AB  - In hybrid maize seed processing, due to variable and different agro ecological conditions in production, exist a problem of seed shape and size. Seed of different shape and size, beside physiological traits cause a problem in practice as planting material. First process to achieve planting value is to divide seed to different fractions of shape and size. In this paper, two single cross hybrids from Maize Research Institute Zemun Polje. have been studied. Seed was produced in two different locations. For each hybrid combination, two seed fractions were obtained for shape and three for size. For each hybrid combination and location, six different seed sizes were obtained. For each seed size, from hybrid combination and location, following seed characteristics were study: 1000 kernels weight, seed germination, kernel number per kilogram, kernel number and weigh by liter. Experimental data were calculated to total variability by factorial analysis of variance and correlation. Results shows similarity and differences in seed traits by seed size, location and hybrid combination. Of high significance are differences for kernel number per kilogram, kernel number and weight by liter. These results are of practical significance for hybrid maize seed processing.
AB  - U doradi hibridnog semena kukuruza, usled promenljivih i sasvim različitih agroekoloških uslova u semenskom usevu, pojavljuje se seme različitog oblika i veličine. Seme različitog oblika i veličene pokazuje i različite fiziološke osobine tako da nastaju brojni problem u primeni takvog setvenog materijala. Stoga je prvi postupak u doradi setvene vrednosti semena kalibriranje na frakcije različitog oblika i veličine. U radu su izvršena istraživanja sa hibridnim semenom dve SC kombinacije stvarane u Institutu za kukuruz "Zemun Polje". Seme je proizvedeno na po dve lokacije. Za svaku hibridnu kombinaciju izdvojene su dve frakcije oblika i tri veličine. Frakcije semena izdvajane su naizmeničnim kombinovanjem cilindričnih rešeta sa pravougaonim i okruglim otvorima. Za svaku hibridnu kombinaciju i lokaciju izdvojeno je šest rangova semena. Ispitivane su sledeće osobine hibridnog semena: masa 1000 semena, klijavost semena, broj semena u kg, broj i masa semena u litri. Eksperimentalni podaci obrađeni su na ukupnu varijabilnost. Rezultati pokazuju sličnost i razlike u ispoljavanju osobina hibridnog semena kukuruza u odnosu na frakciju, lokaciju proizvodnje i hibridnu kombinaciju. Posebno su od značaja razlike za broj semena u kg, broj i masa semena u litri. Ovi rezultati magu se primeniti za unapredjenje procesa dorade semena kukuruza.

