dc.description.abstractTo overcome the drought problems efficiently, an innovative sustainable irrigation techniEue called Partial Root Drying (PRD) was proposed. The PRD results for different plant species demonstrated the benefit of this method in terms of improved water-use and to maintain yield (Loveys et al. 2000). The aim of the research was to investigate the effects of PRD irrigation on nitrogen distribution and yield of potato grown in the field conditions and to compare these effects with conventional irrigation practice (full irrigation).en
