AB  - At present, tractor represent the major power unit in agricultural production and it is expected to remain so. Structure of tractor-machinery couples is influenced by crop production structure, soil structure, tractor conceptions and category, average surface area etc. This paper presents relevant parameters that define the structure of tractors-machinery couples in soil tillage, as well as the power consumption in these processes. These variables simultaneously represents the input data in optimizing the tractors-machinery systems in different variants of soil tillage technology. The aim of the paper is to optimize tractor systems.
AB  - Traktor predstavlja osnovu traktorsko-mašinskog agregata i osnovnu pogonsku jedinicu u savremenoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji. Smatra se da će to ostati i u budućnosti. Na strukturu traktorsko-mašinskog agregata utiče niz parametara, od kojih su najvažniji: struktura setve, zemljišni uslovi, koncepcija i kategorija traktora, veličina poseda itd. U radu su definisani parametri koji utiču na strukturu traktorsko mašinskih agregata za obradu zemljišta, kao i potrošnja energije u pomenutim procesima. Ove veličine su ujedno ulazni podaci za optimizaciju traktorskih sistema u različitim varijantama tehnologije obrade zemljišta. Optimizacija traktorskih sistema za obradu zemljišta je cilj ovoga rada.

Influence of greenhouse covering material on energy consumption

AB  - Greenhouse production in Serbia region is, in most cases, carried out in tunnel structures covered with single or double PE folia. Reason for this is greenhouse coverings and structures market which is pretty much uniform with tunnel structures offers to the growers. Growers enter this sophisticated plant production system with lack of information about energy efficiency as well as economical aspect of purchasing specific structure. Main problem with greenhouse production comes with winter production, when heating is needed. In this period coverings and structures show their quality. Aim of this paper is analysis of lettuce winter greenhouse production in tunnel structures using direct/indirect energy input analysis. Result show that tunnel structures covered with single PE folia and with smaller specific volume per meter of length.
AB  - Proizvodnja u zaštićenom prostoru se, u Srbiji, dominantno odvija u objektima tunel tipa pokrivenim jednostrukom ili dvostrukom folijom. Razlog tome je samo tržište pokrivnih materijala i konstrukcije koje nudi gotova tehnička rešenja poluvisokih i visokih tunela, sada već ustaljenih dimenzija. Proizvođači ulaze u ovaj sistem sofisticirane biljne proizvodnje sa nedovoljno informacija o energetskoj efikasnosti a samim tim i ekonomskoj opravdanosti ulaganja u određeni tip objekta. Najveći problem kod proizvodnje u zaštićenom prostoru je proizvodnja izvan sezone tj. u zimskom periodu. Tada karakteristike materijala i konstrukcije pokazuju sve svoje prednosti i nedostatke. Cilj istraživanja je utvrđivanje energetske efikasnosti proizvodnje zelene salate u zaštićenom prostoru preko energetskih inputa varijanti tehnološko-tehničkih proizvodnih sistema za objekte tunel tipa pokrivene jednostrukom i dvostrukom folijom. Rezultati ukazuju da najvišu specifičnu potrošnju energije imaju objekti tunel tipa pokriveni jednostrukom folijom sa najmanjom proizvodnom površinom a da viši stepen iskorišćenja energije imaju tuneli veće specifične zapremine po jedinici dužine, pokriveni dvostrukom folijom.

AB  - Intensive plant production can not be imagined without irrigation. Support to this fact is that 18% of the total arable land in the world is irrigated, and the agricultural production from this area is equal to the total production of agricultural products from the rest of non irrigated area, which is 6 times larger. Irrigation in our country is under the real possibilities and needs, is provided on small areas and doesn’t influence significantly the agricultural production. Irrigation with raining on the slopes is very important because of potential of the hilly region in Serbia. Specific limitations of work on slopes, firstly because of protection from erosion, are directly influencing the selection and working regime of irrigation system.
AB  - Intenzivna biljna proizvodnja nezamisliva je bez navodnjavanja. U prilog ovoj činjenici ide i podatak da se u svetu navodnjava 18% ukupno obradivih površina sa kojih se dobija isto onoliko poljoprivrednih proizvoda kao sa ostalih oko 6 puta većih nenavodnjavanih površina. U našoj zemlji navodnjava se ispod realnih mogućnosti i stvarnih potreba, obavlja se na malim površinama i ne utiče posebno na obim poljoprivredne proizvodnje. Navodnjavanje kišenjem na nagibima ima veliki značaj obzirom na potencijal brdskog područja u Srbiji. Specifičnosti uzrokovane ograničenjima u radu na nagibu, pre svega sprečavanju izazivanja erozije, direktno se reflektuje na izbor i režim rada sistema za navodnjavanje.