Influence of grain moisture content during harvest on the maize seed germination

AB  - Modern maize seed drying and processing technology is applied today to ensure high quality grain. The most important factor in preserving seed quality is the moisture content. The time of harvesting, drying, storage and seed conservation is determined by the seed water quantity. At the harvesting time, a lower moisture content is desirable due to seed physiological maturity as well as consequences that may be caused during seed drying. During seed storage, water in seed is maintained at the level of latency to preserve vital seed functions, for maize it is 13-14 %. Influence of different seed moisture content, during harvesting time, on maize seed quality were studied in this research. Two physiological traits of seed were observed: seed energy and germination. Material used in this research were maize hybrids ZP 434 and ZP 666. Moisture content during harvesting time was measured after drying and primary processing, two seed sizes were obtained. From the divided seed samples were taken for laboratory tests. Harvesting was done at different seed moisture content  lt  25 %, 25-30 %, 30-35 % and > 35 %. Maize cobs were dried in double-pass system drier with air temperature below 42 oC. Cob moisture is measured with moisture meter (Pfeuffer). Seed was divided into two fractions according to size using sieves with mesh sizes ranging from 6.5 - 8.3 mm and 8.4 - 11.0 mm. Seed energy and germination were determined in seed testing laboratory on working samples 4x100 seed, by standard maize germination test with ISTA Rules, and Rule on the quality of seed of agricultural plants. Experimental results were calculated on average mean and total variability (SD i C.V.) for seed energy, germination and moisture content. The three factorial analysis of variance was calculated for both germination traits (seed energy and germination), for factors: hybrid, seed sizes and seed moisture content. The results of all factors and traits had different values. The highest means of seed energy and germination in both fractions of both observed hybrids were recorded with the seed moisture content ranging from 30 to 35 %.
AB  - U cilju dobijanja što kvalitetnijeg semenskog materijala, danas je u primeni savremena tehnologija dorade i sušenja semena. Jedan od osnovnih činilaca očuvanja kvaliteta semena je voda. Količina vode u semenu određuje vreme berbe, način sušenja, skladištenja i očuvanja kvaliteta semena.U vreme berbe poželjan je manji sadržaj vode, kako zbog fiziološke zrelosti semena tako i zbog posledica koje mogu biti uzrokovane dužim periodom sušenja. Za vreme čuvanja semena voda se održava na nivou latentnosti životnih funkcija, a za kukuruz to je 13-14%. U ovim istraživanjima posmatran je uticaj različitih vlažnosti semena u toku berbe na kvalitet semena. Posmatrane su dve fiziološke osobine semena: energija klijanja i klijavost. Materijal korišćen u istraživanjima su dva hibrida kukuruza ZP 434 i ZP 666. Berba je vršena sa različitom vlažnošću semena, a posle sušenja i krunjenja, iz naturalnog semenskog materijala izdvojene su dve frakcije po krupnoći. Iz podeljenog semenskog materijala izdvajani su uzorci za laboratorijsko ispitivanje semena. Berba je vršena sa različitom vlažnošću semena, koja je bila:  lt  25%, 25-30%, 30-35% i sa vlažnošću većoj od 35%. Sušenje semenskog klipa obavljeno je u sušarama tipa komora sa dva prolaza fluida za sušenje klipa kukuruza na temperaturi ispod 42oC. Ulazna vlaga klipa merena je laboratorijskim uređajima za određivanje vlage Pfeuffer. Deljenje semena na dve frakcija izvršeno je po krupnoći korišćenjem sita promera 6,5-8,3 mm i 8,4-11,0 mm. Ispitivanje energije klijanja i klijavosti rađeno je u laboratoriji za ispitivanje semena na radnom uzorku 4x100 semena po standardnoj metodi na naizmeničnoj temperaturi 20-30oC po ISTA pravilima i Pravilniku o kvalitetu semena poljoprivrednog bilja. Eksperimentalni podaci obrađeni su na srednju vrednost, standardnu devijaciju i ukupnu varijabilnost (SD i C.V.) za sve osobine semena i svaku varijantu istraživanja. Trofaktorijalna analiza varijanse urađena je za obe posmatrane osobine semena (energiju klijanja i klijavost), za faktore: hibrid, frakcija i vlažnost semena. Dobijeni rezultati po svim osnovama, pokazuju različite vrednosti. Najveća enegija klijanja i klijavost semena utvrđeni su za seme čija je vlaga u toku berbe bila 30-35% za oba ispitivana hibrida.

Breeding winter triticale PKB Vožd created in the institute PKB

AB  - Triticale is a hybrid plant species, a new botanical genus in the family Poaceae, created with the aim to combine the positive properties of wheat and rye. Progress in breeding of winter triticale depends on the available genetic variability, method of installation of desired genes into superior genotypes, and the efficiency of selection (choice) of desirable genotypes or lines. For almost ten years of breeding triticale from the Institute recognized PKB is a cultivar of winter triticale (PKB Vožd) 2010. and whose seed production and commercial sale of seeds and immediately began.
AB  - Tritikale predstavlja biljnu hibridnu vrstu, novog botaničkog roda u porodici Poaceae, nastale sa težnjom da se spoje pozitivne osobine pšenice i raži. Napredak u selekciji i oplemenjivanju ozimog tritikalea zavisi od raspoložive genetičke varijabilnosti, načina ugradnje poželjnih gena u superiorne genotipove, kao i efikasnost selekcije (odabira) poželjnih genotipova, odnosno linija. Za skoro deset godina oplemenjivanja tritikalea u Institutu PKB Agroekonomik priznata je jedna sorta ozimog tritikalea (PKB Vožd) 2010. godine, a čije semenarstvo i komercijalna prodaja semena odmah i počela.

