AB  - The work investigated the equipment of tractors, attachments and combines
in a medium-sized family farm. The research was conducted on the registered family
farm "Đurković" in the village of Čestin in the municipality of Knić. The farm cultivates
arable and forage crops for feeding dairy cows and fattening oxen on an area of 44 ha.
In the sowing structure, meadows are the most represented with 20 ha (45.45%),
alfalfa 5 ha (11.36%), silage maize 3 ha (6.83%) and perko 0.4 ha (0.91%). The farm
also grows barley on 2 ha, wheat on 1.5 ha, soybeans on 0.7 ha, oats on 0.4 ha, and
peppers for processing on 40 ares. The production process is carried out with three
tractors, 22 implements, a self-propelled combine for small grains and a combine for
silage. One tractor with an average engine power of 41.4 kV works 14.67 ha of
available land with 7.33 attachments. The total available power of the tractor engine is
129.43 kW, and the energy equipment of the farm is 2.94 kW/ha, which is the average
of family farms in Serbia. If the combine engine power for small grain and silage were
added, the energy equipment would increase to 7.85 kV/ha. Combines are underutilized
because they are used only for subsistence. The average age of mechanization is over
40 years, so replacement and purchase of new agricultural machinery is not possible.

AB  - The paper presents the results of testing equipment at family farms with agricultural machinery in Northwest Montenegro in municipalities Pljevlja, Žabljak, Kolašin and Mojkovac. In the mentioned municipalities, 123 agricultural farms in 65 villages were surveyed. The total area of available land on farms is 1612.08 ha, of which only 8.27% are cultivated and the rest meadows and pastures. The average area of family farms is 13.11 ha of used agricultural land, which is three times more than the average in Montenegro. Single-axle tractors with an engine power of 5-10 kW are represented by 16% of the total number of tractors. Family farms are not sufficiently equipped with two-axle tractors, because every other one has a tractor (0.51 tractors per farm). The tractors are average power of 30.12 kW. Energy equipments in the surveyed area, expressed through the nominal engine power of two-axle tractors per unit area, in averages at 1.18 kW / ha. There’s a shortage of tractors with engine power over 50 kW with rear and front wheel drive (double traction). Family farms are insufficiently equipped with attached machines (1.28 machines / farm). Ratios per one two-axle tractor are 2.49 attachments and 10.27 ha of used land. There is a lack of machines for vertical tillage and combined machines for pre-sowing soil preparation (chisel plows, seed drills, rotary harrows), as well a seeder for small grains and corn. In addition, there is a lack of machines for the preparation of silage and haylage in silage facilities (self-loading trailers and combines), as well roll presses, wrappers and catchers wrapped in foil.

Seasonal performance of shared silage combine harvesters in a machinery ring

AB  - The article presents the results of monitored operation of combines during the first season of their joint use for silage preparation in the northern part of Montenegro in machinery rings in the municipalities of Bijelo Polje, Berane and Pljevlja. The seasonal performance was determined for a total of 6 combines, of which only one was used for the preparation of silage from whole corn plants, one combine was used for preparing silage from cuts, and four combines were intended for direct mowing and ensiling of grass. The research included 7 machinery rings and 45 farmers, of which 11 (24.44%) shared harvesters for the preparation of silage from grass, alfalfa, a mixture of legumes, and grain. During the season, the shared harvesters worked 45 days and achieved an output of 23.95 ha and 687.75 t of silage. For the preparation of silage from whole corn plants in 2 machinery rings, a joint combine was used by 9 farmers. The total seasonal performance of the combine was 14.9 ha of harvested land, and 468.45 t of corn silage for 19 days of work. The extent of use of shared silage combine harvesters depends on plot size, area under fodder plants, organization of work, output of the combine, optimal dates for cultural operations, and weather conditions i.e. the number of days suitable for work, etc.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati praćenja rada kombajna u toku prve sezone zajedničkog korišćenja u pripremanju silaže u Severnom delu Crne Gore u mašinskim prstenovima u opštinama Bijelo Polje, Berane i Pljevlja. Utvrđen je sezonski učinak ukupno 6 kombajna, od kojih je samo jedan za pripremanje silaže od cele biljke kukuruza, jedan kombajn je za siliranje silomase iz otkosa, a četiri kombajna su namenjena za direktno košenje i siliranje trava. Istraživanjima je obuhvaćeno 7 mašinskih prstenova i 45 farmera, od kojih je 11 (24,44%) zajednički koristilo kombajne za pripremu silaže od trava, lucerke, mešavine leguminoza i žita. U toku sezone zajednički korišćeni kombajni su radili 45 dana i ostvarili učinak od 23,95 ha i 687,75 t silo mase. Za pripremu silaže od cele biljke kukuruza u 2 mašinska prstena zajednički kombajn je koristilo 9 farmera. Ukupan sezonski površinski učinak kombajna je 14,9 ha, a maseni 468,45 t silaže kukuruza za 19 dana rada. Obim korišćenja zajedničkih kombajna za silažu zavisi od veličine parcele, površina pod krmnim biljem, organizacije rada, eksploatacionog učinka kombajna, optimalnih agrotehničkih rokova, vremenskih uslova, odnosno broja pogodnih dana za rad i dr.

