Heating and CO2 enrichment for greenhouse production

Abstract
Successful greenhouse production is defined by four main factors – temperature, light, water content of soil and air, and quality of air inside the objects. Concerning the energy consumption, the most important factor is temperature. There are many systems for greenhouse heating that enable whole-year plant production. In this paper we analyze most common heating systems such as systems with hot air, central heating systems and infrared. Concerning the effects of rapid growth and development of plants in conditions of higher concentration of carbon dioxide, we analyzed the possibilities of CO2 enrichment by using the pure CO2 gas or CO produced by fuel combustion.
Faktori koji definišu uspešnost biljne proizvodnje u zaštićenom prostoru su temperatura, svetlost, vlažnost (vazduha i zemljišta), i sastav i kvalitet vazduha. Sa aspekta utroška energije, najznačajniji od ovih parametara je svakako temperatura. U primeni su mnogobrojni sistemi za dopunsko zagrevanje koji omogućavaju kontinuiranu biljnu proizvodnju tokom cele godine. U radu su analizirani postojeći tehnički sistemi za zagrevanje (toplom vodom, vodenom parom, toplim vazduhom i infracrvenim zračenjem) uz razmatranje mogućnosti uštede energije. Obzirom na efekat bržeg rasta i razvića biljaka u uslovima povišene koncentracije ugljendioksida, u radu su razmatrane tehničke mogućnosti povišenja njegove koncentracije u proizvodnim uslovima zaštićenog prostora. Analiza je obuhvatila metodu direktne primene čistog CO2 i indirektne primene CO2 koji nastaje sagorevanjem određenih vrsta goriva.
