AB  - On the basic of three-year testing of five black wine varieties of the Prolec occidentalis group, grown in the vineyard district of Grocka, the following conclusions can be made: 1. High yield of grapes exhibited variety game black the great, while varieties merlot, Burgundac black and cabernet Souvignon had smaller yield of grapes, and the Caberne franc variety had the smallest yield of grapes. 2. The biggest cluster masshad variety cabernet franc the great, followed by varieties merlot, game black and cabernet Souvignon, while smallest cluster mass had the Burgundac black variety. 3. Biggest berry mass had the cabernet franc variety, while smaller berry mass had varieties merlot, cabernet Souvignon and game black, and smallest berry mass had the Burgundac black variety. 4. Biggest sugar content in must had the Burgundac black variety, while cabernet Souvignon, cabernet franc and merlot varieties had less sugar, and game black the great variety had the smallest sugar content. 5. Biggest content of total acids in must had cabernet Souvignon variety, less acid total had varieties merlot, game black and Burgundac black, and the smallest content of total acids in must had the cabernet franc variety.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati proučavanja važnijih agrobioloških i privredno tehnoloških karakteristika pet crnih vinskih sorti grupe Proles occidentalis: Burgundac crni, Game crni, Kaberne sovinjon, Kaberne fran i Merlo u uslovima gročanskog vinogorja. Na osnovu rezultata ispitivanja može se zaključiti da su ove sorte u agroekološkim uslovima gročanskog vinogorja ispoljile stabilnu rodnost sa zadovoljavajućim kvalitetom grožđa. Ispitivanje je obavljeno u ampelografskoj kolekciji "Radmilovac" Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Zemunu u periodu od 1992-1994. godine.

AB  - This work contains a survey on creating a very early table grapevine variety called "Serbia". The work includes origin of seed, production of seedlings, production of planting material, and field and laboratory research. Important botanic, physiological, agrobiological and technological properties of the variety have been tested, too. Tests were held on several locations. AB  - Of the basis of fifteen years of monitoring and study of the yellow trait of the Smederevka variety, the following conclusions can be made 1.Agroecological conditions were favorable for development and fruit/bearing of the yellow trait of the Smederevka variety. 2.Yelow trait was set apart from the population of the Smederevka variety which is traditionally grown in the vineyard district of Smederevo. 3.Yield of grapes varied from 7,600 kg/ha to 17,200 kg/ha. 4.Content of sugar in must varied from 15,1 to 19,4%. 5.Content of total acids in must varied from 7,18 g/l to 8,05 g/l. 6.Wine is potable, harmonic and refreshing. 7.Statistical analysis of the results a and other information shows that it would be worthwhile to make a selection of clones and report the most successful clone to the Commission for variety testing the agricultural crops.
AB  - Žuta odlika populacije sorte smederevke gaji se kao tradicionalna sorta u smederevskom vinogorju. Ova odlika je umnožena i zasađena na lokaciji "ZLATNO BRDO". Ispitivanje i praćenje ove odlike vršeno je u periodu od 1986. do 2000. godine. Od glavnih pokazatelja ispitivani su prinos grožđa, sadržaj šećera u širi i sadržaj ukupnih kiselina u širi. Prinos grožđa je varirao od 7.600 kg/ha do 17.000 kg/ha. Sadržaj šećera u širi je varirao od 15,10% do 19,40%. Sadržaj ukupnih kiselina u širi je varirao od 7,18 g/l do 8,05 g/l.

AB  - On the basis of two-year testing of the influence of organic fertilizer Rosasoil on yield and technological characteristics of the Riesling Italian variety in full fecundity in the conditions of the vineyard district of Vršac, the following can be concluded: 1. Climate and soil are favorable for growing grapevine in the wine-producing region of Vršac. 2. Average yield of grapes varied, ranging from 4.5 kg/trunk (on control) to 5.29 kg/trunk (variant with 360 g of fertilizer per plant). 3. Average yield of grapes varied from 14.998 kg/ha (on control) to 17.622.08 kg/ha, (variant with 360 g Rosasoil per plant). 4. Average content of sugar in must varied from 16.39% (on control) to 17.9% (variant with 360 g of fertilizer/plant). 5. Average content of total acids in must varied from 7.6 g/l (variant with 300 g /l of fertilizer per plant) to 7.72 g/l (on control). On the basis of results achieved, it can be concluded that application of organic fertilizer Rosasoil was successful, so this fertilizer can be recommended both for the vineyard district of Vršac, and for application in other vineyard districts in Yugoslavia.
AB  - U radu je analiziran rezultat uticaja organskog đubriva Rosasoil na prinos i tehnološke karakteristike grožđa sorte rizling italijanski u fazi redovne rodnosti. Rezultati su potvrdili pozitivno dejstvo đubriva na ostvareni prinos i tehnološke karakteristike.

