Abstract
The influence of planting distance on fruit properties in six newly introduced strawberry cultivars (Favete, Cortina, Evita, Selene, Eris and Madeleine) and standard domestic cultivar Čačanska rana was investigated. The research was at the Experimental farm "Radmilovac", collection strawberry planting of the Faculty of Agriculture, Belgrade, over 2001 - 2002. All cultivars were grown on black polyethylene foil covered banks at different planting distances: 40 x 30, 30 x 30, 20 x 30 and 15 x 30 cm. Major parameters of physical, chemical and organoleptic properties of fruits were studied at different distances. The studies infer that larger planting distances, 30 x 30 cm and 40 x 30 cm positively influenced fruit weight and organoleptic fruit properties, whereas the influence on chemical composition of the fruits was different with different spacing. In some cultivars (Selene and Cortina) smaller planting distances positively influenced chemical fruit properties. Contrasted with the stan...dard cultivar, evaluated cultivars had higher values in respect of fruit weight and total organoleptic quality, whereas regarding the chemical properties the fruits performed differently.

Kod šest introdukovanih sorti jagode (Favete, Cortina, Evita, Selene, Eris, Madeleine) i kao standarda sorte Čačanska rana, ispitivan je uticaj rastojanja sadnje na kvalitet ploda. Ispitivanja su vršena u kolekcionom zasadu jagode Poljoprivrednog fakulteta iz Beograda, na oglednom dobru "Radmilovac" u periodu 2001 - 2002. godine. Sve sorte su gajene na bankovima prekrivenim crnom polietilenskom folijom, na rastojanjima sadnje: 40 x 30, 30 x 30, 20 x 30 i 15 x 30 cm. Proučavani su važniji pokazatelji fizičkih, hemijskih i organoleptičkih osobina ploda u funkciji različitih rastojanja sadnje. Kod većine ispitivanih sorti veća rastojanja sadnje su pozitivno uticala na masu i organoleptičke osobine ploda, dok je taj uticaj na hemijski sastav ploda različit. Kod nekih sorti (Selene i Cortina) manja rastojanja sadnje su ispoljila pozitivan uticaj na hemijske osobine ploda. U poređenju sa standardom, sve ispitivane sorte su imale veće vrednosti mase ploda i bolju ukupnu organoleptičku ocenu k...valiteta ploda, dok je u pogledu hemijskih osobina njihovo ponašanje bilo različito.
