dc.description.abstractStudies were carried out in the collective strawberry planting of the Faculty of Agriculture, Belgrade, at the Experimental Property "Radmilovac" during the period of 2001-2002. The experiment included three strawberry cultivars two newly introduced: Marmolada and Elsanta, and a standard cultivar Senga Sengana. All cultivars were grown on banks covered with the black polyethylene foil, in the form of a two-rowed band. Various distances between plants in a row, such as: 15, 20, 30 and 40 cm were applied, while the distance between rows was fixed at 30 cm. Important pomological properties, such as ripening time, physical and chemical fruit characteristics and organoleptic evaluation of fruit quality in the function of different planting distances were studied. The average ripening time of investigated cultivars were ranged from May 11th (Elsanta) to May 18th (Senga sengana). The best results for the most physical fruit properties were obtained in the newly introduced cultivars Marmolada and Elsanta, i.e. cultivar Marmolada had the largest fruits with the greatest total organoleptic quality evaluation. The standard cultivar Senga Sengana had the smallest fruits with the highest contents of soluble solids, total sugars and acids. Therefore, this cultivar can be recommended for differing processing modes, while the newly introduced strawberry cultivars Marmolada and Elsanta, based on studied parameters and comparation with the standard cultivar, can be recommended for commercial growing for green market under the Belgrade region conditions. At the same time, larger planting distances of 30x30 cm and 40x30 cm, where the highest values were recorded, had a positive influence on the values of investigated parameters, hence they can be recommended for a wide application in the strawberry production.en
dc.description.abstractProučavanja u ovom radu vršena su u kolekcionom zasadu jagode Poljoprivrednog fakulteta iz Beograda, na školskom oglednom dobru "Radmilovac" u periodu 2001-2002. godine. Ogledom su obuhvaćene tri sorte jagode, dve novointrodukovane: Marmolada i Elsanta, i kao standard sorta Zenga zengana. Sve sorte su gajene na bankovima prekrivenim crnom polietilenskom folijom, u vidu pantljika sa dva reda. Primenjena su različita rastojanja između biljaka u redu: 15, 20, 30 i 40 cm, dok je rastojanje između redova bilo fiksno i iznosilo 30 cm. Ispitivanjem su obuhvaćene sledeće osobine: vreme zrenja, kao i važnije fizičke, hemijske i organoleptičke osobine ploda u funkciji različitih rastojanja sadnje. Na osnovu proučavanih parametara i poređenja sa sortom standard (Zenga zengana), novointrodukovane sorte Marmolada i Elsanta se zahvaljujući dobrim fizičkim i organoleptičkim osobinama ploda mogu preporučiti za intenzivnije gajenje kao stone sorte u uslovima gročansko-smederevskog Podunavlja, dok sorta Zenga zengana i dalje ostaje vodeća industrijska sorta. Među ispitivanim rastojanjima sadnje, ističu se i preporučuju za širu primenu veća rastojanja sadnje 30x30 cm i 40x30 cm, zahvaljujući njihovom pozitivnom uticaju na vrednosti većine analiziranih parametara ispitivanih sorti jagode.sr