Coefficient of explosion of grape oil repas in respect of variety, content of humidity and surface

AB  - Knowing the coefficient of friction of bio material is important in determining the angle of the grain elevator elevator when designing combines, as well as the angles of gravity tables and pipes in seed finishing. The basic characteristic of biological materials, or seeds of agricultural crops, is that they differ in their physical and morphological characteristics. Therefore, the friction depends on: the types of plants, variety, shape, dimensions and seed content, the humidity of the seed, the intensity of the normal force on the substrate and the roughness of the substrate. The paper presents the results of the study of the influence of individual factors (varieties, water content of the grain and the type of substrate) and their interactions on the grain friction coefficient. The domestic varieties that are grown in Serbia are selected for testing the fruiting grain fruity: Banadanka, Jasna and Slavica. The experimental measurement of the static coefficient of grain slip friction was done using the level of the mechanical device Tribometr. Plastic, plywood, galvanized, steel, aluminum and stainless steel sheet are made for the experiment purposes. Research was carried out with different water content in grains: 6%, 11%, 16% and 24%. The variety Banadanka had a lower friction coefficient compared to Jasna and Slavica varieties on all substrates and with all the water content of the grain. It was found that with the increase of water content in the grain, a significant increase in the friction coefficient of the grains of the tested varieties on all substrates was achieved. The highest friction coefficient for all water content of the grains of the tested varieties was on the base of the plywood board, and the smallest on the base of stainless steel sheet.

The decrease of wheat yield on the plot edges - headlands due to soil compaction

AB  - By executing appropriate agro-technical measures in the process of production of field crops (wheat), due to the numerous passages by machines, the soil gets compacted. In the family farms in Serbia, technological processes of production of field crops comprise specific agro-technical measures, starting with distribution of fertilizers, a multi-phase soil treatment system, followed by sowing, protecting, fertilization, harvesting, transporting of grain and plant residues. Thus, in the implementation of technological operations in the production of plant crops, the land area of the plot is exposed to 10 to 15 passages by tractor and self-propelled systems. A large number of passages by machines result in the soil compaction in the centre of the plot, and especially on the edges - headlands, which negatively affects the yield of cultivated crops and leads to physical and mechanical disturbance of the structure of the soil. The aim of the research was to determine the difference in yield, plant height, spike length, 1000 grain weight and volume grain wheat in the central part of the plot in relation to the headlands of the plot. For the purpose of this paper, a trial was set up with varieties of wheat Pobeda at three sites, and the wheat yield was measured on the inner part - plot centre and the edges - headlands of the plot, with more pronounced soil compaction. During the research, in addition to the yield, the following were determined: the difference in plant height, spike length, 1000 grain weight and volume (hectolitre) grain weight in the middle plot and headlands. The yield of wheat on the inner part of the plot at all locations was above 44% to 69.06% to yield realized on the headlands. The average plant height was higher by 4.76% to 13.75%, and the spike length from 6.11% to 15.93% in the middle of the plot relative to the edges - headlands. On the inner part of the plot the weight of 1000 grains and volume weight were lower compared to the values of these properties on the edges.

AB  - The effects of variety and origin of planting material were examined in the aeroponic growing system. The potato cultivars 'Cleopatra', 'Kennebec' and 'Agria' were used for the experimental purposes, originating both in vitro and from minitubers of the previous season's crops. Plants originating from minitubers were found to be simpler and cheaper to prepare for the aeroponic system of cultivation compared to plants obtained in vitro. The first harvest of the 'Cleopatra' minitubers began 43 days after planting in aeroponics, whereas the harvest of the 'Kennebec' and 'Agria' minitubers occurred 20 days later. The 'Cleopatra' cultivar yielded an average of 14.37 minitubers, followed by the 'Kennebec' cultivar and "Agria" cultivar with 16.91 and 19.43 minitubers on average, respectively. In the 'Cleopatra' and 'Kennebec' cultivars, the plant of the in vitro origin had a significantly larger number of tubers per plant than the plants originating from previous vegetation minitubers. In the 'Agria' cultivar, the in vitro created plants had a larger number of minitubers. The average mass of minitubers of all the cultivars under consideration was significantly higher in the plants originating from minitubers. A successive harvest of minitubers allows them to reach the desired size with dominant minitubers weighing over 8 g, which are considered large.
AB  - Aeroponski sistem za proizvodnju predosnovnog sadnog materija krompira (bezvirusne mini krtole) počeo je da se primenjuje početkom 21. veka. Mini krtole su proizvedene ex vitro od aklimatizovanih biljaka dobijenih in vitro ili od umnoženih mikro krtola. Njihova veličinu je manja od konvencionalnih krtola semenskog krompira, ali je veća od in vitro krtola proizvedenih pod aseptičnim uslovima na veštačkim medijima. Veličina mini krtola se obično kreće od 5-25 mm. U aeroponik sistemu gajenja, ispitivan je uticaj sorte i porekla sadnog materijala. Kao materijal u istraživanjima korišćene su tri sorte krompira Cleopatra, Kennebec i Agria sa dva porekla: in vitro i od mini krtola iz predhodne generacije. Biljke koje potiču iz mini krtola su jednostavnije i jeftinije za pripremu biljaka pogodnih za aeroponski sistem gajenja, u odnosu na biljke dobijene in vitro. Prvo branje mini krtola kod sorte Cleopatra počelo je 43 dana nakon sadnje u aeroponiku, dok je kod sorti Kennebec i Agria bilo 20 dana kasnije. Sorta Cleopatra formirala je u proseku 14,37 mini krtola, sorta Kennebec 16,91 i Agria 19,43 mini krtole. Physical properties of oil rapeseed kernels at different moisture content and varietes