AB  - The aim of the present study was to estimate the effects of the foliar application of fertilisers under stress conditions on the grain yield in two hybrids maize (ZP 580 and ZP 735). Studied hybrids belong to different maturity groups (ZP 580 - FAO 500 and ZP 735 - FAO 700). Both hybrids belong to a stay-green type and they can also serve as silage. Two foliar fertilisers were applied in experiment (Humikal univerzal and Ferticare I). Field trails were carried out under rainfed conditions at the location of Surduk during 2002 and 2003. The method of foliar application of fertilisers proved as an efficient tool for increasing the grain yield in both hybrids. However, Ferticare I is more effective than Humikal univerzal in maize. The hybrid ZP 735 was more productive in more favourable year (2002), while the hybrid ZP 580, with a shorter growing season, produced a higher grain yield in more arid year (2003). It was also observed that the foliar application of fertilisers contributed to the grain yield stability in the genotype ZP 580. .
AB  - Cilj istraživanja bio je da se odredi uticaj folijarne ishrane u stresnim uslovima na prinos zrna dva hibrida kukuruza (ZP 580 i ZP 735). Ispitivani hibridi pripadaju različitim grupama zrenja (ZP 580 - FAO 500 i ZP 735 - FAO 700). Hibridi su stay-green tipa, te su pogodni i za spremanje visokokvalitetne silaže. Za tretiranje su korišćena dva folijarna hraniva (humikal univerzal i ferticare I). Ogled je izveden u uslovima prirodnog vodnog režima, na lokaciji Surduk, tokom 2002. i 2003. godine. Folijarna ishrana pokazala se kao uspešan metod za poboljšanje prinosa zrna kod oba hibrida kukuruza u obe godine istraživanja. Viši prinosi postignuti su primenom ferticare I nego primenom humikal univerzala. Hibrid ZP 735 ispoljio je veću produktivnost u povoljnijoj 2002. godini, dok je hibrid ZP 580, sa kraćim vegetacionim periodom, obrazovao viši prinos zrna u sušnoj 2003. godini. Folijarna ishrana doprinela je stabilnosti prinosa zrna hibrida ZP 580. .

AB  - Investigation have been presents an contribution to researching of controlled and non-controlled factors of viability of potatoes seed-tubers. Also, in way of metodology brushing, measuring and estimation of parameters of life viability of potato seed-tubers (characteristic). Researches have been done on potatoes seed-tubers cultivar of Kondor. Seed material of two generation is comprised: category A and category B. Experimental production of seed material have been done during two year vegetation period (2000 and 2001) on three location (Kotraža, Sjenica and Golija). Keeping of seed-tubers in cold condition lasted about 100 days. Then seed material has been exposed to thermal induction, after that is removed of apical germ of tuber and seed material have been exposed to dark and light phase with adequate temperature regimes. Following characteristics were brushing and measured on (seed tubers): number of germ per tuber, germ plumpness per tuber, germ length per tuber and number of leaves per tuber. Characteristics of seed tubers have been researched from 7 day after beginning of dark phase. Characteristics such as number of germ, germ plumpness, germ length and were researching on 7th an 14th days (in dark phase) and 21st, 28th and 35th days (in light phase). Previously, seed material has been controlled on healthy state. Experimental data are calculated with three factorial analyze variance (for factors: seed category, production location and year-vegetation period) for each category separately and for each term of characteristics brushing. Among category exist clear difference are in the way of seed value characteristics as different statistical significance of factor and interaction for number of germ, plumpness of germ and length of germ and. For the characteristic number leaves per tuber there is no statistical significance for none of factor or interactions at both cultivars in all three terms. Results are applicable in seed tubers production of cultivar Kondor.
AB  - Izvršena istraživanja predstavljaju prilog proučavanja uticaja kontrolisanih i nekontrolisanih faktora na životnu sposobnost semenskih krtola krompira. Takođe, i u pogledu metodologije utvrđivanja, merenja i ocenjivanja pokazatelja životne sposobnosti semenskih krtola krompira (osobina). Istraživanja su vršena na semenskim krtolama sorte Desiree. Obuhvaćen je semenski materijal dve generacije: original i I sortna reprodukcija. Eksperimentalna proizvodnja semenskog materijala izvršena je tokom dve godine-vegetaciona perioda (2000. i 2001) na tri lokacije (Kotraža, Sjenica i Golija). Čuvanje semenskih krtola u hladnim uslovima trajalo je oko 100 dana. Zatim je semenski materijal izlagan termičkoj indukciji nakon čega su uklonjene apikalne klice sa krtola. Posle toga semenske krtole su izložene tamnoj i svetloj fazi ispitivanja uz odgovarajuće temperaturne režime. Na materijalu (semenskin krtolama) utvrđivane su i merene sledeće osobine: broj klica po krtoli, debljina klica po krtoli, dužina klica po krtoli i broj listova po krtoli. Osobine semenskih krtola ispitivane su od sedmog dana posle početka tamne faze. Osobine broj klica, debljina i dužina klica ispitivane su 7 i 14 dana (u tamnoj fazi) i 21, 28 i 35 dana (u svetloj fazi). Broj listova ispitivan je 21, 28 i 35 dana (u svetloj fazi. Semenski materijal je predhodno kontrolisan na zdravstveno stanje. Eksperimentalni podaci obrađeni su trofaktorijalnom analizom varijanse (faktori: kategorija semena, lokacija proizvodnje i godina vegetcioni period) posebno za svaku kategoriju i termin utvrđivanja osobina. Između kategorija ispoljene su jasne razlike u pogledu vrednosti osobina semenskih krtola kao i različita statistička značajnost faktora i interakcija za broj klica, debljinu klica i dužinu klica. Za osobinu broj listova po krtoli nemaju statističku značajnost ni jedan faktor ili interakcije kod obe kategorije u sva tri termina. Rezultati su primenjivi u semenarstvu krompira sorte Desiree. .

