Modes and structure of the energy engaged in plant material drying

Oblici i struktura angažovane energije pri sušenju biljnih materijala

Abstract
One the mutual effects between wet material and the environment represents the process of drying the result of which is the transfer of moisture from the material to the drying agent. The drying of material such as fruits and medicinal plants known to be thermo susceptible materials, represents a very complex thermo-technical process. The energetic balance of the drying process is quantitatively defined by the thermo-physical properties of the material and the technical parameters of the system. The structure of the energy engaged in the drying process is primarily limited by the technical parameters of the equipment. The objective of the study was to analyze energy consumption in the process of plant material drying using eco systems and renewable energy sources. The results obtained showed the consumption of some energy types per unit of the material dried.
Jedan od procesa uzajamnog dejstva vlažnog materijala i okoline predstavlja sušenje, čiji je rezultat prenos vlage iz materijala u agens sušenja. Sušenje biljnih materijala, kao što su plodovi voća, kao termički osetljive materijale, predstavlja veoma kompleksan termotehički proces. Energetski bilans procesa sušenja kvantitativno definišu: termofizičke osobine materijala i tehnički parametri sistema. Struktura angažovane energije u procesima sušenja je pre svega uslovljena tehničkim parametrima uređaja. U radu je dat pregled rezultata eksperimetalih ispitivanja utroška energije pri sušenju biljnih materijala nekim od sistema koji po svojoj koncepciji koriste ekološki "čiste" oblike i obnovljive izvore energije. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju potrošnju pojedinih oblika energije po jediničnoj količini osušenog materijala.
