AB  - This study investigates the effects of ultrasound, in combination with chemical pretreatments, on the quality attributes (total phenolic and carotenoid content, antioxidant activity (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl assay (DPPH)), ferric-reducing ability (FRAP), CIE L* a* b* color, non-enzymatic browning, rehydration ratio, textural and morphological properties) of red pepper subjected to drying (hot air drying or freeze drying). The fractional factorial design was used to assess the impact of factors. The global Derringer desirability function was used to determine the optimal conditions for the best quality attributes of dried pepper. The drying method influenced total phenolic content, a* (redness), and initial rehydration ratio; pretreatment time significantly affected FRAP antiradical activity, a*, chroma and non-browning index, while pH-value had a significant effect on the texture of dried pepper. Non-enzymatic browning was reduced to 72.6%, while the DPPH antioxidant capacity of freeze-dried peppers was enhanced from 4.2% to 71.9%. Ultrasonic pretreatment led to changes in the pepper morphology, while potassium metabisulfite (KMS) was a more effective additive than citric acid.

Kinetic Parameters Identification of Conductive Enhanced Hot Air Drying Process of Food Waste

AB  - The efficient utilization of waste from food industry is possible after thermal treatment of the material. This treatment should be economically feasible and compromise the energy efficient drying process. The main goal of this investigation is to determine drying characteristics of nectarine pomace as a waste from food industry. The measurements were performed in an experimental dryer by combined conductive-convective drying method with disk-shaped samples of 5, 7, and 10 mm thickness and 100 mm in diameter at the air temperatures of 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70°C, hot plate temperatures of 50, 60, and 70°C and air velocity of 1.5 m/s. The drying curves were compared to a few semi-theoretical mathematical models. The Logarithmic model showed the best correlation. On the basis of experiments, it is determined that the drying process takes place in a falling rate period and it is accepted that the main mechanism of moisture removal is diffusion. The effective coefficient of diffusion was determined using experimental results by calculating the slope of the drying curves. Drying time and equilibrium moisture are determined for each experiment. Analysis of drying curves showed that the conductive-enhanced drying method reduces drying times and increases the diffusivity coefficient. The character of drying rate curves for conductiveenhanced drying was analysed and compared with pure convective drying of nectarine pomace.

The Influence of the Application Technique and Amount of Liquid Starter Fertilizer on Corn Yield

AB  - The aim of this research was to study the impact of application technique and rate of liquid starter fertilizer applied with a novel device on the production of corn. Starter fertilizer was applied in the root system range of freshly germinated plants in the 'belt' and 'point' forms at different quantities (35, 50, 70, and 100 L ha(-1)), which led to intensive plant growth in the initial stages of development. This adapted system was used for sowing and for application of the liquid starter fertilizer at the same time. The field trial was set up at two sites (two different land types), in the conditions of the natural water regime of the soil during the three vegetation seasons in the period 2016-2018. For this purpose, a prototype of the electronic device EUKU-01 was designed. The starter fertilizer was applied at 5 cm laterally from the row where the sowing was performed and 5 cm below the depth at which the corn seeds were sown. Data were statistically analyzed by two-factor analysis of variance, where the influence of mineral fertilizer treatment and the influence of liquid starter fertilizer treatment were observed as factors. The results showed that the optimal choice of the technique of liquid starter fertilizer application can result in fertilizer savings by 30% without reducing yield.

Mapping treatments of chemical protection in barley production by using the precision agriculture technology

AB  - Chemical protection is an indispensable agro-technical step in all segments of conventional agricultural production. The significance of proper chemical protection is large for the quality and yield of cultivated culture, as is the financial costs that this measure has in the structure of total costs. The established technique of control, monitoring the quality of work and the efficiency of plant protection machines in crop production has numerous shortcomings. Different techniques of precision agriculture enable us to record and detect critical points in various production processes, so similar techniques can be applied in the control of chemical protection of barley. In this paper, a location database of actual flows of sprinklers that used chemical treatments in barley was used. On a plot of 52 ha, the deviation from the specified treatment rate by more than 10% was performed at 3.61 ha. It was found that the achieved norm of treatment when using the same aggregate, depends significantly on the operator itself, where the deviations in individual treatments and over 100%. Significant deviations in treatment standards have been identified that also significantly affect the cost of consumed chemicals, where the recommended standards have been exceeded in the chemical protection of barley production on over 454 ha, which increased the cost of used chemicals by 10.33%.
AB  - Hemijska zaštita je nezaobilazna agrotehnička mera u svim segmentima konvencionalne poljoprivredne proizvodnje. Značaj pravilnog izvođenja hemijske zaštite na kvalitet i prinos gajenih useva je veliki, isto kao i finansijski troškovi koja ova mera ima u strukturi ukupnih troškova. Ustaljena tehnika kontrole, praćenje kvaliteta rada i efikasnosti mašina za zaštitu bilja u ratarskoj proizvodnji ima brojne nedostatke. Različite tehnike precizne poljoprivrede NAM omogućavaju evidentiranje i detekciju kritičnih tačaka u različitim proizvodnim procesima, pa se slične tehnike mogu primeniti u kontroli hemijske zaštite ječma. U ovom radu je korišćena lokacijski notirana baza podataka ostvarenih protoka prskalica koje su radila hemijski tretmane u ječmu. Na parceli veličine 52 ha, odstupanje od zadate norme tretiranja, za više od 10%, je obavljeno na 3,61 ha. Utvrđeno je da ostvarena norma tretiranja, prilikom korišćenja istog agregata, u značajnoj meri zavisi od samog rukovaoca, gde su odstupanja u pojedinim tretmanima i preko 100%. Utvrđena su značajna odstupanja u normama tretiranja koja značajno utiču na cenu koštanja utrošenih hemijskih sredstava, gde su u hemijskoj zaštiti ječma na preko 454 ha prekoračene zadate norme, što je povećalo troškove upotrebljenih hemijskih sredstava za 10,33%.

