The influence of planting distance on vegetative potential of strawberry cultivars (Fragaria ananassa Duch)

The influence of different planting distances (15x30 cm, 20x30 cm, 30x30 cm and 40x30 cm) on more important parameters of vegetative potential in two newly introduced strawberry cultivars (Marmolada and Elsanta) and the standard cultivars (Senga Sengana) were investigated. Studies were conducted in the collective strawberry planting of the Faculty of Agriculture of Belgrade, at the Experimental school farm "Radmilovac" in the period from 2001 to 2002. Planting was done on banks covered with a black polyethylene foil, in the form of a band with two rows. The lowest values of the majority of studied parameters were recorded in smaller planting distances of 15x30 cm and 20x30 cm in all investigated cultivars, while planting distances of 30x30 cm and 40x30 cm had a positive effect on these values. The cultivars Senga Sengana (standard) expressed the greatest values in the root length number of leaves and fruitful stalk per tiller and the total leaf surface of a tiller. At the same time, th...e cultivars Elsanta had the highest values of the rosette height and the size of one leaf surface, while the greatest number of plants per tiller was recorded in the cultivars Marmolada. The other indices of vegetative potential of newly introduced strawberry cultivars were lower than of the standard cultivars.

U ovom radu su predstavljeni rezultati ogleda u kome su ispitivani uticaji četiri primenjena rastojanja sadnje 15x30 cm, 20x30 cm, 30x30 cm i 40x30 cm na važnije parametre vegetativnog potencijala kod dve novo-introdukovane sorte jagode - Marmolada i Elsanta i standard sorte (Zenga zengana). Istraživanja su vršena u kolekcionom zasadu jagode na oglednom dobru "Radmilovac" Poljoprivrednog fakulteta iz Beograda u periodu 2001-2002. godine. Sadnja je obavljena u vidu pantljika sa dva reda, na bankovima prekrivenim crnom polietilenskom folijom širine 120 cm. Najniže prosečne vrednosti većine analiziranih parametara kod svih ispitivanih sorti ostvarene su na manjim rastojanjima sadnje 15x30 i 20x30 cm, dok su veća rastojanja sadnje 30x30 cm i 40x30 cm uslovila najviše vrednosti. Među ispitivanim sortama, Zenga zengana (standard) manifestovala je najveće vrednosti dužine korena, broja listova i rodnih stabljika po bokoru i ukupne lisne površine bokora. Istovremeno su kod sorte Elsanta eviden...tirane najveće vrednosti visine rozete i veličine lisne površine jedne liske, dok je sorta Marmolada ispoljila najveći broj biljaka po bokoru. Vrednosti ostalih pokazatelja vegetativnog potencijala ispitivanih novo-introdukovanih sorti su niže u poređenju sa sortom standard.