AB  - The physical properties of the three common cultivars were evaluated as a function of seed moisture content, which varied from 6.04 - 21.17%, from 5.82 - 20.90% and from 5.98 - 20.46% in 'Banacanka', 'Jasna' and 'Slavica', respectively. Results of thousand-seed weight increased from 4.18 g to 4.94 g in 'Banacanka', from 4.74 g to 5.61 g in 'Jasna', and from 4.11 to 4.81 g in 'Slavica'. The seed volume of 'Jasna' ranged between 4.72 mm(3) and 5.49 mm(3), and it was significantly higher than that of 'Banacanka' and 'Slavica' (4.07 - 4.93 mm(3) and 4.12 - 4.81 mm(3), respectively). The bulk density of 'Jasna' seeds was significantly lower than in other cultivars. Depending on seed moisture content, seed density decreased from 1023.18 kgm(-3) to 996.97 kgm(-3) in 'Banacanka', from 1009.31 to 992.70 kgm(-3) in 'Jasna', and from 1012.96-992 kgm(-3) in 'Slavica'. Porosity increased with increasing seed moisture content in all cultivars. The porosity of 'Jasna' seeds (35.97-38.43%) was higher than that of 'Banacanka' (35.42-38.23%) and 'Slavica' (35.19-37.07%) seeds. At different seed moisture levels, bulk density varied from 665.82 to 615.84 kgm(-3) in 'Banacanka', from 646.24 to 611.22 kgm(-3) in 'Jasna', and from 656.57 to 624.66 kgm(-3) in 'Slavica'. The static angle of repose in 'Banacanka', 'Jasna' and 'Slavica' ranged from 22.96 degrees to 28.05 degrees, from 24.64 degrees to 29.66 degrees and from 24.63 degrees to 29.61 degrees at moisture contents increasing. The dynamic angle of repose was highest in 'Jasna' (20.32-25.90 degrees), followed by 'Slavica' (21.03-25.58 degrees), and lowest in 'Banacanka' (19.22-24.66 degrees). Increasing seed moisture content was found to increase the friction coefficient. The static friction coefficient of cvs. 'Jasna' and 'Slavica' was higher than for 'Banacanka'.

AB  - Milk production in Serbia is characterized by small surface of production and a large number of small family farms. For rural areas where this production is mostly carried out, economic profitability of production contributes to becoming a family business. This study refers to milk family farms of smaller and medium economic and production capacity, for which the economic analysis in the period of three years was applied and production results were calculated. Applying the calculation method the total revenues and total costs, and contribution margins per cow and per liter of produced milk were computed. By comparing the results obtained on farms A and B, conclusions were drawn, and the sensitivity of contribution margins to change of the given parameters (purchase prices of milk and milk produced per cow) was determined by sensitivity analysis. The stability in production is realized by achieving higher contribution margins with satisfactory milk yield per cow and quality milk, as well acceptable purchase prices of milk.

AB  - The structure of the milk supply market depends on processing capacities in Serbia, which are more oriented to the production of dairy products pasteurized and sterilized milk and fermented dairy products (yoghurt, cream, sour milk, etc.), while the production of solid dairy products (cheeses, cream, spreads, butter, powdered milk, etc.) is significantly lower. Taking into consideration the current situation in Serbia regarding the primary production, purchase and processing of milk, an overview is given of the foreign trade balance of milk and dairy products and their participation in exports and imports. The analysis of the foreign trade of milk and dairy products for the period 2007- 2017 highlights products that are exported and have stable export tendencies, as well as scarce products which are imported and have a markedly negative balance sheet in the observed period. We also analyzed major export-import destinations of Serbia for the trade exchange of milk and dairy products, which primarily refers to the CEFTA countries, the European Union and the Russian Federation.
AB  - Struktura tržišne ponude mleka zavisi od preradnih kapaciteta u Srbiji, koji su više orijentisani na proizvodnju mlečnih proizvoda pasterizovanog i sterilizovanog mleka i fermentisanih mlečnih proizvoda (jogurt, pavlaka, kiselo mleko itd.) dok je proizvodnja čvrstih mlečnih proizvoda (sirevi, pavlake, namazi, maslac, mleko u prahu itd.) značajno manja. Uzimajući u obzir aktuelno stanje u Srbiji u primarnoj proizvodnji, otkupu i preradi mleka, dat je kratak osvrt na spoljnotrgovinski bilans mleka i mlečnih proizvoda i njihovo učešće u izvozu i uvozu. Analizom spoljnotrgovinske razmene mleka i proizvoda za posmatrani period 2007-2017. godine ukazano je na proizvode koji se izvoze i imaju stabilne izvozne tendencije, kao i na deficitarne proizvode koji se uvoze i imaju izražene negativne bilanse u posmatranom periodu. Analizirane su i najvažnije izvozno- uvozne destinacije sa kojima Srbija ostvaruje trgovinsku razmenu za mleko i mlečne proizvode, pri čemu se to prvenstveno odnosi na zemlje CEFTA grupe, Evropske unije i Rusku Federaciju.