Tolerance of the cabernet franc variety population to low temperatures in controlled conditions

AB  - We tested the influence of low temperatures up to the freezing point during winter rest of winter central buds and lateral buds in variances of the Cabernet franc variety. Variances were grown in equal agro-ecological conditions. We applied in vitro the method of artificial freezing of one-year shoots (cuttings) in the cold storage. Two low temperatures were applied:-150C, -200C and -250C. Tests were performed simultaneously on all variances three times during the winter rest of 25th December, of 25th January and of 25th February (of 1998,1999 and 2000). On the basis of results of the testing, we determined that there were statistically significant differences between the tested variances and low temperatures applied. Damage of central winter buds and lateral buds were significantly less on -200C than on -250C.
AB  - U radu je ispitivan uticaj niskih temperatura tokom zimskog mirovanja na stepen izmrzavanja zimskih okaca i suočicaa kod varijeteta sorte kaberne fran. Ispitivani varijeteti su gajeni u istim agrekološkim uslovima na O.Š.D. "Radmilovac" - Vinča, Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Zemunu. Primenjena je in vitro metoda veštačkog izmrzavanja reznica jednogodišnjeg lastara u hladnoj komori. Testiranja su izvođena istovremeno kod svih varijeteta, tri puta u toku zime. Primenjene su tri niske temperature i to - 150C, -200C i -250C. Testiranja su izvođena 25. decembra, 25. januara i 25. februara 1998.,1999. i 2000. godine. Na osnovu rezultata ispitivanja, ustanovljeno je da postoje statistički značajne razlike između ispitivanih varijeteta i primenjenih niskih temperatura. AB  - On the basis of three-year testing of five black wine varieties of the Proles Orientalis group, grown in the vineyard district of Grocka, the following conclusions can be made: High yield of grapes exhibited variety Babic the great, while varieties Bratkovina, Portuguese black and Lasina had smaller yield of grapes, and the Hindogni variety had the smallest yield of grapes. The biggest cluster masshad variety Babic the great, followed by varieties Bratkovina, Hindogni and Portuguese black, while smallest cluster mass had the Lasina variety. Biggest berry mass had the Lasina variety, while smaller berry mass had varieties Babic the great, Bratkovina and Hindogni, and smallest berry mass had the Portuguese black variety. Biggest sugar content in must had the Hindogni variety, while Portuguese black, Lasina and Bratkovina varieties had less sugar, and Babic the great variety had the smallest sugar content. Biggest content of total acids in must had Hindogni variety, less acid totalhad varieties Babic the great, Bratkovina and Lasina, and the smallest content of total acids in must had the Portuguese black variety. Biggest content of anthocyanins in grapes had the Lasina variety, followed by varieties Hindogni, Portuguese black and Babic the great, and the smallest content of antocyan in grapes had the Bratkovina variety.

AB  - On the basis of testing of the variation of the Cabernet Franc variety population, grown on OŠD "Radmilovac", Vinča-Grocka, of the Agricultural Faculty in Zemun, the following can be concluded: – tests were performed in the period from 1997 to 2000; – variations of the Cabernet Franc population in agro ecological conditions of the vineyard district of Grocka express positive uvological properties where expressed statistically important and very important differences; – cluster mass of tested variations varies, ranging from 55.96 g (variation 08) to 120,96g (variation 02); – berry mass of tested variations varies, ranging from 1.19 g (variation 016) to 1.71 g (variation 05); – some of the tested variations 02,10 reached a level necessary for approval of clones according to methodology of the Federal Commission for variety testing the agricultural crops.
AB  - Cilj ovih istraživanja je bio da se ustanove uvološke karakteristike mase grozda i mase bobice varijeteta populacije sorte kaberne fran. Ispitivanja su vršena u periodu 1997-2000 godine na Radmilovcu u gročanskom vinogorju, u kolekciji varijeteta populacije sorte kaberne fran. Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata može se konstatovati da između varijeteta postoje razlike, pri čemu se ispoljavaju i statističke značajnosti.

