Alfalfa seed processing on different equipment

AB  - For the establishment and exploitation of alfalfa, the seed must be of high purity, germination, and high genetic value. Most of these requirements is realized through processing or removal of foreign matter and seeds of lower quality. Alfalfa seed processing comprises a number of operations from which the most significant are: cleaning, packaging into ambalage, labeling, storage, disinfection and disinsection. In combine harvesting of alfalfa seeds, the obtained material is a mixture of seed of grown plant, seeds of other plants-cultivated and weed, and various impurities of organic and inorganic origin. The task is to remove all foreign matter and various impurities from the natural seed and extract pure grain of primary culture. The importance of processed seed is reflected in the fact that the seed must be prepared for sowing in the most favorable condition, quality and germination. In this study natural alfalfa seed was processed on three different equipment. The aim of this research was to determine relevant parameters of all tested equipment for alfalfa seed processing. Relevant parameters that define the characteristics of equipment for seed processing were: pure seed (%), weed seeds and seeds of other crops (%), inert matter (%), the quantity of processed seed (kg), seed processing time (h), consumption of active energy (kWh) and reactive energy (kVArh), seed losses (%) and output (%). Testing was conducted at the processing center of the Institute of Forage Crops in Globoder-Kruševac, with three replications. Natural alfalfa seed with purity of 78.0%, with an extremely high content of quarantine dodder weed (Cuscuta spp.), was processed. Based on these results it is possible to select an appropriate equipment and optimize and rationalize the alfalfa seed processing.
AB  - Za zasnivanje i eksploataciju lucerke, seme mora biti visoke čistoće, klijavosti, kao i visoke genetske vrednosti. Veći deo ovih zahteva se ostvaruje kroz doradu, odnosno odstranjivanjem nečistoća i semena lošijeg kvaliteta. Dorada semena lucerke obuhvata veći broj operacija od kojih su najznačajnije: prečišćavanje, pakovanje u ambalažu, deklarisanje, skladištenje, dezinfekcija i dezinsekcija. Pri kombajniranju semenske lucerke materijal koji se dobija predstavlja mešavinu semena gajene biljke, semena drugih biljaka- kulturnih i korovskih, kao i razne nečistoće organskog i neorganskog porekla. Zadatak čišćenja je da se iz ovako dobijenog naturalnog semena sa primesama uklone sva zrna stranih primesa i razne nečistoće i izdvoji čisto zrno osnovne kulture. Značaj dorađenog semena se ogleda u tome da se seme blagovremeno pripremi u što povoljnije stanje za sejalicu i kvalitetnu setvu, klijanje i nicanje. U radu su prikazani rezultati ispitivanja naturalnog semena lucerke pri doradi na tri različita sistema mašina. Cilj ispitivanja bio je da se pri doradi semena lucerke odrede relevantni parametri za svaki sistem mašina. Relevantni parametri koji definišu karakteristike svakog sistema mašina za doradu semena bili su: čisto seme (%), seme korova i seme drugih kultura (%), inertne materije (%), količina dorađenog semena (kg), vreme dorade semena (h), utrošak aktivne električne energije (kWh) i reaktivne električne energije (kVArh), gubici semena (%) i randman dorade (%). Ispitivanje je obavljeno u doradnom centru Instituta za krmno bilje u Globoderu-Kruševcu, pri čemu je u tri ponavljanja dorađivano naturalno seme obične lucerke čistoće 78.0% sa ekstremno visokim sadržajem karantinskog korova viline kosice (Cuscuta spp.). Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata moguće je izvršiti izbor odgovarajućeg sistema mašina za doradu semena lucerke, odnosno optimizaciju i racionalizaciju u procesu njene dorade.

AB  - The aim of this research was to investigate the temperature distribution 10 cm above the soil in different conditions of lettuce production system (open filed, mulching, low tunnels, greenhouses). Based on the results, average daily temperatures were calculated. Special attention was given to the morning and temperatures in the afternoon. Results show that there is a significant increase in lettuce yield in the early production phase, for the plants that were covered with agro-textile and PE folia.