AB  - In the laboratory for micropropagation in Potato Research Center in Gucha, in vitro virus-free plants of following potato varieties were produced: Desiree, Kennebec, Agria, Cleopatra and Sinora. Acclimatized and rooted plants were transplanted in previously prepared aeroponik module. During the duration of the experiment, the mini-tubers were successively harvested four times and their mass and number were recorded. The first harvest of mini tubers was out after 40-45 days after transplanting in aeropnik system. The highest average number of mini tubers was of the Desiree variety (15.55), while the lowest number was harvested by varieties Sinora and Cleopatra (10.66 and 10.52). The highest average mass of one mini-tuber per plant was obtained in the Agria variety (8.97 g), followed by the Kennebec variety (7.61 g) and the Kleopatra variety (6.36 g). The smallest mini-tubers were measured in the Desiree and Sinora varieties (5.32 g and 4.83 g). In the aeroponic system, 4.08 times more mini-tubers were obtained compared to the substrate. Aeroponik system offers the potential to improve the production of potato mini tubers.
AB  - U laboratoriji za mikropropagaciju  Centru za krompir u Guči proizvedene su bezvirusne biljke in vitro sorti krompira: Desiree, Kennebec, Agria, Cleopatra i Sinora. Aklimatizovane i ožiljene biljke presađene su u pripremljene aeroponik module. Tokom trajanja ogleda mini krtole su sukcesivno ubirane u četiri termina i merena je njihova masa i broj. Prvo branje mini krtola je obavljeno posle 40-45 dana po presadjivanju u aeropnik sistem. Najveći prosečan broj mini krtola imala je sorta Desiree (15,55), dok su najmanji broj dale sorte  Sinora i Cleopatra (10,66 i 10,52). Najveća prosečna masa jedne mini krtole po biljci ustanovljena je kod sorte Agria (8,97 g), zatim kod sorte Kennebec (7,61 g), odnosno sorte Cleopatra (6,36 g). Najsitnije mini krtole izmerene su kod kod sorti Desiree i Sinora (5,32 g i 4,83 g). U aeroponik sistemu dobijen je 4,08 puta veći broj mini krtola  u odnosu na supstrat. Aeroponik sistem nudi potencijalnu mogućnost za poboljšanje proizvodnje dobijanja mini krtola krompira.

AB  - At the micropropagation laboratory of the Potato Research Centre in Gucha, the following five virus-free in vitro potato cultivars are produced: 'Desiree', 'Kennebec', 'Agria', 'Cleopatra' and 'Sinora'. The results obtained indicate that the cultivation system exerts a significant effect on the number and the total yield of potato mini-tubers. In the aeroponic production system, 4.08 times as many mini-tubers were produced compared to the number of mini-tubers produced in the substrate system, whereas 1.29 times as many mini-tubers were produced compared to the number of mini-tubers produced in the combined production system (substrate + aeroponics). The aeroponic mini-tuber production system offers an opportunity to improve the production of seed potatoes in Serbia..
AB  - Proizvodnja bezvirusnog semenskog krompira danas se odvija preko metode poznate kao kultura tkiva (mikropropagacija in vitro), čija je suština da se za relativno kratko vreme, i u kontrolisanim uslovima, dobije veliki broj bezvirusnih mini ili mikro krtola. U laboratoriji za mikropropagaciju Centru za krompir u Guči proizvedene su bezvirusne biljke in vitro pet sorti krompira: Desiree, Kennebec, Agria, Cleopatra i Sinora. Aklimatizovane i ožiljene biljke presađene su i gajene u tri sistema proizvodnje: 1) aeroponik, 2) u supstratu i 3) kombinaciji dva sistema gajenja (supstrat+aeroponik). Cilj rada je bio da se izvrši poređenje aeroponik sistema gajenja sa druga dva sistema proizvodnje mini krtola. Mini krtole u aeroponik sistemu posle 40-45 dana gajenja sukcesivno su ubirane u četiri roka berbe u intervalima od 10-15 dana. U ostala dva sistemima gajenja mini krtole su vađene na kraju vegetacionog perioda. Analiziran je broj mini krtola po m2, prosečna masa krtola i ukupan prinos. Najveći prosečan broj mini krtola utvrđen je kod sorte Desiree, dok je najmanji broj mini krtola zabeležen kod sorte Sinora i Cleopatra. Kod sorte Agria konstatovan je najveći prosečnan prinos mini krtola, a zatim kod sorte Kennebec. Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju da sistem gajenja značajno utiče broj mini krtola i ukupan prinos. Kod aeroponik sistema proizvodnje postignut je 4,08 puta veći broj mini krtola, u odnosu na broj mini krtola dobijen u supstratu, odnosno 1,29 puta veći broj mini krtola, u odnosu na kobinovani način proizvodnje (supstrata+aeroponik). Aeroponik sistem proizvodnje mini krtola nudi potencijalnu mogućnost za poboljšanje proizvodnje semenskog krompira u Srbiji.