TECHNICAL ACCURACY OF ORCHARD SPRAYER USED IN INTENSIVE FRUIT AND VINEYARD PRODUCTION IN REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

AB  - The technical accuracy of the machine is a prerequisite for the effective
implementation of chemical protection in fruit and grapevine production. The paper
presents the results obtained during the control testing of 50 different models of
orchard sprayers, with different period of exploitation in growers throughout Serbia
that are used in intensive fruit and grapevine production. During the control testing, a
large number of parameters were monitored, using standardized methods and test
procedures. Comparison of the obtained data was applied to four groups of orchard
sprayers (defined by the period of the exploitation). The technical accuracy of the
individual orchard sprayer is expressed by the coefficient of the technical correctness
(Cta) according to individual marks of the tested parameters of orchard sprayers.
Out of the total number of investigated orchard sprayers, 12% of the orchard sprayers
are in exploitation for less than three years, while the largest number of orchard
sprayers, and 42% is in exploitation for seven years or more. The technical accuracy of
Group 1 orchard sprayers was sufficiently high, except for the parameters related to
the Measuring regulatory system (Cta = 0.80) and the Nozzles (Cta = 0.86). In Group 2,
a decrease in the coefficient of technical accuracy in all parameters was observed with
respect to the sprayers from Group 1, which was particularly pronounced for Agitators

implementation of chemical protection in fruit and grapevine production. The paper
presents the results obtained during the control testing of 50 different models of
orchard sprayers, with different period of exploitation in growers throughout Serbia
that are used in intensive fruit and grapevine production. During the control testing, a
large number of parameters were monitored, using standardized methods and test
procedures. Comparison of the obtained data was applied to four groups of orchard
sprayers (defined by the period of the exploitation). The technical accuracy of the
individual orchard sprayer is expressed by the coefficient of the technical correctness
(Cta) according to individual marks of the tested parameters of orchard sprayers.
Out of the total number of investigated orchard sprayers, 12% of the orchard sprayers
are in exploitation for less than three years, while the largest number of orchard
sprayers, and 42% is in exploitation for seven years or more. The technical accuracy of
Group 1 orchard sprayers was sufficiently high, except for the parameters related to
the Measuring regulatory system (Cta = 0.80) and the Nozzles (Cta = 0.86). In Group 2,
a decrease in the coefficient of technical accuracy in all parameters was observed with
respect to the sprayers from Group 1, which was particularly pronounced for Agitators
(Cta = 0.50) and Nozzles (Cta = 0.68). The orchard sprayers from Group 3 are

AB  - Uspešno izvođenje hemijske zaštite zavisi od dva glavna faktora. Prvi faktor se
odnosi na izbor preparata i njegova primena u adekvatno vreme, dok drugi faktor se odnosi na
ispravnost delova mašina koja se koriste za aplikaciju zaštitne tečnosti, odnosno orošivača.
Ispravnost elemenata orošivača, odgovarajuća podešenost (kalibrisanost) i pravilan izbor
rasprskivača imaju veliki uticaj na pravilnu funkcionalnost elemenata orošivača. Tehnička
ispravnost rasprskivača preduslov je za efikasnu aplikaciju zaštitne tečnosti, a time i finansijsku
uštedu, kao i zaštitu okoline. U našoj praksi poseban problem predstavlja činjenica da proizvođači
ne izvrašavaju redovnu godišnju kontrolu kako samih rasprskivača tako i ostalih elemenata
orošivača.
U radu je prikazana uporedna analiza više tipova orošivača, koji poseduju isti tip
rasprskivača, ali različitog fabričkog deklarisanog protoka. Testirano je 25. orošivača koji su
podeljeni u četri grupe prema perioda eksploatacije. U okviru I grupe orošivača rasprskivači su u
granicama fabrički deklarisanog protoka (100% ispravni), dok IV grupa orošivača ima polovinu
rasprskivača (50% neispravni) za zamenu. Ovo istraživanje pokazuje da je dužina eksploatacije
značajno uticala na tehničku ispravnost rasprskivača. Kako bi u praksi bilo što više orošivača sa
rasprskivačima koji zadovoljavaju norme tehničke ispravnosti koje propisuje standard EN 13790,
potrebno je redovno vršiti kontrolu tehničke ispravnosti rasprskivača, ali i ostalih elemenata
orošivača od strane samih korisnika, a periodično i kontrolu od strane ovlašćenih laboratorija.
AB  - The successful implementation of chemical protection depends on two main factors.
The first factor relates to the selection of the compound and its application in adequate time, while
the second factor relates to the technical functionality of the parts of the machines used for the
application of the protective liquid, i.e. the nozzle. The technical functionality of the sprayer
elements, the proper tuning (calibration) and the correct selection of the nozzle all have a great
influence on the proper functionality of the sprayer elements. The proper technical functionality of
the sprayer is a prerequisite for the effective application of the protective liquid, for the financial
savings and the environmental protection as well as. In our practice, a particular problem is the fact
that agricultural producers do not perform regular annual controls on both the nozzles themselves
and the other elements of the sprayers.
This paper presents a comparative analysis of several types of sprayers, which have the same
type of nozzles, but with different factory declared flow. 25 sprayers were tested and divided into
four groups according to the exploitation period. In the first group of sprayers the nozzles were
within the factory declared flow rate (100% correct), while the fourth group of sprayers had half of
the nozzles (50% defective) for replacement. This research shows that the length of the exploitation