Energy and distribution parameters of the mobile wheel line sprinkler system

AB  - Importance of the irrigation does not to be explained much since water is one of the crucial parameter of life development and preservation on Earth. Development of irrigation technology and technique and their introduction in to practice represents a very important investment for every farmer. In this paper a part of mobile raining irrigation systems testing in crop and vegetable production is presented. The aim of the paper was to analyze the distribution uniformity and energy parameters of the mobile wheel line sprinkler system. Based on these parameters it is possible to optimize the system in sense of energy, ecology and economy. The system was tested in conditions of vegetable and crop production. The results show that energy consumption was 62.02 kWh/ha and productivity 0.55 ha/h. The system also showed uneven distribution and high difference compared to nominal rate. The nominal value of the irrigation rate was 15 mm but system achieved, in average, 13.12 mm.
AB  - Značaj navodnjavanja proističe iz uloge vode kao vegetacionog faktora za biljku i njenu životnu sredinu, jer je voda izvor života i uslov njegovog opstanka. Usavršavanje tehnološko tehničkih sistema i njihovo uvođenje u praksu predstavlja vrlo značajnu investiciju za svakog poljoprivrednog proizvođača. U radu je prikazan deo rezultata višegodišnjih istraživanja navodnjavanja kišenjem mobilnim uređajima nekih ratarskih i povrtarskih useva. Cilj rada je definisanje sistema za navodnjavanje kišenjem, tipa mobilno kišno krilo, sa aspekta potrošnje energije i ravnomernosti raspodele vode. Na osnovu ovih osnovnih pokazatelja moguće je izabrati optimalni sistem za navodnjavanje u funkciji energetske produktivnosti i ekološke opravdanosti korišćenja. Mobilno kišno krilo je ispitano u uslovima ratarske i povrtarske njivske proizvodnje. Prosečna potrošnja energije je iznosila 62,02 kWh/ha, a produktivnost 0,55 ha/h. Sistem je pokazao značajan nivo neravnomernosti distribucije i odstupanje od zadate norme navodnjavanja. Zadana norma navodnjavanja je iznosila 15 mm dok je ostvarena bila 13,12 mm.Rezultati analize ukazuju da je intenzivna biljna proizvodnja nezamisliva bez sistema za navodnjavanje.

Energy efficiency of the lettuce open filed and greenhouse production

AB  - Greenhouse production is still among the most energy-consuming branches of agriculture. Producers are faced with high cost of the operations involved in greenhouse production processes (climate control, fertilizing, irrigation). This is the reason why an optimal combination of energy inputs that will make this production more energy efficient, needs to be found. In this paper the influence of the production technology and greenhouse construction on energy efficiency in winter lettuce production was estimated for different double plastic covered greenhouses in Serbia region. In order to see whether the greenhouse structure influences energy consumption, energy inputs were estimated for lettuce production in the open filed and in four different greenhouse structures (a tunnel and gutter connected structure and two multi-span greenhouses). On the basis of lettuce production output and the energy input, specific energy input, energy output-input ratio and energy productivity were estimated. Results show that the lowest energy consumption was obtained for gutter connected greenhouse with two bays, 3.11 MJ/m2. The highest energy consumption was measured for the open filed lettuce production, 7.99 MJ/m2. The lowest lettuce yield was measured in the open filed production (1.89 kg/m2) and the highest in the multi-span greenhouse, GH4, (6.08 kg/m2). The highest value for output-input ratio was calculated for the multi-span greenhouse with thirteen bays, 0.85 and the lowest for the open filed production, 0.11. Regression equations show the nature of the greenhouse structure influence on these parameters.
AB  - Biljna proizvodnja u zaštićenom prostoru predstavlja granu poljoprivrede sa najvećom potrošnjom energije. Proizvođači su suočeni sa visokim troškovima pojedinih proizvodnih procesa, što predstavlja jedan od razloga potrebe pronalaženja optimalne kombinacije energetskih inputa koja bi ovu proizvodnju učinila energetski efikasnijom. U ovom radu analiziran je energetski bilans proizvodnje salate na otvorenom polju i u objektima zaštićenog prostora različite konstrukcije. Utrošak energije praćen je u proizvodnji na otvorenom i u četiri tipa objekata zaštićenog prostora. Na bazi direktnih i indirektnih energetskih inputa i energetskog outputa određeni su specifični energetski input, energetski odnos i energetska produktivnost. Rezultati pokazuju da je najniža potrošnja energije po jedinici površine ostvarena u blok objektu sa dva bloka, 3,11 MJ/m2, dok je najviša vrednost utrošene energije zabeležena u proizvodnji na otvorenom polju, 7,99 MJ/m2. Najniži prinos ostvaren je u proizvodnji salate na otvorenom polju, 1,89 kg/m2, dok je najviši prinos ostvaren u blok objektu GH4, od 6,08 kg/m2. Najviši energetski odnos ostvaren je u blok objektu sa trinaest blokova, 0,85 a najniži u proizvodnji na otvorenom polju, 0,11. Jednačine regresije su ukazale na prirodu zavisnosti energetskog bilansa sistema od izabrane konstrukcije objekta zaštićenog prostora.

