Potentiometric titration of pralidoxime chloride (2-pyridinealdoxime methochloride) with a silver indicator electrode

Abstract
It is shown that a silver indicator electrode can be used in the potentiometric titration of pralidoxime chloride [2-pyridinealdoxime methochloride (PAM-2)] with palladium(II) chloride and silver nitrate solutions. The determination of pralidoxime chloride in aqueous solutions (prepared by dissolving normal and retarded tablets) by potentiometric titration with silver nitrate is in agreement with the data obtained by the standard spectrophotometric method.
