size farms in this region. Therefore, their optimal exploitation parameters are still of large importance for hay quality and production efficiency and sustainability. The exploitation parameters of all three mowers generally increased linearly with higher speeds, having high R2 values (over 0,8), with rare exceptions. The regression coefficients b clearly showed that the self-propelled mower-conditioner achieved maximum increase in production performance (b = 0,3606), compared with the oscillatory (b = 0,1158) and rotary mowers (b = 0,1414). Mower design had a significant (p ≤ 0,001) effect on cutting and chopping losses, production performance, and specific fuel consumption (p ≤ 0,05). The tests confirmed the superiority of the self-propelled mower over the two mowers aggregated with tractors.

AB - One of the technical factors from agricultural nozzles and overall plant protection is droplet diameter, which exclusively depends on working pressure, ISO number and nozzle type. Therefore, this paper was aimed to describe mathematical model for droplet size distribution. Through field exploitation experiment, data was used from three ISO numbers of nozzles (hollow cone 80 015; 02 and 03), two air-assisted sprayers (axial and radial fan) and two permanent crops (vineyard and an apple orchard). Water sensitive papers were used for evaluation of droplet diameters, and digital image analysis with Image J software was used for data processing. Mathematical model through homogenous diffusion equation and simplified differential equation shows that droplet size distribution had exponential function of modelling. Theoretical mathematical model was confirmed in experimental results, where coefficient of determination of exponential regression model for 80 015 nozzles was 0.93 with 5.15 of RMSE. The same coefficient for 80 02 nozzles was 0.96 with 2.88 of RMSE and for 80 03 nozzle R2 was 0.93 with 3.25 of RMSE. In addition, it is proved that droplet diameter depends on operating pressure with very high negative correlation (80 03 nozzles: r = −0.98; 80 02 nozzles: r = −0.97; 80 015 nozzles: r = −0.95). This data will help future researchers in their papers to facilitate and describe similar models for plat protection processes, and all agricultural producers to determine optimal operating pressure which is immensely important in economic, biologic, technical and ecologic aspect.

AB - Large investments, research efforts and time have been allocated till nowadays for innovation of agricultural tractors and machinery, with the primary aim to increase their productivity, reliability, durability, as well as the environmentally friendly, safe and easy usage. Following this general trend, present work is focused on theoretical analysis of the forces acting on the links of the three-point hitch mechanism. The simulation algorithm and computer code have been developed for calculation of draft forces by two methods (following ASAE D497.4 standard and Goryachkin approach), depending on the three point linkage geometry and mouldboard technical characteristics, and calculation of forces acting on lower and upper links of three-point hitch mechanism. Calculated forces values, based on ASAE draft, exposes smaller differences compared to experimental values, while for the Goryachkin method improvement is possible by entering experimental values for soil resistance coefficient k and coefficient of dynamic resistance s, as we did in this study performing measurements on the aggregate comprehending tractor IMT 539 (IMT Belgrade, Serbia) and two furrow moldboard plough PTO 2.25 (OLT, Osijek, Croatia).

AB - This paper presents the fifth part of the serie, which presents the graphic designations, i.e. symbols, of the most of standard components of hydraulic systems according to current international standards (ISO). This work is focused to the symbols for simplified presentation on the hydraulic diagrams of the associated components intended for the storage and conditioning of hydraulic oil, and for the storage of energy delivered to the oil as working fluid by hydraulic pumps. The function of oil storage is provided by appropriate hydraulic tanks and the hydraulic energy is stored by means of oil-hydraulic accumulators. Symbols of components for maintaining hydraulic oil operating parameters within optimum limits are also shown. The components also included in this presentation are specified for: purification (oil-hydraulic filters), heating (preheaters/heaters) and cooling (oil-hydraulic coolers).

AB - The paper presents the three years efficiency results (2011-2013) of the work and ways of harvesting (three types of mowers, with or without spreading the forage) influencing the quality of the forage (the content of crude protein and crude fiber) during the three days drying process. These results indicate that the harvesting method can strongly affect the work efficiency, energy consumption, the forage drying intensity and the quality of forage used for hay and haylage preparation. The best quality of the forage was achieved when a drum rotating mower POTTINGER CAT 185 was used. Negative correlation was found between content of crude protein and the crude fibre content, depending on the type of mower, varying in the range between r= -0.978 and r= -0.882 (POTTINGER CAT 185 r= -0.882 P lt = 0.05 to JF STOLL SB 200 r= -0.978 P lt = 0.001).