abstract = "Greenhouse production is still among the most energy-consuming branches of agriculture. Producers are faced with high cost of the operations involved in greenhouse production processes (climate control, fertilizing, irrigation). This is the reason why an optimal combination of energy inputs that will make this production more energy efficient, needs to be found. In this paper the influence of the production technology and greenhouse construction on energy efficiency in winter lettuce production was estimated for different double plastic covered greenhouses in Serbia region. In order to see whether the greenhouse structure influences energy consumption, energy inputs were estimated for lettuce production in the open filed and in four different greenhouse structures (a tunnel and gutter connected structure and two multi-span greenhouses). On the basis of lettuce production output and the energy input, specific energy input, energy output-input ratio and energy productivity were estimated. Results show that the lowest energy consumption was obtained for gutter connected greenhouse with two bays, 3.11 MJ/m2. The highest energy consumption was measured for the open filed lettuce production, 7.99 MJ/m2. The lowest lettuce yield was measured in the open filed production (1.89 kg/m2) and the highest in the multi-span greenhouse, GH4, (6.08 kg/m2). The highest value for output-input ratio was calculated for the multi-span greenhouse with thirteen bays, 0.85 and the lowest for the open filed production, 0.11. Regression equations show the nature of the greenhouse structure influence on these parameters., Biljna proizvodnja u zaštićenom prostoru predstavlja granu poljoprivrede sa najvećom potrošnjom energije. Proizvođači su suočeni sa visokim troškovima pojedinih proizvodnih procesa, što predstavlja jedan od razloga potrebe pronalaženja optimalne kombinacije energetskih inputa koja bi ovu proizvodnju učinila energetski efikasnijom. U ovom radu analiziran je energetski bilans proizvodnje salate na otvorenom polju i u objektima zaštićenog prostora različite konstrukcije. Utrošak energije praćen je u proizvodnji na otvorenom i u četiri tipa objekata zaštićenog prostora. Na bazi direktnih i indirektnih energetskih inputa i energetskog outputa određeni su specifični energetski input, energetski odnos i energetska produktivnost. Rezultati pokazuju da je najniža potrošnja energije po jedinici površine ostvarena u blok objektu sa dva bloka, 3,11 MJ/m2, dok je najviša vrednost utrošene energije zabeležena u proizvodnji na otvorenom polju, 7,99 MJ/m2. Najniži prinos ostvaren je u proizvodnji salate na otvorenom polju, 1,89 kg/m2, dok je najviši prinos ostvaren u blok objektu GH4, od 6,08 kg/m2. Najviši energetski odnos ostvaren je u blok objektu sa trinaest blokova, 0,85 a najniži u proizvodnji na otvorenom polju, 0,11. Jednačine regresije su ukazale na prirodu zavisnosti energetskog bilansa sistema od izabrane konstrukcije objekta zaštićenog prostora.",

Soil structure after additional tillage

AB  - Tillage exposes the soil to different mechanisms of mechanical decomposition, which crucially change its structure. Possible approach in controlling the quality of each specified operation and complete tillage process assumes establishing the functional relations between the operational parameters of applied mechanization and resulting mass probability density function of soil particle sizes. Based on experimental data from three independent experiments, the appropriate nonlinear relationships between the mass probability density functions of different soil fractions and particle diameters of these fractions. Calculations are based on the least squares fitting method. These expressions can facilitate modeling and prediction of soil fractions distribution and tillage quality control.
AB  - Mehanizovana obrada izlaže zemljište uticaju različitih mehanizama mehaničke dekompozicije, suštinski menjajući njegovu strukturu. Mogući pristup analizi kvaliteta svake pojedinačne operacije i procesa obrade u celini podrazumeva uspostavljanje funkcionalnih veza između radnih parametara primenjene mehanizacije i rezultujuće masene raspodele frakcija obrađenog zemljišta. Na osnovu eksperimentalnih podataka iz tri nezavisna eksperimenata, formulisane su odgovarajuće nelinearne veze funkcije masene gustine verovatnoće različitih frakcija obrađene oranice i pripadajućih prečnika čestica tih frakcija. Proračun je zasnovan na metodi najmanjih kvadrata. Dobijeni izrazi mogu olakšati modeliranje i procenu veličina frakcija zemljišta, kao i kontrolu kvaliteta mehanizovane obrade oranice.

AB  - The influence of operational conditions on the reliability and tractor Massey- Ferguson 8160 service life is analyzed in the work. Experimental data have been provided by acquiring the operational parameters, malfunction details and tractor maintenance and repairment data, during the whole service life of the machines employed in the farms in Republic of Serbia. This way, relevant data base has been formulated, enabling tractor reliability and service live estimation. In addition, possible errors in tractor exploitation are evidenced, and their influence on the tractor reliability and service life is analyzed.
AB  - U radu je analiziran uticaj uslova eksploatacije na pouzdanost i radni vek traktora tipa Massey-Ferguson 8160. Eksperimentalni podaci su prikupljeni praćenjem eksploatacionih parametara, kvarova i održavanja traktora u toku celokupnog radnog veka na poljima u Republici Srbiji. Time su obezbeđeni relevantni podaci koji predstavljaju polaznu osnovu za procenu eksploatacionog veka posmatranih tipova traktora. Pored toga, na osnovu baze podataka formirane prikupljanjem podataka sa terena, uočene su moguće greške u eksploataciji traktora i analiziran njihov uticaj na radni vek mašine.