AB  - The paper analyzes the possibility and the needs for the use of specific types of robots (mini unmanned aircraft with different designs and the designation of UAVs) and the possibility of using in agriculture (agrodrone). The year 2015 was proclaimed (Fortune Magazine, 2016) as the year of increasing and widespread use of UAVs in various areas of human activity, especially in agriculture and forestry (75% of use). This is important for large farm areas, where UAV has many useful functions and a very cost-effective commercial application. Today, the needs for UAVs have increased sharply with various opportunities for both civilian and military needs. There is also a significant interest in the development of new drones that can autonomously fly in different environments and locations and can perform various missions and tasks. Over the past decade, a wide range of applications for drones has gained the significance that led to the discovery of various types of unmanned UAVs of different sizes and weights. In this review, the classification of UAVs ranging based on a detailed overview of the development of the drone industry in recent years, this paper demonstrates the evolution of drones and differents application technologies. Of course, this development is very advanced and revolutionary, as well as the development of mobile and smart phones and the Internet, which will open the way for many users to participate in defining the future of UAV implementation. LIVONA Company, Belgrade, Serbia (and Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, in tehnical cooperation) has a study and plans on the implementation of the model micro drone EBee SQ Livona RTK in the future general plans for inspection of protection Soils of territory Minicipality of Stara Pazova (351 km2), and agricultural company Napredak, and exspecially plans for soils of agriculture of R. Serbia. VEKOM GeoCompany from Belgrade, (in cooperation with Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade), has a study and plans on the implementation of the model of the drone Aibot KX6 model, in the future of application of agricultural soils of region Open pit Kolubara for area from app. 600 km2 and the other soils of Region). Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, in cooperation with Municipality of Ub, has a study and plans on the implementation of the model micro drone Hubsan H109S X4 PRO in the future plans general inspection of protection Soils and Waters of territory of Municipality Ub (456 km2).
AB  - U radu su analizirane mogućnosti i potrebe upotrebe specifičnih vrsta robota (mini bespilotnih letelica sa različitim dizajnom, o značane kao UAV) i način korištenja u poljoprivredi (agrodron). Časopis Fortune je 2015.godinu proglasio kao godinu sve većeg i široko rasprostranjene upotrbe UAV letelica, u različitim oblastima ljudske delatnosti, posebno u poljoprivredi i šumarstvu (75% upotrebe). Ovo je naročito važno za velike farme i oblasti pod šumama, gde UAV ima mnogo korisnih funkcija i veoma isplative komercijalne aplikacije. Danas, potrebe za UAV imaju nagli porast sa različitim mogućnostima kako za civilne tako i za vojne potrebe. Takođe postoji značajan interes za razvoj novih bespilotnih letelica koji mogu autonomno leteti u različitim okruženjima i lokacijama i obaviti različite misije i zadatke. Tokom protekle decenije XXI veka, širok spektar aplikacija za bespilotne letelice je dobio značaj koji je doveo do konstrukcija različitih tipova bespilotnih UAV, različitih veličina i težina i svakako namene. Naravno , tehnološki razvoj kod dron sistema je veoma tehničko -tehnološki napredan i revolucionaran, uz razvoj mobilnih i pametnih (android) telefona i interneta, brzo otvora puteve i mogućnosti za mnoge korisnike u definisanju nove budućnosti implementacije UAV različitim oblastima primene. Kompanija Livona d.o.o., Beograd i Institut za poljoprivrednu tehniku, Poljoprivredni fakultet u Beogradu, u tehničkoj saradnji imaju planove o implementaciji modela mikro drona EBee SK Livona RTK u narednim generalnim planovima za inspekciju, zaštitu i korišćenje poljoprivrednih zemljišta Republike Srbije, i posebno teritorije Opštine Stara Pazova (351 km2), gde je posebno mesto poljoprivrednog preduzeća Napredak a.d. VekomGeo d.o.o, Beograd u saradnji sa Institutom za poljoprivrednu tehniku Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Beogradu ima planove o budućoj upotrebi drona model Aibot X6, za nadzor na površinama od 600 km2 (i poljoprivredna zemljišta) otvorenog kopa R.B. Kolubara ili drugih objekata. AB  - This study deals with the manufacturing process of compost production, followed by the release of large amounts of heat. The wheat straw and manure of broilers were the basic components of the raw mixture, monitored during the 80 h period. The simplified assessment method was developed along with suitable mathematical model. The potential for recovery of the heat released to the surroundings was evaluated indirectly based on compost temperature measurements during the one full production cycle. Temperature- time mathematical model was developed and used as time indicator for the analysis of distribution of energy that was generated in exothermic processes. The emissions of N ( lt  1% dry basis) and C through CO2 (similar to 3% dry basis) was neglected in mass balances. During composting treatment material temperatures were in range 80 +/- 2 degrees C, making it a reliable heat source of constant temperature. The amount of total generated heat during the 80 h time period was calculated to be 1325 kJ center dot 10(6), of which 76.4% was released to surroundings. The specific value of generated heat was 1.32 kJ g(-1) of raw mixture, of which 1.01 kJ g(-1) was available for recovery. The results pointed to the existence of significant amounts of released energy available for recovering.