AB  - Ensuring high yields of good-quality corn silage provides cheaper rations for milking cows. To reduce silage production costs, the calculation method was used for the analysis of milk production on two  farms (A and B) during three years. The article presents the breakdown of milk production costs as the average percentage of total variable costs for both farms, as well as the costs of silage.
AB  - Ostvarenjem dobrih prinosa kvalitetne silaže kukuruza obezbeđuju se jeftiniji obroci za ishranu muznih krava. U cilju smanjivanja troškova proizvodnje silaže metodom kalkulacija analizirana je ova proizvodnja na dva poljoprivredna gazdinstva A i B za period od tri godine. U radu je dato prosečno učešće troškova u ukupnim varijabilnim troškovima za oba gazdinstva kao i cene koštanja proizvedene silaže.

AB  - This article presents the economic analysis of two farms A and B for the period 2013-2015. Based on the data for the three years, the income and value of realized production, variable costs and gross margin were calculated, and values were measured per dairy cow for easier comparison. Efficiency in milk production largely depends on the cost of feeding dairy cows, as well on the selling price of milk. These parameters changed in the research period on both farms and significantly impacted the values of realized gross margin.
AB  - U radu je data ekonomska analiza dva poljoprivredna gazdinstva A i B za period od 2013-2015. godine. Na osnovu praćenih podataka za tri godine izračunati su prihodi i vrednosti ostvarene proizvodnje, varijabilni troškovi i bruto marža, a radi lakše komparacije iskazani su rezultati po muznom grlu. Efikasnost u proizvodnji mleka u velikoj meri zavisi od troškova ishrane muznih krava, kao i prodajne cene mleka, ovi parametri su bili promenljivi u posmatranom periodu na oba gazdinstva i značajno su uticali na ostvarene vrednosti bruto marže.

AB  - Dairy farms generate large amounts of manure as their by-product. In tie-stall and free-stall housing systems for dairy cows, in barns with a lot of or little bedding used, the solid manure produced is a mixture of dung, urine and bedding. In traditional cattle farming which is mostly practiced on small family farms, the manure generated is mostly solid. The amount of manure available from dairy cattle on an annual basis is substantially dependent on farm production capacity and number and class of cattle. Manure is also affected by housing system, cattle management practices and type of bedding. This study presents the amounts of solid manure obtained on farms of 10, 20 and 50 dairy cows and provides the nutrient content and an estimated value of the manure.
AB  - Na farmama muznih krava proizvedu se velike količine stajnjaka kao pratećeg proizvoda. Kod vezanog i slobodnog sistema gajenja krava, u stajama uz korišćenje manjih ili većih količina prostirke stvara se čvrsti stajnjak kao mešavina balege, osoke i prostirke. U tradicionalnoj govedarskoj proizvodnji koja je pretežno zastupljena na malim porodičnim gazdinstvima uglavnom se radi o čvrstom stajnjaku. Različiti proizvodni kapaciteti na mlečnim farmama, kao i brojno stanje grla stoke po kategorijama na godišnjem nivou bitno određuju količine dobijenog stajnjaka. Na stajnjak utiču i način držanja grla, primena zootehničkih mera i vrsta prostirke. U radu su izračunate količine čvrstog stajnjaka na farmama kapaciteta 10, 20 i 50 muznih krava, a dat je i sadržaj hranljivih elemenata i procenjena je dobijena vrednost stajnjaka.

AB  - This paper presents the results of research on condition and needs for technical systems in livestock production in Serbia, based on results of agricultural census in year 2012. Findings in the filed of agricultural engineering, part that concerns on fodder production, concentrate feed production, cattle breeding, milk production, fattening beefs production, pig meat production, poultry and eggs production, are covered in this survey. This paper estimates current status regarding production volume, requirements and applied equipment in production processes abroad and domestically. Estimates of possibilities of domestic equipment suppliers to meet those requirements are also given.
AB  - U radu su izloženi rezultati istraživanja stanja i potreba za tehnikom u stočarskoj proizvodnji u Srbiji na osnovu rezultata popisa Poljoprivrede 2012. Obuhvaćena su saznanja u delu poljoprivredne tehnike u proizvodnji kabastih i koncentrovanih stočnih hraniva, saznanja u oblasti govedarske proizvodnje, proizvodnje mleka i tova junadi, proizvodnje svinjskog mesa, živinarskoj proizvodnji. Procenjeno je trenutno stanje po pitanju obima proizvodnje, potreba i primenjene mehanizacije u proizvodnim procesima u svetu i kod nas i dato je mišljenje o mogućnostima domaće industrije da odgovori zadatku proizvodnji opreme u stočarstvu koja bi zadovoljila domaće potrebe po kvalitetu i obimu proizvodnje.