AB  - Food packaging science is a discipline which applies the principles from four major areas of science (material science, food science, information science and socioeconomics) in order to understand the properties of packaging materials, the packaging requirements of food, the packaging systems etc. In the food packaging industry market response is an initiating force for the food packaging technology development. In this paper an overview of food packaging technology is given as well as most important packaging functions and environments. The typical food packaging development process which may serve as a guide for designing food packaging systems is also presented. The paper gives the examples of analyzing food packaging systems and food packaging levels that can be optimized to provide the most efficient solution.
AB  - Proces pakovanja hrane ima podjednaku važnost kao i sam proces proizvodnje hrane. Kao finalni postupak u veoma kompleksnom procesu proizvodnje hrane u sistemu 'od njive do trpeze' tehnološko-tehnički sistem pakovanja mora da zadovolji višestruke kriterijume koji su, često, i u suprotnosti. Poznavanje ambalaže i procesa pakovanja poljoprivrednih i prehrambenih proizvoda može znatno olakšati postupke projektovanja i optimizacije transporta i skladištenja na imanjima i, samim tim, dovede do određenih ušteda kako u energetskom tako i u ekonomskom pogledu. Sam krajnji cilj ambalaže i pakovanja poljoprivrednih i prehrambenih proizvoda je svakako dvojak i to, najpre, održavanje kvaliteta upakovanog proizvoda ali i komercijalni u smislu što boljeg reklamiranja upakovane robe. Tehnološko-tehnički sistemi pakovanja hrane se mogu posmatrati sa više aspekata i to sa aspekta nauke o materijalima za pakovanje, zatim sa aspekta nauke o hrani i o samom procesu njene proizvodnje, kroz informacione tehnologije i sa socio-ekonomskog aspekta. Cilj rada je da prikaže osnove tehnologije pakovanja kao i najznačajnije funkcije pakovanja i ambalažiranja poljoprivrednih i prehrambenih proizvoda. U radu su dati i primeri mogućih analiza tehnološko-tehničkih sistema pakovanja čija primena za ishod ima optimalno tehnološko-tehničko rešenje sistema pakovanja prehrambenih proizvoda. Dati primeri se mogu posmatrati kao praktični saveti koji kombinuju elemente funkcije ambalaže i socio-ekonomske parametre kao i elemente funkcije ambalaže i ekologije. U daljem toku rada prikazani su osnovni elementi i uticajni faktori razvoja tehnološko-tehničkog sistema pakovanja prehrambenih proizvoda. Ovde se najpre misli na određivanje samih potreba proizvoda koji se pakuje, zatim na analizu materijala od koga je izrađena ambalaža i na tehničke sisteme pakovanja kao i na evaluaciju izrađenog prototipa i njegovo konačno pojavljivanje na tržištu.

AB  - In the process of alfalfa seed processing, all relevant parameters are directly dependant on presence of weed species and other impurities in natural seed, as well as on the equipment used. The higher amount of weed in natural alfalfa seed lowers the total amount of processed seed, making the processing harder and more expensive. In alfalfa crop, quarantine weeds are especially harmful, such as dodder (Cuscuta spp.) and curly dock (Rumex spp.). One of the greatest problems in alfalfa planting is the presence of harmful parasitic flowering plant dodder (Cuscuta spp.) which is typical weed - alfalfa parasite that lowers hay and seed production. The paper shows the results of the analysis of influence different weed content from two lots of natural alfalfa seed (I, II) of different purity, on the relevant processing parameters. Processing of the both lots of seed was done on the same equipment. The relevant parameters that define alfalfa seed processing effects were: pure seed (%), weed seeds and seeds of other cultures (%), inert matters (%), seed processing time (h), consumption of active (kWh) and reactive power (kVArh), processed seed quantity (kg), metal powder (kg) and water (l) consumption, processing output (%) and seed losses (%).
AB  - U procesu dorade semena lucerke svi relevantni parametri dorade direktno zavise od zastupljenosti korovskih vrsta i ostalih primesa u naturalnom semenu, kao i od sistema mašina koji se koristi za doradu. Veći sadržaj štetnih korova u naturalnom semenu lucerke smanjuje ukupnu količinu dorađenog semena, otežava i poskupljuje doradu. U usevu lucerke posebno su štetni karantinski korovi, vilina kosica (Cuscuta spp.) i štavelj (Rumex spp.). Jedan od najvećih problema u gajenju lucerke je prisustvo štetne parazitske cvetnice viline kosice (Cuscuta spp.) koja je tipičan korov - parazit lucerke koji smanjuje proizvodnju sena i semena. U radu su prikazani rezultati analize uticaja različitog sadržaja semena korova u dve partije naturalnog semena lucerke (I, II) različitih čistoća, na relevantne parametre dorade. Dorada obe partije semena obavljala se na istom sistemu mašina. Usage of heat pump in livestock husbandry

