Protection of protectors of steel structures and other underground building (waterworks, oil pipelines, gas pipelines, tanks, ect) is very significant it ensures the additional protection of underground steel structures against the effects of different corrosion agent. This, the exploitation life of the structure is increased and also its operation safety is greater. For these reasons it is necessary to apply the protection of protectors to all significant steel water supply systems as well as to maintain the installed equipment for protection of protectors regularly.
Protektorna zaštite čeličnih konstrukcija i drugih objekata u zemlji (vodovodi, naftovodi, gasovodi, rezervoari, itd) je veoma značajna jer se njome postiže dodatna zaštićenost navedenih objekata u zemlji od dejstva agenasa korozije. Na taj način povećava se eksploatacioni vek podzemnih objekata i njihova sigurnost u radu. Iz ovih razloga je potrebno štititi protektorima sve značajne podzemne čelične objekte, vodeći računa o potrebnim zaštitnim parametrima koje treba zadovoljiti da bi zaštita bila uspešna.