AB - The mechanization of a wide variety of production processes and operations in modern primary agricultural production, transport, storage and the accompanying food processing industry can hardly be accomplished without automation. In most cases, production efficiency and environmental sustainability require, among other things, accurate control of the flow of energy within the installations, work machines, devices and mechanisms used. From the point of view of the theory of automatic control and regulation, the elements of the engaged technique: machines, devices and mechanisms represent the objects of control. The controlled routing and optimal delivery of energy to desired management facilities is, as a rule, very rarely uniform, as it must have correctlyaligned timing with the current variable requirements of the production or operation process, which often change quite unpredictably over the time. The required amount of energy can be transferred to consumers in agriculture through the application of appropriate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, as well as with their combinations. All existing kinds of energy transmission systems have certain advantages and disadvantages, with a common requirement for appropriate controls. In the focus of interest of this paper are the graphic symbols of the directional control valves for hydraulic transmission and control, designated as hydraulic directional control valves, or shorter, the hydraulic distributors.
AB - Mehanizacija mnogobrojnih proizvodnih procesa i operacija u savremenoj primarnoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji, transportu, skladištenju i pratećoj prehrambenoj prerađivačkoj industriji teško se može ostvariti bez automatizacije. U najvećem broju slučajeva, proizvodna efikasnost i ekološka održivost zahtevaju, između ostalog, preciznu kontrolu toka energije u okviru primenjenih instalacija, radnih mašina, uređaja i mehanizmima.

abstract = "The mechanization of a wide variety of production processes and operations in modern primary agricultural production, transport, storage and the accompanying food processing industry can hardly be accomplished without automation. In the focus of interest of this paper are the graphic symbols of the directional control valves for hydraulic transmission and control, designated as hydraulic directional control valves, or shorter, the hydraulic distributors., Mehanizacija mnogobrojnih proizvodnih procesa i operacija u savremenoj primarnoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji, transportu, skladištenju i pratećoj prehrambenoj prerađivačkoj industriji teško se može ostvariti bez automatizacije. U najvećem broju slučajeva, proizvodna efikasnost i ekološka održivost zahtevaju, između ostalog, preciznu kontrolu toka energije u okviru primenjenih instalacija, radnih mašina, uređaja i mehanizmima.

AB - Similar to human health, the importance of hydraulics sometimes becomes apparent only in her absence. Images and motives of agricultural workers from the past times and centuries can look attractive only on paintings of arts. In reality, it was a very hard and sometimes quite dangerous job. The introduction of hydraulics in construction of modern farming machines, agriculture is less demanding for all farm workers, but also more efficient, which is of particular importance for providing enough food for the growing world during the 20-th century. Achieving high efficiency, reliability and long service life of these systems requires sophisticated diagnostics and failure repairment, regular maintenance and careful use of each hydraulic system, and this is only possible with a good knowledge of the functional principles of all elements, their connections and the whole system. However, modern hydraulic systems of agricultural machines are often very complicated, and the construction of their components is too complex for detailed graphic representation within the whole corresponding hydraulic installation. Therefore, instead of detailed representation of the components, schematic diagrams are used. This manuscript represents a logical continuation of the first and second parts of the paper, devoted to the general symbols, labels of measuring instruments and indicators (part one), as well as pumps and actuators (part two). The third) part of the paper presents the hydraulic symbols of the system control elements - hydraulic valves. The graphical symbols of these components are defined by ISO standards.
Postizanje visoke efikasnosti, pouzdanosti i dugog radnog veka ovih sistema zahteva naprednu dijagnostika i otklanjanje kvarova, redovno održavanje i pažljivo korišćenje svakog hidrauličkog sistema, a to je moguće samo uz dobro poznavanje funkcionalnih principa svih elemenata, njihovih veza i sistema u celini. Međutim, savremeni hidraulički sistemi poljoprivrednih mašina često su veoma komplikovani, a konstrukcija njihovih komponenata previše kompeksna za detaljno grafičko predstavljanje u sastavu pripadajuće hidrauličke instalacije. Zato, umesto detaljnog predstavljanja komponenata, koriste se odgovarajući šematski dijagrami. Ovaj tekst predstavlja logičan nastavak prvog i drugog dela rada, posvećenih opštim simbolima, oznakama mernih instrumenata i indikatora (prvi deo), kao i pumpama i izvršnim elementima (drugi deo). Treći deo rada prikazuje hidrauličke simbole elemenata za upravljanje - hidrauličke ventile. Grafičke simboličke oznake upravljačkih komponenata su definisane ISO standardima.