AB  - In order to save and rationally use energy, the usage of heat pumps is getting ever more attention. Producers and distributors of heat pump systems have accumulated certain experience when it comes to using them for individual house heat supply, mainly in the form of floor heating. However, it is possible to use the heat energy obtained by a heat pump for different processes within agricultural production, including the heating of protected spaces for piglets (sucklings and weaned). Research results have established that different exploitation conditions in dwelling houses and live-stock premises demand careful estimation of heat pump type to be used in the pigsty. The more essential factor effecting the heat pump operation is the temperature of the heating surface, which for the floor heating in general, ranges between 25-30°C, but in the case of piglets and concrete floor panels, this temperature should range between 35-40°C. To increase the efficiency rate of heat pump, of particular interest is the microclimate control in livestock husbandry buildings. For that purpose, specially important is the usage of wet scrubber systems for air purification with low pressure drop. Besides the possibility of reducing the risk of microorganisms, organic and mineral dust, in interaction with heat pump, it is also possible to significantly increase energy saving, and improve the technological process output by increasing the quality of basic product and environment protection.
AB  - Radi uštede i racionalnog koršćenja energije, sve veća pažnja posvećuje se upotrebi toplotnih pumpi. Proizvođači i propagatori sistema toplotne pumpe akumulirali su pouzdana iskustva njihovog korišćenja u formi snabdevača toplote za domaćinstva, uglavnom putem sistema toplog poda. Moguća je upotreba toplotne energije dobijene toplotnom pumpom za različite procese u poljoprivredi, uključujući prasad, kako u prasilištima, tako i odgajivalištima, radi zagrevanja njihovih odmarališta. Na osnovu različitih eksploatacionih uslova u stanarskim i objektima za krupnu stoku, rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na značaj pažljive procene tipa toplotne pumpe za upotrebu, posebno u oborima za uzgoj svinja. Najesencijalniji faktor, koji deluje na efektivnost operativnosti toplotne pumpe, jeste temperatura zagrevne površine stambenih prostora zagrevanih sistemom toplog poda 25-30°C, dok je za odmarališna mesta prasadi zagrevana betonskim podnim panelom u okviru limita 35-40°C. Za povećanje koeficijenta efikasnosti vazdušne toplotne pumpe, od posebnog interesa je regulacija mikroklimata u stočarskim objektima. U tu svrhu, od posebnog interesa je upotreba vlažnih filtera za vazduh sa niskim padom pritiska. Pored mogućnosti redukcije opasnosti od mikroorganizama, organske i mineralne prašine, u interakciji sa toplotnom pumpom, moguće su značajne uštede toplotne energije, poboljšanja outputa tehnološkog procesa sa povišenjem kvaliteta baznog proizvoda i zaštite životne sredine.

