The differences in essential oil composition, based upon GC and GC/MS analysis, were studied in four cultivated populations of Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium (L.) Schulz Bip.). The yield of oil ranged from 0.23% to 0.36%; the major components were camphor (46.4-47.2%), trans-chrysanthenyl acetate (22.4-27.3%) and camphene (10.9-12.7%). Statistically significant differences among tested populations were mostly related to the content of trans-chrysanthenyl acetate and borneol.en