AB  - In this paper the results of quality wheat and final products are shown that depends on genetics' composition of cultivar, ecologic condition, the way of growing and from the factors that result interpreting wheat in form the final product. Knowledge of chemical or biochemical composition of grain of wheat as relations some qualitative parameters successfully directed the processes and operations products from wheat-final products. For wheat determinating of particular importance are: carbo hydrate-starch, proteins (glutenins, gliadines, albumines and globulines) lipids and multyenzymes systems (the presence of more different enzymes group as amylase complex, proteinase and peptidase, lipase and lipooksi­genase and some oksidoreductase).

The influence temperature regimes on germination grain the sweet corn

AB  - This paper deals with effect of two temperature regimes on two seed fractions (flat and round) and four fractions of seed size (small, medium small, medium large and large) of two sweet corn hybrids, ZP SC 401su and ZP SC 504su. Following morphological physiological characteristics, i.e. dry seed before germination (m0), whole dry seed after germination (ms), dry endosperm after germination (me), dry seedling after germination and dry weight loss during the germination and total germination were determined before germination on different temperatures t1-20/30oC (16/8 h) and t2-10oC (eight days). Results show that seeds of different fractions had different germination speed under different temperature regime. In addition, hybrids were also affected by modified temperature conditions. According to these findings, a dynamic of successive sweet corn sowing could be determined.
AB  - U radu je proučavan uticaj dve temperaturne vrednosti na klijavost dve frakcije (pljosnato i okruglo) i četiri veličine semena (sitno, srednje-sitno, srednje-krupno i krupno) dva hibrida kukuruza šećerca, ZP SC 401su i ZPSC 504su. Pre ispitivanja klijavosti na temperaturnim vrednostima t1-20/300C (naizmenično 16/8 časova) i t2-100Cconst (osam dana) određene su mu sledeće morfološko-fiziološke osobine: suvo seme pre klijanja (m0), suvo celo seme posle klijanja (ms), suvi endosperm posle klijanja (me), suva klica posle klijanja (mk) i gubitak suve mase pri klijanju (Δm) i ukupna klijavost. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da semena različitih frakcija različito reaguju brzinom klijanja u izmenjenim toplotnim uslovima. Pored toga, i hibridi su, takođe, različito reagovali na pojedine toplotne tretmane. Na osnovu ovih saznanja može se odrediti i dinamika sukcesivne setve kukuruza šećerca.