Energy consumption in the open field and greenhouse tomato production

AB  - The aim of this paper is to analyze energy patterns in open and greenhouse tomato production, since tomato is very important vegetable in human nutrition with tendency to be used whole year. The greenhouses used were one tunnel structure, covered with double PE folia, 5 x 20 m and one gutter-connected double PE covered structure 21m wide and 250m long. The results obtained lead to the conclusion that lower specific energy per production surface can be expected in conditions of the open filed and that, regarding the greenhouses lower value for energy consumption can be expected in case of multi-span greenhouses. The results show that there are differences in yield as well as in energy consumption between the open and the greenhouse tomato production. The highest yield was measured in the gutter-connected greenhouse, 23.78 kg/m2 and lowest in the open filed, 17 kg/m2. The direct and the indirect energy input measured show that the lower specific energy consumption per production surface can be expected in the open filed compared to the greenhouse tomato production. The lowest energy input per kilogram of product was measured for the gutter-connected greenhouse, of 0.89 MJ/kg, and the highest for the tunnel structure, 1.21 MJ/kg. The highest energy productivity was measured for the gutterconnected structure, 1.12 kg/MJ and the lowest for the tunnel structure, 0.83 MJ/kg. Based on the energy consumption and the energy output it can be seen that the tomato production in the open filed is less energy demanding compared to the tomato production in the greenhouses. The structure of energy inputs shows that 80 up to 90% of the total energy consumption is based on indirect energy inputs, mostly fertilizers, human labor and water for irrigation. Results also show that energy consumption must be analyzed together with the energy output. Greenhouse structures had better ratio between yield and energy consumption compared to the open filed production system. This has also led to the higher energy productivity in the greenhouse tomato production systems.
AB  - S obzirom na intenzivnost korišćenja paradajza u ljudskoj ishrani, za proizvođače je od izuzetnog značaja energetska, ekonomska i ekološka efikasnost proizvodnje.S obzirom na to da se paradajz gaji kako na otvorenom tako i u objektima zaštićenog prostora cilj istraživanja je bio analiza proizvodnje na otvorenom polju i u objektima zaštićenog prostora tunel i blok tipa s aspekta potrošnje energije i energetske efikasnosti. Objekat tunel tipa dimenzija je 5 x 20 m i pokriven je dvostrukom 180 μm PE UV IR folijom. Blok objekat je sa dva broda, dimenzija 21 x 250 m pokriven dvostrukom PE UV IR folijom. Rezultati ukazuju na razlike kako u prinosu tako i u potrošnji energije i energetskoj efikasnosti u proizvodnji na otvorenom i u objektima zaštićenog prostora. Najviši prinos ostvaren je u blok objektu od 23,78 kg/m2 a najniži na otvorenom polju od 17 kg/m2. Izmereni utrošak materijala i ljudskog rada u vidu direktnih i indirektnih inputa ukazuje da se niža potrošnja energije po jedinici površine može očekivati na otvorenom, a da se, kada su objekti zaštićenog prostora u pitanju niža potrošnja energije može očekivati kod objekata veće specifične zapremine, tj. objekata blok tipa. Najniži energetski input po kilogramu proizvoda ostvaren je u blok plasteniku, 0,89 MJ/kg, a najviši u objektu tunel tipa, 1,21 MJ/kg. Kada se govori o energetskoj produktivnosti u blok objektu je utvrđena najviša vrednost od 1,12 kg/MJ, dok je u objektu tunel tipa bila najniža i iznosila je 0,83 kg/MJ.

Najniži energetski input po kilogramu proizvoda ostvaren je u blok plasteniku, 0,89 MJ/kg, a najviši u objektu tunel tipa, 1,21 MJ/kg. Kada se govori o energetskoj produktivnosti u blok objektu je utvrđena najviša vrednost od 1,12 kg/MJ, dok je u objektu tunel tipa bila najniža i iznosila je 0,83 kg/MJ.",

AB  - In this paper the influence of greenhouse construction on energy efficiency in winter lettuce production was estimated for different double plastic covered greenhouses in Serbia region. In order to see whether the greenhouse structure influences energy consumption, energy inputs were estimated for lettuce production in four different greenhouse structures (a tunnel and gutter connected structure and three multi-span greenhouses). On the basis of lettuce production output and the energy input, specific energy input, energy output-input ratio and energy productivity were estimated. Results show that the lowest energy consumption was obtained for gutter connected greenhouse with two bays, 3.11 MJ/m2. The highest energy consumption was multi-span greenhouse with thirteen bays, 3.30 MJ/m2. The highest value for output-input ratio was calculated for the multi-span greenhouse with thirteen bays, 0.85 and the lowest for the tunnel structure, 0.47. Regression equations show the nature of the greenhouse structure influence on these parameters.
AB  - U ovom radu analiziran je uticaj konstrukcije objekata zaštićenog prostora na energetski bilans zimske proizvodnje salate. Utrošak energije praćen je u četiri tipa objekata zaštićenog prostora i na bazi direktnih i indirektnih energetskih inputa i energetskog outputa određeni su specifični energetski input, energetski odnos i energetska produktivnost. Rezultati pokazuju da je najniža potrošnja energije po jedinici površine ostvarena u blok objektu sa dva bloka, 3,11 MJ/m2, dok je najviša vrednost utrošene energije zabeležena u blok objektu sa trinaest blokova, 3,30 MJ/m2. Najviši energetski odnos ostvaren je u blok objektu sa trinaest blokova, 0,85 a najniži u objektu tunel tipa, 0,47. AB  - The paper is a synthesis of several years long research on rain irrigation with the mobile linear system, in some arable crops and vegetables. The research program included analysis of parameters that influence uniformity of mobile linear irrigation. The main research goal was to define the energetic indicators, as well as indicators of function quality, and their influence on defining of irrigation uniformity according to the predefined irrigation rate.
AB  - Rad predstavlja sintezu višegodišnjih istraživanja navodnjavanja kišenjem mobilnim linearnim uređajem nekih ratarskih i povrtarskih useva. Program istraživanja je obuhvatio analizu parametara koji utiču na ravnomernost navodnjavanja mobilnog linearnog sistema. Cilj istraživanja je utvrđivanje energetskih parametara, pokazatelja kvaliteta rada i njihovog uticaja na ravnomernost navodnjavanja prema zadatoj normi.