AB  - Taking into account the data concerning new very early table variety 'Serbia', one can conclude : 1. By the method of not controlled fertilization of table variety Ribier /Alphonse Lavallée/,it has been created very early table variety which is named: 'Serbia'. 2. Morphological and physiological characteristics show that ampelographic and genetic significations confirm the identity of the new variety and idendity of the new created genetic potential of Vitis vinifera L. Agro biological chararacteristics show many positive properties as well as many advantages in compararison with control variety Cardinal and variety Ribier. Taking into account grape yield /15.000-20.0000 kg/ha/, the new variety can be sorted in high-yield varieties and concerning maturing time of grape it is very early table variety of Vitis vinifera. Technological characteristics transportability and stability of grape confirms that the variety 'Serbia' is quality table variety and can be to grow and developed under all agroecological conditions in which are growned very early and early table varieties in Yugoslavia, especially variety Cardinal.
AB  - U radu je dat sažet prikaz stvaranja veoma rane stone sorte vinove loze 'Srbija'. Rad obuhvata poreklo semena, proizvodnju sejanaca, proizvodnju sadnog materijala, terenska i laboratorijska istraživanja. Ispitivana su važnija botanička, fiziološka, agrobiološka i tehnološka svojstva. Ispitivanja su vršena u više lokaliteta. Sorta je priznata od strane Savezne komisije za priznavanje sorti poljoprivrednog bilja 26.10.1999. godine. .

AB  - By analysis of investigated clones and control of the population of variety Cabernet franc in Grotzka vineyard district one can conclude. The investigation has been performed in a period from 1985-1999. year. It was investigated 193 significators in control group and in 10 clones following Codex method of International Office for Viticulture and Wine (Codex 001-506). Mass and cluster, mass of berry and their structure significators were in the area of statistical significancy. The grape yield was also in area statistical significancy. Content of sugar and total acids in most fulfilled all needed criteria for the production of quality and of high quality red wines. On the basis of the repeated rank ordering taking into account the number of grained for the acknowledgement and the introduction in praxis, the next clones can be recommended: No 02, No 04 and No 012. .
AB  - U periodu 1995. do 1999. godine, izvršeno je na Ogledno školskom dobru 'Radmilovac', Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Zemunu, ispitivanje III generacije klonova i populacije sorte vinove loze kaberne fran u fazi rastuće rodnosti. Ispitivanjem su obuhvaćena 193 pokazatelja po Codes metodi OIV-a. U ovom radu prikazani su samo pokazatelji koji se međusobno značajno razlikuju. Izvestan broj ispitivanih klonova je na osnovu ispitivanih pokazatelja stekao uslove za prijavljivanje Komisiji za priznavanje sorti poljoprivrednog bilja Jugoslavije.

Recombination of some characteristics in fj generation of grapevine

AB  - To create seedless cultivar with colored juice, with high yield and high fruit quality, the crossing between Evita and Beogradska Besemena cultivars has been done. In the obtained progeny, in addition to the selection of seedlings with expected characteristics recombination, the mode of inheritance has been followed as well. Monogenic inheritance has been determined for the berry skin color and juice color. Exception to monogenic inheritance has been determined for seedlessness. For the grape yield and bunch weight, the dominance of parent with low grape yield and low bunch weight (cv. Evita) have been determined, while for the berry weight the partial dominance of parent with low berry weight (cv. Evita) have been determined. In regard to sugar content of must, positive heterosis has been exhibited. The expected complete recombination of desirable characteristics (seedlessness, colored juice, high yield and high fruit quality) was not shown in any seedling of F1 generation.

For the grape yield and bunch weight, the dominance of parent with low grape yield and low bunch weight (cv. Evita) have been determined, while for the berry weight the partial dominance of parent with low berry weight (cv. Evita) have been determined. In regard to sugar content of must, positive heterosis has been exhibited. The expected complete recombination of desirable characteristics (seedlessness, colored juice, high yield and high fruit quality) was not shown in any seedling of F1 generation.",