AB  - Investigation have been presents an contribution to researching of controlled and non-controlled factors on viability of potatoes seed-tubers. Also, in way of metodology brushing, measuring and estimation of parameters of life viability of potato seed-tubers (characteristic). Researches have been done on potato seed-tubers of Desiree and Kondor cultivars. Seed material of two generation is comprised: Original and ICR. Experimental production of seed material have been done during two year vegetation period (2000 and 2001) on three location (Kotraza, Sjenica, Golija). Keeping of seed-tuberss in cold condition lasted about 100 days. Then seed-material has been exposed to thermal induction. After thermal induction and cutting of apical germ of tuber, material have been exposed to dark and light phase with adequate temperature regimes. Following characteristics were brushing and measured on (seed-tubers): number of germ per tuber, germ length per tuber, germ plumpness per tuber, number of leaves per tuber. Characteristics of seed-tubers have been researched from 7 day after beginning of dark phase. Characteristics such as number of germ, germ length and germ plumpness were researching on 7th and 14th days (in dark phase) and 21st, 28th and 35th days (in light phase). Number of leaves were researching 21st, 28th and 35th days (in light phase). Previously, seed material has been controlled on healthy state. Experimental data are calculated with three factorial analyze variance (for factors: seed category, production location and year-vegetation period) for each cultivar separately and for each term of characteristics brushing. Among cultivars clear and large difference are sawn in the way of seed value characteristics as different statistical significance of factor and interaction for number of germ, length of germ and plumpness of germ. For the characteristic number of leaves per tuber there is no statistical significance for none of factor or interactions at both cultivars in all three terms. Results are applicable in seed-tubers production of cultivars Desiree and Kondor.
AB  - Izvršena istraživana predstavljaju prilog proučavanja uticaja kontrolisanih i nekontrolisanih faktora na životnu sposobnost semenskih krtola krompira. Takođe, i u pogledu metodologije utvrđivanja, merenja i ocenjivanja pokazatelja životne sposobnosti semenskih krtola krompira (osobina). Istraživanja su vršena na semenskim krtolama krompira sorata Desiree i Kondor. Obuhvaćen je semenski materijal dve generacije: original i I sortna reprodukcija. Eksperimentalna proizvodnja semenskog materijala izvršena je tokom dve godine-vegetaciona perioda (2000. i 2001) na tri lokacije (Kotraža, Sjenica, Golija). Čuvanje semenskih krtola u hladnim uslovima trajalo je oko 100 dana. Zatim je semenski materijal izlagan termičkoj indukciji. Posle termičke indukcije i uklanjanja apikalne klice sa krtole, materijal je izlagan tamnoj i svetloj fazi-uz odgovarajuće temperaturne režime. Na materijalu (semenskim krtolama) utvrđivane su i merene sledeće osobine: broj klica po krtoli, dužina klica po krtoli, debljina klica po krtoli, broj listova po krtoli. Osobine semenskih krtola ispitivane su od sedmog dana posle početka tamne faze. Osobine broj klica, dužina klica i debljina klica ispitivane su 7. i 14.dana (u tamnoj fazi) i 21, 28. i 35. dana (u svetloj fazi). Broj listova ispitivan je 21, 28. i 31. dana (u svetloj fazi). Semenski materijal je predhodno kontrolisan na zdravstveno stanje. Eksperimentalni podaci obrađeni su trofaktorijalnom analizom varijanse (faktori: kategorija semena, lokacija proizvodnje i godina-vegetacioni period)za svaku sortu posebno i za svaki termin utvrđivanja osobina. Između sorata su ispoljene jasne i velike razlike u pogledu vrednosti osobina semenskih krtola kao i različita statistička značajnost faktora i interakcija za broj klica, dužinu klica i debljinu klica. Za osobinu broj listova po krtoli nemaju statističku značajnost ni jedan faktor ili interakcije kod obe sorte u sva tri termina. Rezultati su primenjivi u semenarstvu krompira sorata Desiree i Kondor.

Age of planted Echinacea purpurea: The factor of seed yield and quality

AB  - Results for yield and quality of echinacea purpurea seed obtained from age of plants one, two, three, four and five year are presented. In the laboratory experiments germination energy (GE), total germination (TG) and weight seed was examined. The highest yield of seed was achieved in three-year echinacea purpurea plants, and the lowest yield was achieved in one-year plants. Age of planted established influence significant on total germination. This parametar the highest of seed in three-year plants and the lowest of seed in five-year echinacea purpurea plants. The highest of germination energy of seed established for the seed deriving from three-year echinacea purpurea planted, and the lowest in one-year plants. The absolute mass of seeds the highest in one-year plants, and the lowest for the seed deriving from five-year echinacea purpurea planted.
AB  - Dati su rezultati ispitivanja prinosa i kvaliteta semena ehinacee sakupljenog sa zasada starog jednu, dve, tri, četiri i pet godina. Pored ukupne klijavosti (UK) ispitivane su i energija klijanja (EK) i masa semena. Najveći prinos semena ostvaren je na zasadu starom tri godine, a najmanji na zasadu starosti jedne godine. Starost zasada imala je značajnog uticaja na ukupnu klijavost, tako da je ovaj parametar bio najveći kod semena sa trogodišnjeg zasada a najmanji kod semena sa petogodišnjeg zasada. Najbolju energiju klijanja imalo je seme trogodišnjeg zasada, a najslabiju jednogodišnjeg. U pogledu apsolutne mase seme jednogodišnjeg zasada imalo je najbolju vrednost, a najslabiju seme petogodišnjeg zasada.