Milk and dairy products in the foreign trade balance of Serbia

AB  - In order to approach EU policies in the milk production sector in Serbia, big changes can be expected, according to the experiences of the neighboring countries that have gone through this development process in an easier or harder way. In the foreign trade of milk and dairy products, Serbia has realized positive balance and is one of the leading countries in this production in the region. In order to strengthen the market position of Serbia and observe realistic export potentials, this article analyzes foreign trade balance for dairy products by commodity groups and provides an analysis of the countries that are primarily involved in the exchange of goods. In the period 2008-2013, the Republic of Serbia exported dairy products amounting to 35.2 million dollars, and imported 22.1 million dollars. In terms of value, Serbia exports almost two times more products that are of lower processing level compared to the final products that achieve significantly higher market prices.
AB  - U cilju približavanja politike EU u sektoru proizvodnje mleka u Srbiji mogu se očekivati velike promene o tome govore iskustva zemalja u okruženju koje su lakše ili teže prošle kroz ove razvojne procese. U spoljnotrgovinskoj razmeni mleka i mlečnih proizvoda Srbija ostvaruje pozitivan bilans i predstavlja jednu od vodećih zemalja u ovoj proizvodnji u regionu. Radi jačanja tržišnih pozicija Srbije i sagledavanja realnih izvoznih potencijala u radu je data spoljnotrgovinska analiza mleka i proizvoda po robnim grupama i data je analiza po zemljama koje su primarno uključene u robnu razmenu. U posmatranom periodu 2008-2013 godina Republika Srbija je izvezla mleka i mlečnih proizvoda u vrednosti od 35,2 mil. dolara, a uvezla 22,1 mil. dolara. Sa vrednosnog aspekta Srbija skoro dva puta više izveze proizvode koji su nižeg stepena prerade, u odnosu na finalne proizvode koji postižu znatno veću tržišnu cenu.

AB  - The biggest problem in seed birdsfoot trefoil harvest is pod cracking before and during harvest. At full maturity, birdsfoot trefoil pods crack easily, resulting in seed spillage and hence seed losses. The cracking pod problem significantly limits the successful production of seeds. Exploitation indices, operational performance and reliability of a used general-purpose Claas Mercator 50 combine harvester in harvesting birdsfoot trefoil seed were studied. The testing was carried out in field conditions in Western Serbia area. The losses of grain over the cutter bar and over the threshing machine were found out.Total header and thresher losses ranged from 21.28% to 23.86% at an operating speed of 2.04 km/h and 2.63 km/h, respectively. This is an expected result for the crop under increased crop moisture conditions. There was loss of operating time i.e. congestion of unharvested grain due to increased operating rate, seed moisture and straw. Time consumption for elimination of harvesting delay at a rate of 2.63 km/h was higher than at a rate of 2.04 km/h and accounted for 13.48% of the total operating time. The research also involved monitoring of intensity pod cracking during the day depending on air temperature. Birdsfoot trefoil pod opening intensity increased of starts after 11 a.m. at air temperatures over 30 0 C when 80-90% of pods crack at 17- 20% moisture.
AB  - U žetvi semena žutog zvezdana najveći problem predstavlja otvaranje mahuna pre i toku žetve. U punoj zrelosti mahune žutog zvezdana lako se otvaraju i seme se prosipa što dovodi do gubitaka. Problem otvaranja mahuna u značajnoj meri limitira uspešnu proizvodnju semena. Istraživani su eksplatacioni pokazatelji, kvalitet rada i pouzdanost starog univerzalnog žitnog kombajna 'Claas Mercator 50' u žetvi semena žutog zvezdana. Ispitivanje je obavljeno u poljskim uslovima Zapadne Sbije. Ustanovljeni su gubici na hederu i vršalici kombajna. Ukupni gubici hedera i vršalice na ispitivanom kombajnu iznosili su od 21,28% do 23,86% pri radnim brzinama 2,04 km/h i 2,63 km/h, što se moglo i očekivati za pomenuti kombajn i ovu kulturu u uslovima povećane vlažnosti useva. Tokom rada kombajna dolazilo je do zastoja tj. zagušenja vršidbene mase, usled povećane radna brzina, vlažnosti semena i slame. Utrošeno vreme za otklanjanje tehnoloških zastoja kod radne brzine od 2,63 km/h bilo je veće nego kod brzine od 2,04 km/h i iznosilo je 13,48% od ukupnog radnog vremena. Intenzitet pucanja u toku dana zavisno od temperature je takođe bio predmet ispitivanja ovog rada. Povećani intenzitet otvaranja mahuna počinje posle 11 sati, pri temperaturi vaduha preko 30 0 C kada se otvori 80-90% mahuna vlažnosti od 17- 20%.

AB  - Production of compost from mixture of liquid manure and wheat straw is achievable process. In order to obtain final product of good quality, it is necessary to achieve total control of process. In the production process, essential changes in properties were recorded, compared to initial stage. Organic fertilizer of excellent quality was produced by composting the mixture of liquid manure and wheat straw. Prior to composting, components were mixed in fixed ratio. Production process involves aerobic treatment of mixture, by turning the mass frequently. Mixture of manure and straw was placed on the concrete surface in form of prisms, 3m wide and 1m high. Special machine for mass turning was used. The most important parameters for composting process, and their changes during treatment were monitored (changes in temperature, mass, height, bulk density, moisture content, N content, organic dry matter content, pH level C/N ratio).

