AB  - This paper deals with effect of two temperature regimes on two seed fractions (flat and round) and four fractions of seed size (small, medium small, medium large and large) of two sweet corn hybrids, ZP SC 401su and ZP SC 504su. Following morphological physiological characteristics, i.e. dry seed before germination (m0), whole dry seed after germination (ms), dry endosperm after germination (me), dry seedling after germination and dry weight loss during the germination and total germination were determined before germination on different temperatures t1-20/30oC (16/8 h) and t2-10oC (eight days). Results show that seeds of different fractions had different germination speed under different temperature regime. In addition, hybrids were also affected by modified temperature conditions. According to these findings, a dynamic of successive sweet corn sowing could be determined.
AB  - U radu je proučavan uticaj dve temperaturne vrednosti na klijavost dve frakcije (pljosnato i okruglo) i četiri veličine semena (sitno, srednje-sitno, srednje-krupno i krupno) dva hibrida kukuruza šećerca, ZP SC 401su i ZPSC 504su. Pre ispitivanja klijavosti na temperaturnim vrednostima t1-20/300C (naizmenično 16/8 časova) i t2-100Cconst (osam dana) određene su mu sledeće morfološko-fiziološke osobine: suvo seme pre klijanja (m0), suvo celo seme posle klijanja (ms), suvi endosperm posle klijanja (me), suva klica posle klijanja (mk) i gubitak suve mase pri klijanju (Δm) i ukupna klijavost. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da semena različitih frakcija različito reaguju brzinom klijanja u izmenjenim toplotnim uslovima. Pored toga, i hibridi su, takođe, različito reagovali na pojedine toplotne tretmane. Na osnovu ovih saznanja može se odrediti i dinamika sukcesivne setve kukuruza šećerca.

AB  - Investigation about effect of high amounts of nitrogen and source of nitrogen on maize organic production was conducted on Agriculture faculty experimental field in Radmilovac. Object of research was hybrid ZP 434. Four variants of nitrogen nutrition were applied: 50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 150 kg/ha 200 kg/ha and control. Second factor was two source of nitrogen ammonium-nitrate (KAN) and carbamide (Urea). Results showed that application of high amounts of nitrogen on soil with 0.17% of this nutrient had significant effect on maize plants, morphological characteristics productivity and nutritive value of grain. Effect of two different sources of nitrogen was influenced by water regime during growing period. Under conditions of better water regime Urea was more suitable for plant nutrition while effect of KAH was better under unfavorable water regime.
AB  - Dvogodišnja istraživanja uticaja povećanih količina i oblika azota na organsku produkciju kukuruza izvedena su na Školskom dobru Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Radmilovcu. Predmet proučavanja bio je hibrid kukuruza ZP 434. Obuhvaćene su četiri varijante ishrane kukuruza azotom 50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha 150 kg/ha i 200 kg/ha aktivne materije i kontrola. Drugi faktor bila su dva oblik azotnih soli: krečni amonijumnitrat (KAN) i karbamid, odnosno diamid ugljene kiseline (Ureja). Rezultati ovih istraživanja pokazali su da na zemljištu srednje obezbeđenom azotom (0,17%) ovaj biogeni elemenat u povećanim količinama značajno utiče na morfološke i produktivne osobine biljaka, kao i na hranljivu vrednost zrna kukuruza. Oblik azotnih hraniva takođe, je uticao na ove vrednosti, ali je efekat Ureje, odnosno KAN-a bio različit pri različitom vodnom režimu. U uslovima povoljnijeg rasporeda padavina Ureja je bila pogodnija za ishranu biljaka, a KAN u godini sa nepovoljnijim vodnim režimom.

Object of research was hybrid ZP 434. Four variants of nitrogen nutrition were applied: 50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 150 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha and control. Second factor was two source of nitrogen: amonium-nitrate (KAN) and karbamid (Urea). Results showed that application of high amounts of nitrogen on soil with 0,17% of this nutrient had significant effect on maize plants morphological characteristics and productivity and chemical properties of grain. Effect of two different sources of nitrogen was influenced by water regime during growing period. Under conditions of better water regime Urea was more suitable for plant nutrition, while effect of KAN was better under unfourable water regime.
AB  - Dvogodišnja istraživanja uticaja povećanih količina i oblika azota na prinos i kvalitet zrna kukuruza izvedena su na Školskom dobru Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Radmilovcu. Predmet proučavanja bio je hibrid kukuruza ZP 434. Obuhvaćene su četiri varijante ishrane kukuruza azotom 50 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 150 kg/ha i 200 kg/ha aktivne materije i kontrola. Drugi faktor bila su dva oblika azotnih soli: krečni amonijumnitrat (KAN) i karbamid, odnosno diamid ugljene kiseline (Urea). Rezultati ovih istraživanja pokazali su da na zemljištu srednje obezbeđenom azotom (0,17%) ovaj biogeni elemenat u povećanim količinama značajno utiče na morfološke i produktivne osobine biljaka i na hemijski sastav zrna kukuruza. Na promene morfoloških osobina, na produktivnost i hemijski sastav zrna uticaj oblika upotrebljenih azotnih hraniva zavisio je od vodnog režima tokom vegetacionog perioda kukuruza. U uslovima povoljnijeg rasporeda padavina Urea je bila pogodnija za ishranu biljaka, a KAN u godini sa nepovoljnijim vodnim režimom.
