Biological and pomological characters of the introduced apricot cultivars in the region of Belgrade
Biološko-pomološke karakteristike introdukovanih sorti kajsije u beogradskom području
Apstrakt
The paper presents the results of the study of biological and pomological characters of five introduced apricot cultivars : Ninfa, Aurora, San castrese, Sabatani and Pisana. Flowering was averagely in the third decade of March, with Ninfa as the cultivars with the earliest flowering onset and Pisana with the latest. The earliest ripening time was recorded in cv Ninfa (9th of June) and the latest in cv Pisana (24th of July). The highest average yields were recorded in cv Sabatani (39.7 kg) and the lowest in cv Pisana 21.4 kg. Cv Ninfa performed the largest fruit size, whereas cv Pisana had the smallest fruits. Fruit weight of cv Pisana was 50.03 g, whereas all other cultivars had very large fruits, exceeding 70 g. Soluble solids content ranged from 13.10% to 15.50%, total sugars values extended from 10.05% to 13.07%, inverted sugars from 6.87% to 9.12% and total acids from 1.07% to 1.83%. Cvs Ninfa and Aurora performed highest, attracting attention with their very early ripening time.
U radu su prikazani rezultati dvogodišnjih ispitivanja biološko-pomoloških osobina pet introdukovanih sorti kajsije gajenih u ekološkim uslovima Beograda. Ispoljene razlike u okviru ispitivanih osobina pružaju nam mogućnost izbora pojedinih sorti za odgovarajuće ekološke uslove.