AB  - Biological and chemical properties of cv. Willamette were contrasted with those of cvs Tulameen, Latham, Meeker and K81-6 grown under agro-environmental conditions of Western Serbia. The following parameters were examined: yield per unit land area, total dry matter content, soluble solids content, total reducing sugars, total acids content, pH value, total pectines and total anthocyanins. The obtained results showed that cvs Willamette and Meeker had exceptional yield potential and highest quality fruits, which renders them suitable for both fresh use and various forms of processing, whereas cv. Tulameen can be recommended for fresh consumption only. K81-6 is recommended for processing and fast freezing after harvesting.

AB  - The aerobic treatment of solid manure increases the content of total and easily available amounts of N, P2O5, K2O by 3.76 times on average in comparison with raw solid manure, and makes the maturation time eight time as short, which is significant for several reasons. In this paper, we showed that the price of the substitution of compost derived from aerobic processing is 4.24 times as high in comparison with the price of the substitution of burnt manure derived through anaerobic processing. By applying different dynamic methods for the assessment of investments, a fact was established that investing in the purchase of a machine for the aerobic processing of manure is economically justified and financially acceptable for farms with 19 and more cows. .
AB  - Aerobnom negom čvrstog stajnjaka povećava se sadržaj ukupnih i lako pristupačnih količina N, P2O5, K2O, u odnosu na sirovi čvrsti stajnjak prosečno za 3,76 puta, a vreme dozrevanja skraćuje osam puta što ima višestruki značaj. U radu je pokazano da je cena zamene komposta dobijenog aerobnom obradom 4,24 puta veća u odnosu na cenu zamene zgorelog stajnjaka dobijenog anaerobnom obradom. Primenom različitih dinamičkih metoda za ocenu investicija utvrđeno je da je investicija u nabavku mašine za aerobnu obradu stajnjaka ekonomski opravdana i finansijski prihvatljiva za farme koje poseduju 19 i više krava. .

AB  - If the procedures of preparation for milking and finishing operations are conducted correctly, then it can be expected to produce top-quality milk. It is, therefore, necessary to know the basis of physiology of milk secretion, possible sources of contamination and handling procedures with milk after the milking. One of the essential conditions for reducing clinical and subclinical udder diseases and top-quality milk production (somatic cells count ≤ 400000/ml, the total number of microorganisms ≤100000/ml) is milking procedure that involves stimulating and hygienic procedures of udder preparation, milking process, after milking procedures and hygiene of milking equipment. The subject of this study was to determine the influence of preparatory procedures for milking, as well as the milking with different types of milking equipments on hygienic and bacteriological safety of raw milk on family farms.
AB  - Ukoliko se postupci pripreme za mužu, muža i završne operacije, izvode pravilno, onda se može dobiti mleko vrhunskog kvaliteta. Zato je neophodno poznavanje osnova fiziologije lučenja mleka, mogućih izvora kontaminacije i postupaka sa mlekom posle muže. Jedan od bitnih uslova da se smanje kliničke i subkliničke bolesti vimena i proizvede mleko ekstra klase (broj somatskih ćelija ≤ 400000/ml, ukupan broj mikroorganizama ≤ 100000/ml) jeste procedura muže koja obuhvata stimulativne i higijenske procedure pripreme vimena, tok muže, proceduru nakon muže i higijenu aparata za mužu. Predmet istraživanja je bio da se utvrdi uticaj pripremnih postupaka muže, kao i sam proces muže različitim tipovima muznih uređaja na higijensku i bakteriološku ispravnost sirovog mleka na porodičnim farmama.

abstract = "If the procedures of preparation for milking and finishing operations are conducted correctly, then it can be expected to produce top-quality milk. It is, therefore, necessary to know the basis of physiology of milk secretion, possible sources of contamination and handling procedures with milk after the milking. One of the essential conditions for reducing clinical and subclinical udder diseases and top-quality milk production (somatic cells count ≤ 400000/ml, the total number of microorganisms ≤100000/ml) is milking procedure that involves stimulating and hygienic procedures of udder preparation, milking process, after milking procedures and hygiene of milking equipment. The subject of this study was to determine the influence of preparatory procedures for milking, as well as the milking with different types of milking equipments on hygienic and bacteriological safety of raw milk on family farms., Ukoliko se postupci pripreme za mužu, muža i završne operacije, izvode pravilno, onda se može dobiti mleko vrhunskog kvaliteta. Zato je neophodno poznavanje osnova fiziologije lučenja mleka, mogućih izvora kontaminacije i postupaka sa mlekom posle muže. Jedan od bitnih uslova da se smanje kliničke i subkliničke bolesti vimena i proizvede mleko ekstra klase (broj somatskih ćelija ≤ 400000/ml, ukupan broj mikroorganizama ≤ 100000/ml) jeste procedura muže koja obuhvata stimulativne i higijenske procedure pripreme vimena, tok muže, proceduru nakon muže i higijenu aparata za mužu. Predmet istraživanja je bio da se utvrdi uticaj pripremnih postupaka muže, kao i sam proces muže različitim tipovima muznih uređaja na higijensku i bakteriološku ispravnost sirovog mleka na porodičnim farmama.",