Drying kinetics and shrinkage analysis of Valeriana officinalis roots

AB  - Drying kinetics and shrinkage of valerian plant root (Valeriana officinalis) was investigated during the convective hot air dryer with forced convection mode. Whole root without cutting, root cut into quarters, and root cut into 2 mm thin slices were used in drying experiments. Initial moisture content of roots was 51.2±0.3% and roots were considered to be dry when they lost 68% of the fresh weight and reached the moisture content of 10%. Drying air temperature was set to be 40 and 50°C, air velocity at 1 m/s. The relative humidity of drying air was not controlled and it depended on surroundings. The experimental results were fitted to the five thin layer drying models and according to the non-linear regression analysis Page model was most suitable to describe the drying kinetics. The characteristic drying curves were created for each experimental set and they showed that the samples' preparation strongly influenced the drying process and drying time. Experiments to determine shrinkage of different cell structures of valerian root were carried out for raw material, as well as for dried samples, by using optical and electron microscopy observations and measurements. It was observed that shrinkage processes are significantly dependent of the type of cell tissue and drying air temperature.
AB  - Istraživanje kinetike sušenja i analiza skupljanja biomaterijala korenja lekovitog bilja Valeriana officinalis izvršeno je na konvektivnoj sušari sa vrućim vazduhom kao agensom sušenja. U eksperimentima su korišćeni uzorci: ceo koren, koren sečen na četvrtine i koren sečen na uzorke debljine 2 mm. Početni sadržaj vlage u uzorcima iznosio je 51.2±0.3%, a uzorak se smatrao suvim onda kada sadržaj vlage opadne na 10%. Temperatura vazduha u sušari iznosila je 40 i 50oC, sa brzinom strujanja od 1 m/s. Relativna vlažnost vazduha koji dospeva na materijal nije kontrolisana i zavisila je od spoljnih uslova. Eksperimentalni rezultati su analizirani kroz pet najčešće korišćenih modela za opisivanje promene bezdimenzionog sadržaja vlage u vremenu kod sušenja u tankom sloju, pri čemu je ustanovljeno da se kinetika sušenja najbolje opisuje modelom Page-a. Postupcima optičke i elektronske mikroskopije izvršeno je posmatranje uzoraka svežeg i osušenog korenja pri različitim režimima sušenja u cilju praćenja skupljanja materijala. Ustanovljeno je da proces skupljanja bitno zavisi od vrste ćelijskog tkiva u posmatranom poprečnom preseku materijala i od temperaturnog režima sušenja.

AB  - This paper is the result of studying effects of mechanical chamomile harvesting on yield and quality of harvested chamomile. Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita (L) Rausch.) was harvested at three time intervals (T1 - 240 days, T2 - 250 days and T3 - 260 days after sowing) by three conceptually different harvesters. The results achieved indicate that the harvester type significantly influences quality of harvested chamomile, whereas it is not influenced by chamomile harvesting time. Quality of harvested chamomile was classified into four categories, and it was observed that the greater number of rotations of a picking device increased the content of the first category of quality. The harvester A achieved 54.79% of the first category of quality in respect to the harvester B achieving 50.26% and the harvester C with 42.93%.
AB  - Ovaj rad predstavlja rezultat istraživanja u okviru koga su praćeni efekti mehanizovanog ubiranja na prinos i kvalitet ubrane kamilice. Kamilica je ubirana u tri različita vremenska intervala (T1 - 240 dana, T2 - 250 dana i T3 - 260 dana nakon setve) sa tri koncepcijski različita kombajna. Ostvareni rezultati ukazuju da tip kombajna ima značajan uticaj na kvalitet ubrane kamilice, dok takav uticaj nije izražen kada se posmatra termin ubiranja kamilice. Kvalitet ubrane kamilice je klasifikovan u 4 kategorije, gde je uočeno da veći broj obrtaja beračkog uređaja povećava učešće I kategorije kvaliteta. Kombajn A ostvaruje 54,79% I kategorije kvaliteta ubrane kamilice u odnosu na kombajn B sa 50,26% i kombajn C sa 42,93%.

AB  - Contemporary livestock production implies production of highly valuable, biologically and chemically safe products. Dairy production has no exception too. On the contrary, the quality standards for raw milk are highly increased. The quality of raw milk is defined by its chemical composition and the total count of microorganisms in control volume. In this paper we discussed the performance of advanced system for heat recovery from raw milk and its application in the process of preheating and preparation of process water. The energy and exergy efficiency of one of such systems were analyzed. It was determined that the implementation of the system for milk cooling with precooling and using the waste heat for preheating process water could achieve significant savings. The system consists of 'milk to water' heat pump, pre-cooler for milk cooling and storage tank for process water with heating possibility. Values of exergy efficiency of each component of system and potential improving of components performances were determined. Also, the exergy efficiency and potential improvement of complete system were determined.
AB  - Savremena stočarska proizvodnja podrazumeva proizvodnju visoko vrednih, biološki i hemijski bezbednih proizvoda. Proizvodnja mleka nije izuzetak, naprotiv, norme kvaliteta sirovog mleka su sve strožije. Kvalitet sirovog mleka je određen njegovim hemijskim sastavom i ukupnom brojnošću mikroorganizama u kontrolnoj zapremini. U ovom radu biće razmatran rad naprednog sistema za rekuperaciju toplote iz svežeg mleka koja se potom koristi u procesu dogrevanja i pripreme potrošne vode. Primenom sistema za hlađenje mleka sa predhlađenjem i korišćenjem dobijene toplote za zagrevanje potrošne vode mogu se postići značajne uštede. U radu je analizirana energetska i eksergetska efikasnost rada jednog ovakvog sistema. Sistem se sastoji od toplotne pumpe 'mleko-voda', predhladnjaka za hlađenje svežeg mleka i skladišnika potrošne tople vode sa mogućnošću njenog dogrevanja. Ustanovljene su veličine eksergetske efikasnosti komponenata sistema i potencijal poboljšanja svake od komponenata u sistemu. Takođe, ustanovljena je eksergetska efikasnost celokupnog sistema i potencijal njegovogpoboljšanja.

