Effects of natural biostimulators and slow-release fertilizers on the seedling quality of blacksamson echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia DC.)

Abstract
The aim of the study was to analyze effects of natural biostimulators and different rates of slow-release fertilisers on the quality of blacksamson echinacea seedlings. Blacksamson ehinacea nurseries were produced in containers according to the speedling system. Natural biostimulators Megafol and Viva and the microbiological fertiliser Slavol were applied during the seedling production. The biostimulators used had a significant effect on the quality of the blacksamson echinacea nurseries. Different slow-release fertilizer (Osmocote Extact Scotts) rates (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 g/l) applied proved to have a favourable effect on the seedling quality. The obtained results show that this new approach in the production of blacksamson echinacea seedlings with the use of natural biostimulators and slow-release fertilizers has been a significant improvement of the growing practices.
U radu je ispitivan uticaj prirodnih biostimulatora i različitih doza spororazlagajućeg đubriva na kvalitet rasada ehinacee. Rasad ehinacee je proizveden u kontejnerima po "speedling" sistemu. Tokom proizvodnje rasada dodavani su prirodni biostimulatori Megafol i Viva i mikrobiološko đubrivo Slavol. Upotrebljeni biostimulatori su ostvarili značajan efekat na kvalitet rasada ehinacee. Korišćene su i različite doze (0, 1, 2, 3 i 4 g/l) spororazlagajućeg đubriva Scotts (Osmocote Extact), koje su takođe ostvarile značajan uticaj na kvalitet rasada.