Performance characteristics of the John Deere 5820 harvester used for preparing maize silage for dairy cattle on family farms

AB  - The research was conducted on commercial family farms in the region of Western Serbia. The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance characteristics and operating reliability of the used/old self-propelled John Deere 5820 harvester owned by the Mitrovic Brothers family farm. The harvester was used for preparing ZP-735 hybrid maize silage, with the average maize yield and forage moisture being 24.35 t/ha and 60%, respectively. Under operating conditions, at the lowest operating speed of 2.99 km/ha, the harvester had a harvesting capacity of 28.55 t/ha. With an increase in operating speed to 4.5 km/ha, the harvesting performance was raised to 37.40 t/h. During the season, the harvester ensiled 125 ha at an average daily efficiency of 7.25 ha. The harvester operated in a high-quality and reliable manner without any major breakdown, which suggested that used harvesters, if properly maintained, can exhibit good operational efficiency. Ensiling costs at the test field on the commercial farm were 1.54 diners per kilogram.
AB  - Istraživanja su obavljena na porodičnim komercijalnim farmama užeg područja Zapadne Srbije. Sa ciljem da se utvrde eksploatacione karakteristike i pouzdanost u radu polovnog samohodnog kombajna John Deere 5820 u vlasništvu porodične farme 'Braća Mitrović'. Kombajn je korišćen u procesu siliranja hibridnog kukuruza ZP-735, čiji je prosečan prinos iznosio 24,35 t/ha, a vlažnost mase je bila 60%. Kombajn je u proizvodnim uslovima rada pri najmanjoj brzini od 2,99 km/h ostvario propusnu moć od 28,55 t/h. Sa povećanjem brzine rada na 4,5 km/h ostvarena je veća produktivnost, koja je iznosila 37,40 t/h. U toku sezone kombajn je silirao 125 ha sa prosečnim dnevnim učinkom od 7,25 ha. Kombajn je kvalitetno i pouzdano radio bez većih kvarova, što ukazuje na to da i polovni kombajni ukoliko se pravilno održavaju mogu da ostvare dobar radni efekat. Troškovi siliranja na komercijalnoj farmi, na ispitivanim parcelama iznosili su 1,54 dinara po kilogramu.

Work quality of silage harvester Fortshritte-286

AB  - Results of quantitative and qualitative maize plants analysis were presented in the paper. Analyzed maize plants were cut and chopped by hand, into pieces of app. 5 mm. In every separate sample plant part content of dry matter was measured. By qualitative analysis was determined the content of crude proteins, crude fats, crude cellulose and crude ash, and the values of BEM and metabolic net energy were calculated. Besides, additionally were conducted measurements of: plant height, stalk thickness, cob height, plants number, yield per hectare, moving speed, cut height, time duration of trailer loading, trailer weight and harvester efficiency. Apart of those, losses of chopped material during the trailer loading were measured. Examined maize hybrids contained, in the stalk up to the height of 20 cm, 83,34% moisture and less metabolic energy, only 1,47 MJ/kg, compared to the rest of the plant with 3,53 MJ/kg. High correlation dependency between moving speed and cutting height was found. It was concluded that, during the harvesting, is not necessary to limit the working speed because of losses caused by increased cutting height. Increased cutting height from 12 to 20 cm would cause increment of the working speed, mass flow and harvester efficiency. Transport trailers must have large volume of transport space because of lower transport and loading losses. The chopping length that harvester achieved has fulfilled the technological requirements.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati kvantitativne i kvalitativne analize biljaka zastupljenih hibrida kukuruza. Biljke kukuruza za kvantitativnu i kvalitativnu analizu su ručno odsecane i usitnjavane na oko 5 mm. U svakom od navedenih delova uzorka određen je sadržaj suvih materija. Kvalitativnom analizom određivan je sadržaj sirovih proteina, sirovih masti, sirove celuloze i sirovog pepela, a računskim putem određene su vrednosti za BEM i metabolička neto energija. Pored toga izvršena su još i merenja: visine biljaka, debljine stabla, visina klipa, broj biljaka, prinos po hektaru, brzina kretanja, visina reza, vreme utovara prikolice, težina prikolice, propusna moć i učinak kombajna. Posebno su mereni gubici iseckane mase pri utovaru u transportno sredstvo. Ispitivani hibridi kukuruza u stablu do visine od 20 cm sadrže 83,34% vlage i najmanje neto metaboličke energije, svega 1,47 MJ/kg u odnosu na ostali deo biljke sa 3,53 MJ/kg. Postoji visoka korelaciona zavisnost između brzine kretanja i visine reza. Zaključeno je da kombajniranjem ne treba ograničavati radnu brzinu zbog gubitaka na povećanu visinu reza. Povećanje visine reza sa 12-20 cm povećala bi se radna brzina, protok mase i učinak kombajna. Transportna sredstva moraju imati veliku zapreminu utovarnog prostora jer su manji gubici pri utovaru i transportu. Ostvarenom dužinom seckanja kombajn je zadovoljio tehnološke zahteve.