SOLAR: A software tool for meteorological data processing

AB  - The current standards for solar components and systems testing (SRB, EN, ISO, DIN, etc.) imply the determination of the system relevant parameters at the monitored locality. In this regard, it is necessary to prepare all the input data for the selected location in order to determine the standard values, such as: thermal collector performance, factor changes in incident angle of radiation, heat capacity, pressure values and various quality tests. The parameters collected with appropriate measuring instruments are necessary for defining the state of atmospheric moisture air (temperature, relative humidity), air movement (speed and wind direction), ambient characteristic at given location (clouds, precipitation, etc.) and parameters that describe the energetic potential of the Sun (total, direct and diffusion radiation). A software tool for meteorological data processing (SOLAR) is designed and constructed so that the collected data of experimental measurements can be effectively and easily processed, with the possibility to present the results in a number of ways. The basic software components are subroutines for data filtering (extracting the minimum, maximum and average values in the selected time interval of observation), data processing (calculation of unknown characteristic values that are based on experimentally measured values), and visualization of results (graphical representation results).
AB  - Aktuelni standardi za ispitivanje solarnih komponenata i sistema (SRB, EN, ISO, DIN i drugi) podrazumevaju određivanje svih relevantnih parametara rada instalacije na posmatranom lokalitetu. S tim u vezi, neophodno je pripremiti sve ulazne podatke za odabranu lokaciju radi određivanja standardom definisanih veličina, kao što su: toplotni učinak kolektor, faktor promene upadnog ugla zračenja, toplotnog kapaciteta, padova pritisaka i raznih testova kvaliteta. Veličine koje su od značaja za proračun se mere odgovarajućim mernim instrumentima i neophodne su za definisanje stanja vlažnog atmosferskog vazduha (temperatura, relativna vlažnost), kretanja vazduha (brzina i pravac strujanja vetra), ambijentalnih karakteristika atmosfere na posmatranoj lokaciji (oblačnost, količina padavina, i slično) kao i veličina koje oslikavaju energetski potencijal Sunca na posmatranoj lokaciji (ukupno, direktno i difuzno zračenje). Softver za filtriranje, obradu i vizuelizaciju prikupljenih meteoroloških podataka - SOLAR, osmišljen je i izrađen tako da prikupljene podatke eksperimentalnih merenja efikasno i jednostavno procesuira, a dobijene rezultate potom predstavi korisniku. Switching to electrically powered engines, for example, offers considerable benefits compared to a mechanical transmission system, because the caterpillar concept of the CAT D7E envisions a way that hybrid engine systems of heavy and other machinery must follow in the near future. This is where the future and the next century of heavy machines begins, this was a statement made by the constructors from Caterpillar Inc. - USA, 2010. Why? Switching to electrically powered engines of heavy caterpillar tractors, for example the CAT D7E, has considerable advantages compared to a mechanical drive system of a similar heavy caterpillar tractor or some other similar working machines. .
AB  - Razvoj guseničara sa električnom transmisijom, Cat D7E, počinje krajem XX veka kao mašine indikatora budućih pravaca u dizajnu i razvoju teških tipova traktora guseničara, (Caterpillar, Illinois, U.S.A). Prelazak na sistem sa električnom transmisijom kao jednim od oblika alternativnih pogona, pruža značajne prednosti u poređenju sa klasičnim sistemima pogona (mehaničkim prenosnim sistemom, hidrostatičkim prenosnim sistemom) jer koncepcija guseničara Cat D7E predviđa put kojim može krenuti razvoj alternativnih pogona teških radnih i drugih mašina u skoroj budućnosti. Ovde počinje budućnost i sledeći vek teških radnih mašina, izjavili su konstruktori kompanije Caterpillar-USA, 2010. godine [14], prilikom eksperimentalnog ispitivanja traktora guseničara Cat D7E. AB  - In this paper actual parameter analysis of corn seed energy efficiency drying process was performed in Maize Research Institute 'Zemun Polje' in Zemun. Energy consumption data and performances of old - natural gas based system and new - corncob combustion based system were compared and analyzed. This paper deals with basic improvement measures, biomass usage and corncob usage validation in this type of industrial systems. .
AB  - U ovom radu je analizirana i ispitana energetska efikasnost sušenja semenskog kukuruza u doradnom centru Instituta za kukuruz 'Zemun Polje' u Zemunu. Podaci o radu starog sistema sušenja koji je kao energent koristio prirodni gas, analizirani su i upoređeni sa energetskim parametrima novog sistema, koji kao energent koristi usitnjeni oklasak dobijen u procesu krunjenja semenskog kukuruza. Rad se takođe bavi i razmatranjem ekoloških aspekata korišćenja oklaska kao goriva i tehno-ekonomskom opravdanošću primene ovakvog sistema sušenja. .