AB - Hydraulic power transfer and management systems are widely used in modern agriculture, especially in agricultural engineering and the associated processing industry. They can be very simple, but also extremely complex, when precise matching of the interaction of their components in real time is very difficult to controll and achieve. In addition, the designs of a number of hydraulic components is sufficiently complicated for detailed representation on the corresponding hydraulic installation. In all cases, analyzing the performance characteristics of components and the entire hydraulic system, as well as understanding the structure of the hydraulic system, is of great importance. One of the generally accepted ways to facilitate and speed up these processes is the application of schematic diagrams of hydraulic systems and their subcircuits. Officially, hydraulic symbols are defined by ISO industry standards. Therefore, ideally, all hydraulic schemes should be configured using universal graphic symbols. Unfortunately, this is not always the case in technical practice. Depending on the manufacturer and/or dealer of the hydraulic equipment, the symbols of the associated schemes vary in a smaller or a greater extent. The real reasons for the existence of these differences can only be assumed. According to some authors, companies want their drawings to differ from the hydraulic schema of competitors. Therefore, the most commonly used hydraulic symbols are presented in this paper.
AB - Hidraulički sistemi prenosa snage i upravljanja široko su zastupljeni u savremenoj poljoprivredi, a posebno u poljoprivrednoj tehnici i pratećoj prerađivačkoj industriji. To ipak nije uvek slučaj u tehničkoj praksi.

AB - The paper analyzes the possibility and the needs for the use of specific types of robots (mini unmanned aircraft with different designs and the designation of UAVs) and the possibility of using in agriculture (agrodrone). The year 2015 was proclaimed (Fortune Magazine, 2016) as the year of increasing and widespread use of UAVs in various areas of human activity, especially in agriculture and forestry (75% of use). This is important for large farm areas, where UAV has many useful functions and a very cost-effective commercial application. Today, the needs for UAVs have increased sharply with various opportunities for both civilian and military needs. There is also a significant interest in the development of new drones that can autonomously fly in different environments and locations and can perform various missions and tasks. Over the past decade, a wide range of applications for drones has gained the significance that led to the discovery of various types of unmanned UAVs of different sizes and weights. In this review, the classification of UAVs ranging based on a detailed overview of the development of the drone industry in recent years, this paper demonstrates the evolution of drones and differents application technologies. Of course, this development is very advanced and revolutionary, as well as the development of mobile and smart phones and the Internet, which will open the way for many users to participate in defining the future of UAV implementation. LIVONA Company, Belgrade, Serbia (and Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, in tehnical cooperation) has a study and plans on the implementation of the model micro drone EBee SQ Livona RTK in the future general plans for inspection of protection Soils of territory Minicipality of Stara Pazova (351 km2), and agricultural company Napredak, and exspecially plans for soils of agriculture of R. AB - U radu su analizirane mogućnosti i potrebe upotrebe specifičnih vrsta robota (mini bespilotnih letelica sa različitim dizajnom, o značane kao UAV) i način korištenja u poljoprivredi (agrodron). AB - At present, spreading of mineral fertilizers in Europe is most commonly performed using centrifugal disk spreaders with attached vanes. The motion of an ideal spherical homogeneous fertilizer particle along the straight vane attached to a flat rotating disc was analyzed in this paper. The analysis was performed in the non-inertial reference coordinate system. From the assumptions introduced to enable analytical describing of the real particle motion as well as the general tools of solid mechanics, the ordinary in-homogenous second-order differential equation having constant coefficients arose. Its solution represents an approximation of the real relative motion of the fertilizer particle along the straight radial vane fixed to the flat horizontal disc rotating at a constant angular velocity. However, the solution of this kind can be very useful for the optimization of centrifugal spreader working parameters.

AB - The analysis of the factors that show decisive influence on the tractors stability and the possible overturning, should preventively indicate the possible improvements of the tractor construction, in order to increase the tractor's and operator's safety. The purpose of this paper is to check the static angles of the longitudinal and lateral tractor stability, using the different methods that check the tractor stability up to the to the turnover limit. The process is based on the tractor longitudinal and lateral tilting and measurement of the reference values of the wheels heights with respect to the base. The same angles can be obtained by various analytical and numerical methods based on the Theoretical mechanics. This paper suggests on the importance of empirical data, because they are the basis for further stability analysis of the tractors, other self-propelled agricultural machines.

AB - The paper analyzes the motion of idealized spherical homogeneous fertilizer particle along the straight vane attached to flat rotating disc. The analysis, based on the assumption on the pure rolling of the particle along the vane (without sliding), has been performed in the non-inertial reference coordinate system, which rotates together with the spreader disk. The particle motion along the vane is described by hyperbolic cosine function, which is the solution of the ordinary in-homogenous secondorder differential equation having constant coefficients. Solution of this kind represents an approximation of the real motion of fertilizer particle along the radial vane fixed to horizontal disc rotating at constant angular velocity. However, it can be very useful for optimization of centrifugal spreader design and working parameters, as well as for further analysis of the whole fertilizer spreading process that also includes particle flight.