AB  - The aim of this paper is to analyze energy patterns in open and greenhouse tomato production, since tomato is very important vegetable in human nutrition with tendency to be used whole year. Concerning the high energy consumption in greenhouse production a comparison with open filed tomato production was found to be interesting. Data used in the study were obtained from the experiment carried out on a private property 140 km south from Belgrade. In the study, energy values were calculated by multiplying the amount of inputs and outputs by the related energy conversion factors. The same tomato varieties were planted in open filed and in the greenhouse at the same time. The greenhouse used was gutter-connected double PE covered structure 21 m wide and 250 m long. According to energy output (yield per m2) parameters for estimating tomato production energy efficiency were calculated (energy input per kg of product, energy out/in ratio and energy productivity).
AB  - Cilj ovog rada jeste analiza potrošnje energije u proizvodnji paradajza na otvorenom i u objektima zaštićenog prostora. Ispitivanje je obavljeno na privatnom imanju 120 km južno od Beograda. Paradajz je gajen na otvorenom polju i u dvobrodnom plasteniku pokrivenom dvostrukom PE folijom, dužine 250 m i širine 21 m. Na osnovu energetskih inputa i ostvarenog energetskog outputa utvrđene su energetska efikasnost, specifični energetski input i energetska produktivnost za oba tehnološko-tehnička sistema proizvodnje.

AB  - Obzirom na intenzivnost korišćenja paradajza u ljudskoj ishrani, za proizvođače je od izuzetnog značaja energetska, ekonomska i ekološka efikasnost proizvodnje. Obzirom da se paradajz gaji kako na otvorenom tako i u objektima zaštićenog prostora cilj istraživanja je bio analiza proizvodnje na otvorenom polju i u objektima zaštićenog prostora tunel i blok tipa sa aspekta potrošnje energije i energetske efikasnosti. Objekat tunel tipa dimenzija je 5 x 20 m i pokriven je dvostrukom 180μm PE UV IR folijom. Blok objekat je sa dva broda, dimenzija 21 x 250 m pokriven dvostrukom PE UV IR folijom. Rezultati ukazuju da se niža potrošnja energije po jedinici površine može očekivati na otvorenom, a da se, kada su objekti zaštićenog prostora u pitanju niža potrošnja energije može očekivati kod objekata veće specifične zapremine tj. objekata blok tipa.

AB  - Proper choice and efficient utilization of various technological-technical application systems still has a significant importance concerning ecology, energy and economy in agriculture. Due to the predominant practice of using granulated mineral fertilizers an analysis of mineral fertilizer processing including its production, manipulation and application was made. Physical and mechanical characteristics of mineral fertilizers and fertilizer reaction with the application systems are of outmost importance in fertilizer application system choice. Successful utilization of mineral fertilizers predominantly depends upon the interaction between mineral fertilizers physical-mechanical characteristics and the appropriate type of spreader. The aim of this paper was to analyze working quality of two centrifugal spreaders in relation to physical properties of applied fertilizers in the conditions of seed-bed preparation for corn seeding.
AB  - Značaj mineralnih đubriva u savremenoj biljnoj proizvodnji kako u agrotehničkom i ekološkom pogledu aktuelizuje izbor i efikasno korišćenje tehnološkotehnoloških sistema aplikacije. Dominantna praksa korišćenja čvrstih mineralnih đubriva (granulata) nameće celovitu analizu procesa mineralnih đubriva koji podrazumeva proizvodnju, manipulaciju i aplikaciju. Interakcija fizičko-mehaničkih svojstava mineralnih đubriva i tipa rasipača od presudnog je značaja za uspešnost primene ovih đubriva. Cilj ovog rada bila je analiza kvaliteta rada centrifugalnih aparata u kontekstu fizičko-mehaničkih osobina primenjenih đubriva. Ispitivanjem su obuhvaćena dva rasipača centrifugalnog tipa tokom predsetvene pripreme za setvu kukuruza.

