Greenhouse vegetable production on the small scale farms

Abstract
In this paper a way of improving the greenhouse production on the small scale or family farms is presented. A new type of round greenhouse construction is introduced that should lead to more energy, economy and ecology efficient vegetable production. Energy efficiency of the spinach and tomato production in the round greenhouse was compared with classical tunnel structure. Results show that, regardless the production surface restrictions, with this type of greenhouse construction financial and energy savings are possible together with the minimization of the plant protection chemical usage. If organic fertilizer is used this type of construction can lead to improved food safety production. .
U radu je data analiza proizvodnje spanaća i paradajza u objektima zaštićenog prostora na malom posedu. Predložen je novi tip kružne konstrukcije plastenika koji omogućava ekonomski, ekološki i energetski održivu proizvodnju povrća na porodičnim imanjima. U radu su prikazani rezultati praćenja mikro-klimatskih parametara i prinosa u proizvodnji spanaća i paradajza u objektu kružnog tipa i klasičnom objektu tunel tipa. Rezultati ukazuju da se korišćenjem novog tipa konstrukcije, bez obzira na ograničenje u proizvodnoj površini, mogu ostvariti značajne ekonomske i energetske uštede uz minimiziranje hemijskih zaštitnih sredstava. Uz kombinaciju sa organskim đubrivom, ovaj tip konstrukcije može doprineti i proizvodnji zdravstveno bezbedne hrane. .