However, it can be very useful for optimization of centrifugal spreader design and working parameters, as well as for further analysis of the whole fertilizer spreading process that also includes particle flight., U radu je analizirano kretanje idealizovane, loptaste, homogene čestice mineralnog đubriva duž radijalne lopatice postavljene na rotirajućem disku centrifugalnog rasipača đubriva.

AB - Modern agricultural engineering involves the wide application of hydraulic and pneumatic systems for the transmission of power (energy) and control signals. This paper presents the most commonly used types of valves in hydraulic systems. In the literature, more classification of hydraulic valves is reported, according to their construction, purposes, etc., which, even within the same classification criteria, sometimes strongly differ one from the another. Therefore, this presentation is organized by principled valve assignment into four basic groups based on purpose, although there are other divisions according to the purpose of the valve. Other classifications, although present in the available literature, have not been commented in detail, due to space constraints. In this manuscript, the basic elements of the construction of the most important types of valves are described and analyzed, their most important characteristics are described, the base functional principles and technical limitations described, and the given guidelines and recommendations for their optimal application.

AB - The paper presents and analyzes the hydrostatic transmission of power and motion. The most important elements of this group of systems and the possibilities of their application in agricultural technology are given. Particular attention is paid to the positive-displacement pumps that have the widest application in agricultural machinery: gear pumps with external and internal gears, vane pumps, piston-axial pumps with inclined swash plate and piston-axial pumps with inclined cylinder block. Two hydrostatic power transmission and control systems are also presented. The first is a very simple mechanical- hydraulic system of automatic leveling of self-propelled berry fruits harvester. In contrast, the other hydrostatic system is very sophisticated. It is implemented as a very complex combination of hydrostatic and mechanical power transmission subsystems, with the accompanying control digital electronic system, and is intended for the wheat harvester propulsion and steering.

AB - Many filtration systems employing perlite granulations have been designed so far. Size distribution of perlite particles directly influences the retention properties of filter media. The information on the size distribution of perlite particles, used in each specific dead-end filtration process (the flow of fluid being filtered is perpendicular to the surface of filter medium), is crucial for the adequate design of filter medium. In order to facilitate the design of filter systems possessing filter media of this kind, a new and particular mathematical model has been developed for this present study. It is based on an appropriate partial differential equation and additional mathematical conditions, whose solution is an exponential function describing the probability density distribution of perlite particle sizes. The formulated model was experimentally verified by measuring the particle sizes of a perlite granulation using the morphometric method, based on the application of a standard light microscope and digital image analysis software. The fitting procedure of experimental data gave acceptable values of accuracy parameters - high R-square factor (R-2 = 0,905) and small value of the root-mean square error (MSE = 0,490).

AB - Proper protection and quality work of sprayer enable the optimization of the pesticide application and reduces the harmful effects on the environment and human health. The efficiency of the implemented protection is reflected in several aspects, and one of the most important is the quality of the work of sprayers, that is, the equality of pesticides distribution with nozzles. The paper presents an analysis and comparison of test results in the framework of the inspection of field crop sprayers in the exploitation conditions of central Serbia, in accordance with European standards EN 13790, which prescribes methods and equipment for inspection. The aim of the research was to determine the quality of the work of chests and the uniformity of the flow of various sprays, depending on the defined parameters. The test equipment used 'AAMSSALVARANI' measuring equipment, and the flow of the nozzles was measured by the SN S001 individual nozzles. On the basis of the obtained results, it was concluded that the average values of the flow of the sprayer amounted to 0.954 l min-1 (typ A), 1.169 l min-1 (typ B), or until 1.190 l min-1 (sprayer typ C), where the coefficient of variation was in the range 12.24% to 29.49%.

abstract = "Proper protection and quality work of sprayer enable the optimization of the pesticide application and reduces the harmful effects on the environment and human health. On the basis of the obtained results, it was concluded that the average values of the flow of the sprayer amounted to 0.954 l min-1 (typ A), 1.169 l min-1 (typ B), or until 1.190 l min-1 (sprayer typ C), where the coefficient of variation was in the range 12.24% to 29.49%., Pravilnom zaštitom i kvalitetnim radom prskalica omogućuje se optimizacija aplikacije pesticida i smanjuje štetni uticaj na životnu sredinu i zdravlje ljudi. AB - Proper seed distribution over area and depth is the essential condition that provides later uniform plants distribution over the vegetation space. Paper presents statistical analysis of two drills accuracy results in winter rye sowing. Experiment was done in north Kosovo, during rye sowing with two mechanical seed drills, OLT Gama and IMT 634.23. Besides the comparative analysis of the sowing results achieved by these two drills, in the paper is tested and verified the applicability of Gaussian function for analytical description of longitudinal, transverse and depth distribution of winter rye seed at the experimental plot.