This paper deals with basic improvement measures, biomass usage and corncob usage validation in this type of industrial systems. ., U ovom radu je analizirana i ispitana energetska efikasnost sušenja semenskog kukuruza u doradnom centru Instituta za kukuruz 'Zemun Polje' u Zemunu. Podaci o radu starog sistema sušenja koji je kao energent koristio prirodni gas, analizirani su i upoređeni sa energetskim parametrima novog sistema, koji kao energent koristi usitnjeni oklasak dobijen u procesu krunjenja semenskog kukuruza. Rad se takođe bavi i razmatranjem ekoloških aspekata korišćenja oklaska kao goriva i tehno-ekonomskom opravdanošću primene ovakvog sistema sušenja. .",

AB  - This paper is part of research about the effects of mechanized process of fragmentation of pruning residues on the composting process. Compost, as a form of organic fertilizer, requires specific production treatment depending on the form of biomass. Pruning residues from fruit-vine production can be translated into quality organic fertilizer, but it is necessary to coordinate mechanized treatment of biomass and technology of composting process with microbiological processes for organic matter decomposition.
AB  - Rad predstavlja deo istraživanja uticaja mehanizovanih procesa usitnjavanja rezidbenih ostataka na proces kompostiranja. Kompost kao vid organskog đubriva zahteva specifičan tretman proizvodnje u zavisnosti od vida biomase. Rezidbeni ostaci iz voćarsko-vinogradarske proizvodnje se mogu prevesti u kvalitetno organsko đubrivo, ali je potrebno uskladiti mehanizovane procese obrade biomase i tehnologiju kompostiranja sa mikrobiološkim procesima razlaganja organske materije.

AB  - Heat pump drying systems application has great potential and provides economical and ecological benefit in food industry. Many researchers deal with a problem of investigating heat pump drying system performance. However, there have not been any massive applications of these systems on farms and in food industry in Republic of Serbia, considering huge effort of their promotion. This paper analyze performances of typical drying systems configurations from the COP and specific compressor work point of view, considering different outside influences and operating conditions. .
AB  - Upotreba toplotnih pumpi obećava ekonomski i ekološki benefit i veliki broj istraživanja se bavi njihovom primenom u sistemima sušenja prehrambenih proizvoda. Međutim, do njihove masovnije upotrebe u Republici Srbiji na farmama i u industriji još uvek nije došlo uprkos uloženim naporima i promovisanju. U ovom radu analizirane su performanse rada tipičnih konfiguracija sistema sušenja sa stanovišta postizanja maksimalnog koeficijenta grejanja pod određenim spoljnim uticajima i u zavisnosti od željenog režima sušenja. .

AB  - Energy saving estimation model (ESEM) use normal distribution (Gaussian) probability theory to predict potential savings for previously determined system improvements. Those improvements are low/high cost investments based on data gathered during one year monitoring of typical hypermarket facility HVAC system. The consumption of electrical energy and natural gas has been monitored and system segments with largest amount of energy consumption have been marked. Gathered data pointed out to fan units as the biggest energy consumers and suggested that system energy-saving improvement must be focused on fans energy consumption control. This paper deals with ESEM inputs and outputs in order to provide correct financial estimation of specific investment.

AB  - Agricultural areas are often uneven, which creates big problems for growing crops. With Universal scraper (machine is a result of project: 'Development of modern agricultural machinery and tools for new technologies in plant production TR- 6926' which was funded by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Serbia) technical problem with surface of the agricultural plots is solved. The alignment of land routes for the movement of mobile irrigation units is solved to. Significantly improve the performance of these machines would be achieved by using laser management system for managing workflow. This would significantly increase the accuracy of working operations with reduce the duration of the cycle and the energy needs of machine. Laser control systems for agricultural machines significantly affect their performance, significantly raising the precision and speed of execution of operations. Application of these systems is more tightly restricted specificity of working processes in which the most justified the appropriateness of their application, primarily because of cost systems based on the use of laser technology.
AB  - Poljoprivredne površine su često nepravilnih mikro topografskih karakteristika (neravnine makro i mikro veličina), što stvara velike probleme u tehnologiji gajenja poljoprivrednih kultura. Univerzalni skreperski ravnjač (mašina je rezultat istraživanja u okviru projekta-TR 6926, koji je finansiralo Ministarstvo za nauku i tehnološki razvoj Republike Srbije, [4] ) rešava tehnički problem uređenja mikro i makro neravnina poljoprivrednih zemljišta po površini na parcelama. Pored ovog, može se upotrebiti za ravnanje zemljišnih puteva na poljoprivrednim imanjima za kretanje mobilnih agregata, i formiranje i uređenje zemljanih traka za kretanje mobilnih sistema za navodnjavanje. Znatno poboljšanje radnih karakteristika skreperskog ravnjača postiglo bi se upotrebom nekog od postojećih laserskih sistema za upravljanje radnim procesom. Na ovaj način bi se znatno povećala preciznost rada radnog organa (daske) kod izvršavanja radnih operacija ravnanja poljoprivrednih ili drugih površina, i smanjilo vreme trajanja radnog ciklusa kao i energetskih zahteva mašine. Laserski sistemi upravljanja na poljoprivrednim mašinama bitno utiču na njihove radne karakteristike, znatno podižu preciznost i brzinu izvođenja radnih operacija (dubina rada, širina zahvata) . Primena ovih sistema je još usko ograničena specifičnošću radnih procesa kod kojih je opravdana njihova primena, prvenstveno zbog značajne cene kontrolno - upravljačkih sistema zasnovanih na upotrebi tehnologije lasera.