AB  - Three cultivars (domestic K-13 diploid and K-29 tetraploid, and introduced Tetraflorum tetraploid) were investigated in two years trials, with and without spring N-fertilizing. The results of this investigation showed that successful production of Italian ryegrass seed could be achieved with two cuttings in first production year. Spring N-application did not influence the seed yield of the domestic Italian ryegrass cultivars, nor introduced tetraploid. Produced seed was of an excellent quality, with total germination above 90%. On the basis of obtained results it may be concluded that investigated Italian ryegrass cultivars have high seed production potential (2733 kg ha-1, cv. K-29); in temperate years the Italian ryegrass could realize 2 seed harvests; high seed production of Italian ryegrass could be obtained without spring N-application in Serbian conditions.
AB  - Tokom dvogodišnjih istraživanja (2003-2005) izvedeni su ogledi sa tri sorte italijanskog ljulja, različitog porekla i ploidnosti: domaći diploid K-13,domaći tetraploid K-29 i slovenački tetraploid Tetraflorum. Ispitivana je mogućnost proizvodnje kvalitetnog semena italijanskog ljulja (Lolium italicum) iz prve godine u dve žetve. Takođe, ispitivan je i kvalitet semena pod uticajem prolećne prihrane semenskog useva azotom. U okviru dve žetve po godini upoređivan je prinos i kvalitet semena iz prvog i drugog otkosa kao i po godinama preko najvažnijih elemenata kvaliteta: mase 1000 semena, energije klijanja i ukupne klijavosti. Dobijeni su visoki prinosi semena (2733 kg/ha) iz dva otkosa, visoke energije klijanja i ukupne klijavosti preko 90%.

AB  - The effect of the duration of storage, that is age leaf-parsley seed on major parameters of their quality. Investigated 30-days old seed (investigated in 1998), one year old seed (investigated in 1999) and two year old seed (investigated in 2000) was collected in 1998. Investigations were carried out for each investigation year in Petri dishes on filter paper in 10 repetitions with 100 seeds in each repetition. It was established that the increase of age of leaf-parsley rapidly and significantly reduces germination energy and total germination.
AB  - Analiziran je uticaj dužine čuvanja, odnosno starosti semena peršuna lišćara na najvažnije parametre njegovog kvaliteta. Ispitivano je seme sakupljeno 1998 godine i to staro 30 dana (ispitivano 1998.), staro jednu godinu (ispitivano 1999.) i staro dve godine (ispitivano 2000.). Ispitivanja su obavljena za svaku godinu posmatranja u petri posudama na filter papiru u 10 ponavljanja od po 100 semena u svakom ponavljanju. Pokazalo se da se sa starošću semena peršuna lišćara veoma brzo i u značajnom procentu smanjuje energija klijanja i ukupno klijanje.

In this paper we investigated the effect of high temperature and high humidity on seed rate imbibition for five corn hybrids. Seeds were placed at the temperature of 41°C and 95-100% relative humidity (treatment). These seeds were compared with control. Seeds were hydrated at 12°C and 20°C fur 6, 12, 24, 48 h. The highest imbibition rate was shown by ZP SC 599 hybrid seed. The lowest imbibition rate was shown by ZP SC 599 hybrid seed. The seed treated at 12°C had the lowest imbibition rate. At 20°C differences in imbibition rate were lower than at 12°C.
AB  - Temperatura je važan ekološki činilac koji utiče na usvajanje vode kod semena. U ovom raduje ispitivano dejstvo visokih temperatura i vlage na brzinu bubrenja semena pet hibrida kukuruza. Seme je podvrgnuto temperaturi od 41°C i relativnoj vlažnosti vazduha od 95-100% (tretman). Ono je upoređeno sa kontrolom. Seme je stavljeno na bubrenje na 12 i 20°C tokom 6, 12, 24, 48 sati. Najveću brzinu bubrenja pokazuje seme hibrida ZP SC 599. Najnižu brzinu usvajanja vode pokazuje ZP TC 196. Najnižu brzinu bubrenja semena je imalo tretirano seme na 12°C.