Physical and mechanical characteristics of mineral fertilizers and fertilizer reaction with the application systems are of outmost importance in fertilizer application system choice. Successful utilization of mineral fertilizers predominantly depends upon the interaction between mineral fertilizers physical-mechanical characteristics and the appropriate type of spreader. The aim of this paper was to analyze working quality of two centrifugal spreaders in relation to physical properties of applied fertilizers in the conditions of seed-bed preparation for corn seeding., Značaj mineralnih đubriva u savremenoj biljnoj proizvodnji kako u agrotehničkom i ekološkom pogledu aktuelizuje izbor i efikasno korišćenje tehnološkotehnoloških sistema aplikacije. Dominantna praksa korišćenja čvrstih mineralnih đubriva (granulata) nameće celovitu analizu procesa mineralnih đubriva koji podrazumeva proizvodnju, manipulaciju i aplikaciju. Interakcija fizičko-mehaničkih svojstava mineralnih đubriva i tipa rasipača od presudnog je značaja za uspešnost primene ovih đubriva. Cilj ovog rada bila je analiza kvaliteta rada centrifugalnih aparata u kontekstu fizičko-mehaničkih osobina primenjenih đubriva. Ispitivanjem su obuhvaćena dva rasipača centrifugalnog tipa tokom predsetvene pripreme za setvu kukuruza.",

AB  - In this paper structure direct energy input in mercantile corn production is presented with special review on: energy consumption for tillage and seeding in different tillage technology as well as energy consumption for irrigation and harvesting. In these technologies only fuel was concerned as direct energy input. Its specific energy value of 42 MJ/kg was used for calculations. Obtain parameters can be used for optimization and rationalization of corn production.
AB  - U radu je prikazana struktura direktnih energetski inputa u proizvodnji merkantilnog kukuruza sa posebnim osvrtom na: uloženu energiju za osnovnu i dopunsku obradu zemljišta i setvu primenom različitih sistema i uloženu energiju za navodnjavanje i ubiranje. Ovi inputi su prikazani preko potrošnje goriva čija je toplotna moć 42 MJ/kg. Dobijenim parametrima se može izvršiti optimizacija i racionalizacija u proizvodnji kukuruza.

AB  - Highly intensive greenhouse production can't be imagined without permanent control and surveliance of production conditions and plant health. Concerning regulations limitating the presence of pesticide and minimizing the impact of overall program on the environment, most producers are accepting integrated pest management (IPM) as a concept of plant protection. Main parts of this concept are prevention, surveillance and control. Covering materials and insect screens, UV lamps and sticky traps are proposed as a method for insect exclusion from greenhouses. The aim of this paper is to show the possibilities and effects of using UV absorbing materials. Criteria for insect screen selection are also presented together with possibilities of UV lamp usage in eliminating insects from greenhouses. The influence of applying IPM concept on energy consumption and chemicals savings in production processes is given.
AB  - Visoko intenzivna biljna proizvodnja u zaštićenom prostoru podrazumeva stalnu kontrolu i praćenje proizvodnih uslova i zdravstvenog stanja useva. Obzirom na sve strožije regulative o primeni hemijskih zaštitnih sredstava, zatim na otpornost insekata na određene pesticide, na sve strožije kriterijume potrošača u smislu zdravstveno bezbedne hrane, poljoprivredni proizvođači se, sve češće, opredeljuju za koncept integralne zaštite bilja. U osnovi ovog koncepta, u objektima zaštićenog prostora, su prevencija, praćenje i kontrola. Kao mogući načini prevencije primenljivi su pokrivni materijali i mreže protiv insekata, i, kao metode mehaničkog odstranjenja insekata iz objekata, lepljive trake različitih boja i UV lampe. Cilj ovog rada je da prikaže mogućnosti i efekte korišćenja UV apsorbujućih pokrivnih materijala, zatim da analizira kriterijume izbora mreža protiv insekata i mogućnost primene specijalnih UV apsorbujućih lampi u smanjenju broja insekata u objektu a samim tim i uticaj navedenih tehnologija na potrošnju hemijskih zaštitnih sredstava i energetski bilans biljne proizvodnje u zaštićenom prostoru.

AB  - This research has included two different raining irrigation systems, both rain gun and mobile linear system. According to the calculations, can be concluded that those two systems work with different pressures, which causes different losses in the pipe line. Reason for significantly higher losses (1,7 bar) and consequently higher energy consumption (131 kW/ha) at self propelled rain gun is that water energy in this case is used for rolling the hose and movement of the sprinkler. At mobile linear system, the movement is propelled by electro motors and, at the same time, this system works with significantly lower pressures, which means lower energy consumption, as well (45,28 kW/ha).
AB  - Istraživanjima su obuhvaćena dva različita sistema navodnjavanja kišenjem i to samohodni kišni top i mobilni linearni sistem. Na osnovu proračuna može se zaključiti da ova dva sistema rade sa različitim pritiscima, a samim time i gubitci u cevovodu su različiti. Razlog znatno većim gubicima (1,7 bar), a time i većoj potrošnji energije (131 kW/ha) kod samohodnog kišnog topa leži u činjenici da se energija vode u ovom slučaju koristi za namotavanje creva odnosno za kretanje prskača. Kod mobilnog linearnog sistema za kretanje se koriste elektro motori, a sem toga ovaj sistem radi sa znatno nižim pritiscima pa je samim time i potrošnja energije manja (45,28 kW/ha).