AB  - Condensing dryer for agriculture application has notable advantages comparing with traditional drying methods, within fact that drying process is at low-temperature regime. Negative influence of dried fiber structure is minimized with full air recirculation. This technology is 'eco-friendly' and has no considerable effect on environment and ecology in negative meaning. Basics principles of most applied standards in food industry are mentioned in this paper.
AB  - Kondenzaciona sušara ima i prednost u odnosu na druge metode sušenja u činjenici da je kod nje proces sušenja na niskotemperaturskom režimu što je veoma pogodno kod sušenja sirovine gde zahteva minimalan uticaj samog procesa na strukturu vlakana u negativnom smislu. Ova tehnologija sušenja spada u 'eco-friendly' ekološki prihvatljive tehnologije, što znači da nema bitnog uticaja na životnu sredinu i okruženje u kome se nalazi. U radu su predstavljene osobine ovakvog načina sušenja sa aspekta primene osnovnih principa strogih standarda prehrambene industrije.

Negative influence of dried fiber structure is minimized with full air recirculation. This technology is 'eco-friendly' and has no considerable effect on environment and ecology in negative meaning. Basics principles of most applied standards in food industry are mentioned in this paper., Kondenzaciona sušara ima i prednost u odnosu na druge metode sušenja u činjenici da je kod nje proces sušenja na niskotemperaturskom režimu što je veoma pogodno kod sušenja sirovine gde zahteva minimalan uticaj samog procesa na strukturu vlakana u negativnom smislu. Ova tehnologija sušenja spada u 'eco-friendly' ekološki prihvatljive tehnologije, što znači da nema bitnog uticaja na životnu sredinu i okruženje u kome se nalazi. U radu su predstavljene osobine ovakvog načina sušenja sa aspekta primene osnovnih principa strogih standarda prehrambene industrije.",

AB  - In past few years there were a notable number of ventilation systems applications working with variable air volume (VAV). Accessibility, simplicity and low-cost of frequency regulation equipment implementation in ventilation systems using fans is raising energy efficiency of ventilation systems and their providence. A parallel view between conventional and VAV systems is presented in this paper. Transformation of average conventional into VAV system with minimum cost of adaptation possibility is analyzed. Energy efficiency of ventilation systems in non-residential facilities achieved with frequency regulated components is being part of project assignment and pretends to become important standard in ventilation systems design methodology.
AB  - U proteklih nekoliko godina je primetna sve češća primena sistema ventilacije koji rade sa promenljivim protokom fluida. Pristupačnost, jednostavnost i isplativost ugrađivanja opreme za frekventnu regulaciju ventilatora doprinela je povećanju energetske efikasnosti sistema ventilacije i njihovoj tehno-ekonomskoj isplativosti. U ovom radu je data paralela između dosad korišćenih konvencionalnih sistema i sistema sa promenljivim protokom. Takođe je analiziran način i mogućnosti prelaska starijih sistema na novi način regulacije u skladu sa trendovima, a opet uz minimiziranje troškova adaptacije. Energetska efikasnost sistema ventilacije primenom frekventno regulisanih komponenti sistema često biva sastavni deo projektnog zadatka i pretenduje da postane jedan od bitnijih standarda u projektovanju termotehničkih sistema i instalacija.

AB  - Numerous computer control units have long been an integral part of the tractors and other agricultural machines, making them more efficient and safer. This important technological innovations, CAN Bus network or 'Controler Area Network' that allows computer units and their components within the tractor and the other working machines connected, and to thereby provide a reliable and secure communications, and reduce the amount of electrical conductors that would otherwise used for this purpose. Information collected various sensors inside the tractor and the other working machines, CAN Bus network transmits to the computer unit, while establishing priorities among the data, so I arrived for each of them, based on pre-prescribed procedures and protocols, the corresponding response rate was prepared by computer.
AB  - Različiti tipovi i modeli računarskih upravljačkih jedinica već duži period su sastavni delovi traktora i ostalih poljoprivrednih ili radnih mašina, čineći ih efikasnijim i bezbednijim. Ova veoma važna tehnološka inovacija, CAN Bus mreža ili 'Controler Area Network' omogućava da se računarske jedinice i njihove komponente unutar traktora i drugih radnih mašina povežu u funkcionalnu kompleksnu celinu. Pri tome je obezbeđena pouzdana i sigurna komunikaciju, a smanjena količina električnih provodnika koji bi se inače zbog povezivanja delova sistema koristili. Informacije koje prikupljaju različiti senzori unutar traktora i drugih radnih mašina, CAN Bus mreža prenosi do računarske jedinice, a pri tome uspostavlja prioritete među pristiglim podacima kako bih za svaki od njih, na osnovu unapred propisanih protokola i procedura, odgovarajućom brzinom bio pripremljen odgovor od strane odgovarajuće računarske jedinice.

