Control of Cucumber mosaic virus through sustainable agriculture

Abstract
Cucumber mosaic virus has a very complex epidemiology, which is the reason that its control is so complicated. In this paper, emphasis has been made on diagnosis, control of vector-aphids, resistant varieties, cross-protection and quarantine and fitosanitary measures. Control of Cucumber mosaic virus through sustainable means requires the knowledge and understanding of the above mentioned measures in order to apply them more successfully in the protection of plants against the diseases that this economically important virus causes.
Virus mozaika krastavca ima veoma složenu epidemiologiju, zbog čega su aspekti njegove kontrole kompleksni. U ovom radu pažnja je posvećena dijagnozi, kontroli vektorskih vaši, otpornim sortama, unakrsnoj zaštiti i karantinskim i fitosanitarnim merama. U okvirima održive poljoprivrede od izuzetnog značaja je poznavanje i razumevanje pomenutih mera, kako bi se uspešnije primenjivale u zaštiti bilja od oboljenja koja ovaj ekonomski štetan virus izaziva.