AB  - The appliance of alternative propulsions on off road vehicles presents a very popular topic nowadays. Global rise in the price of fossil fuel and the actual global economic crisis contribute even more to the importance of their appliance. Due to a wide area of off road vehicle usage, from agriculture to mining industry, ascertainment of an acceptable and low cost solution of alternative propulsion would significantly reduce the needs for fossil fuel. This paper presents actual solutions of alternative propulsion, which are: - Electrical and - Hybrid, as well as some particular solutions and examples of their practical usage on agricultural working machines and military vehicles. It should be noted that alternative propulsions are more and more used for road motor vehicles, which shows the manufacturers' interest and their more often appearances in the market of serial models with alternative propulsion.
AB  - Primena alternativnih pogona na vanputnim vozilima, danas u Svetu, predstavlja veoma aktuelnu temu. Globalno poskupljenje fosilnih goriva i aktuelna Svetska ekonomska kriza još više doprinose važnosti primene alternativnih pogona. Usled široke oblasti primene vanputnih vozila, od poljoprivrede do rudarstva, iznalaženjem prihvatljivog i jeftinog rešenja alternativnog pogona znatno bi se smanjile potrebe za upotrebom fosilnih goriva. U ovom radu su predstavljena aktuelna rešenja alternativnih pogona i to: - Električnih i - Hibridnih, kao i neka konkretna rešenja i primeri njihove praktične primene na poljoprivrednim i radnim mašinama i vojnim vozilima. Treba reći da su alternativni pogoni sve više zastupljeni i u oblasti drumskih motornih vozila, što pokazuje zainteresovanost proizvođača i sve češće pojavljivanje na tržištu serijskih modela sa alternativnim pogonom.

AB  - In this paper are presented several types of A/C (Air Condition) systems for climatization of modern agricultural and meliorative machinery cabs. Systems are selected according to the applied cooling fluid, in purpose of technical and exploitation characteristics comparison. Possibilities of two cooling fluids application, both R134a (tera fluoro ethane CH2FCF3) and CO2 (carbon dioxide), are considered and their thermo-mechanical and exploitation characteristics are compared, as well as their influence in sense of ecology and global warming. It should be noticed that CO2 is used in last generation systems and has certain advantages in ecology, which will be mentioned in this paper. Technical and exploitation characteristics of analyzed A/C systems will be analyzed in terms of ergonomic principles that those systems should satisfy, also.
AB  - U radu je predstavljeno nekoliko tipova A/C (Air Condition) sistema za klimatizaciju kabina savremenih poljoprivrednih i meliorativnih mašina. Izbor sistema je napravljen na bazi rashladnog fluida koji se koristi kao radna materija, a sa ciljem poređenja tehničkih i eksploatacionih karakteristika. Analizirane su mogućnosti primene dva rashladna fluida R134a (terafluoretan CH2FCF3) i CO2 (ugljendioksid), sagledane i poređene njihove termomehaničke i eksploatacione karakteristike, kao i osobine njihovog uticaja sa stanovišta ekologije i globalnog zagrevanja. Treba napomenuti da se CO2 koristi u sistemima poslednje generacije i da poseduje određene prednosti sa stanovišta ekologije o kojima će u radu biti reči. Tehničke i eksploatacione karakteristike analiziranih A/C sistema biće analizirane i sa strane ergonomskih zakonitosti koje ovi sistemi treba da ispune.

Energetic and economical optimization of thermal and photovoltaic system of solar energy utilization in special hospital of the Rusanda spa

AB  - In this paper are presented the results of optimization of thermal and photovoltaic system of solar energy utilization aimed to reduce CO2 emission by energy efficient and cost-effective replacing fossil fuel and electricity with solar energy for heating of water for different purposes (for pools sanitary water, washing) in the Special hospital of the Spa Rusanda -Melenci. Crucial for success of the study is understanding and prediction of solar water heating systems dynamic behaviour and synergetic relations between energy efficiency, solar radiation intensity stochastic changes, and sanitary water consumption dynamics. Prediction and analysis of relevant subsystems dynamics was basis for the optimisation of the TES - Thermal Energy Storage role within the system energy efficiency optimisation. In addition, the possible integration of the waste water heat utilization using heat-pump energy recovery system and reheating using heat pump powered by the solar PV electricity are analyzed. Although, the solar water heating has much higher efficiency (thermal - 4 to 5 times higher than PV) the evaluation of given new technical solution confirmed its high energy efficiency and cost effectiveness. Necessary alternative energy, during the periods when there is not enough solar radiation, can be efficiently provided concerning the possibility to cover nearly 80-90% of water heating needs, if water waste heat and TES are used as a heat pump source.
AB  - U radu su izloženi rezultati studije i idejnog projekta urađenog u okviru Programa obnovljivih izvora energije srpske Agencije za energetsku efikasnost - SEEA. Data su tehnička rešenja i optimizacija sistema toplotnog i fotonaponskog korišćenja energije sunčevog zračenja za grejanje vode za različite namene (bazene, sanitarnu vodu, pranje veša i kuhinja) u Specijalnoj bolnici Rusanda - Melenci, u cilju smanjenja emisije ugljen-dioksida. Pokazano je da se zamena fosilnih goriva i električne energije može uspešno ostvariti putem energetski efikasnog i ekonomičnog korišćenja sunčeve energije. Od posebne važnosti za postizanje željenog cilja je razumevanje i predviđanje dinamičkog ponašanja sistema za grejanje vode sunčevom energijom i sinergetskih veza energetske efikasnosti, dinamike promena intenziteta sunčevog zračenja i dinamike potrošnje tople vode. Analizirana je moguća integracija primene toplote otpadne vode primenom toplotne pumpe i sistema povraćaja toplote i daljeg dogrevanja toplotnom pumpom napajanom električnom energijom proizvedenom fotonaponskim sistemom. Iako sistem za grejanje vode sunčevom energijom ima veću efikasnost (toplotno pretvaranje je 4 do 5 puta veće od fotonaponskog), utvrđeno je da se primenom novog tehničkog rešenja (sprega povraćaja toplote, toplotne pumpe i fotonaponskog sistema) može postići efektivnost i ekonomičnost sistema primene fotonaponskog pretvaranja potpuno uporedivog reda veličine sa toplotnim pretvaranjem sunčeve energije.