AB  - This paper provides the synthesis of long lasting research of mobile raining irrigation systems in crop and vegetable production. The research included three types of mobile self-propelled rain guns and one linear representing both broadcasting and covering concepts. The paper is aimed at determining exploitation parameters and yielding effects in cropping. Field testing and exploitation monitorning in adequate seasonal use provided the indicators of energy consumption, productivity and work quality. The productivity of self-propelled rain guns ranged from 0.11 to 0.20 ha/h with energy consumption from 104 to 150.20 kWh/ha. The linear productivity ranged between 2.0 anri 2.6 ha/h with energy consumption of 45,37 k Wh/ha. Extremely significant yield increase was recorded in green beans, maize (corn, popcorn, sweet corn) and seed maize production in comparison to dry cropping alternative.
AB  - Ovaj rad predstavlja sintezu višegodišnjih istraživanja mobilnih sistema navodnjavanja kišenjem u ratarskoj i povrtarskoj proizvodnji. Istraživanjima je obuhvaćeno tri tipa mobilnih sistema navodnjavanja kišenjem tipa samohodnog kišnog topa i jednog mobilnog linearnog sistem kao predstavnika pokrivajuće koncepcije. Cilj rada je određivanje eksploatacionih parametara i efekata na prinos gajenih kultura. Poljskim ogledima i eksploatativnim praćenjem u sezonama primene utvrđeni su pokazatelji potrošnje energije, proizvodnosti i kvaliteta rada. Produktivnost samohodnih kišnih topova iznosila je od 0.11 do 0.20 ha/h sa potrošnjom energije od 104 do 150.2 kWh/ha. Produktivnost linearnog sistema iznosila je 2.0 do 2.6 ha/h sa potrošnjom energije od 45.37 kWh/ha. Posebno značajno povećanje prinosa je bilo zabeleženo kod graška, kukuruza i semenskog kukuruza u poređenju sa uslovima bez navodnjavanja.

AB  - In this work was taken into consideration alternative use of agricultural aviation, with reference to using the newest technologies and highly qualified staff that executed mentioned technological operations. These high technologies are used in a fine and detailed way, with the strong scientific base. These scientific studies showed the potential possibilities of using aero planes, emphasizing the results of various scientific institutions and the success and efficiency of mentioned technological operations.
AB  - U radu je razmatrana alternativna primena poljoprivredne avijacije, odnosno korišćenje najnovijih tehnologija i visokokvalifikovanog kadra za sprovođenje navedenih tehnoloških operacija, kod kojih se visoke tehnologije koriste na prefinjen i obuhvatan način sa jakom naučnom osnovom. Ova izučavanja su pokazala potencijalne mogućnosti primene aviona, isticanje rezultata raznih naučnih ustanova, kao i uspeh i delotvornost navedenih tehnoloških operacija.

AB  - Istraživanje je pokazalo da se ispitivanim makazama najlakše režu grančice višnje, breskve, šljive i jabuke. Kod jabuke, za prečnike grančica do 6,9 mm najbolje su se pokazale makaze platinium 11/23, a za prečnike grančica veće od 7,00 mm najbolje su bile makaze kuker. Slično je bilo i kod višnje s tim što su makaze kuker bile bolje za dijametar grančica većih od 8,00 mm. Kod šljive i breskve najbolje su se pokazale makaze kuker.

AB  - In this paper different greenhouse structures were analyzed regarding energy consumption and energy productivity in winter lettuce production. Greenhouse production is still among most energy consuming branches in agriculture with very high investments and annually costs. This is the reason why plastic covering are introduced as mean of making this kind of plant production more efficient. Also, as a mean of lowering energy consumption, tunnel structures are proposed. Three different double plastic covered greenhouses were used for energy analysis. Two tunnel types, 9x 58m and 8 x 25m covered with double 180μm PE UV IR folia, and one gutter connected plastic covered greenhouse 7 x 39m. Inner folia was 50μm and outside folia was 180μm. Results show lowest energy consumption for gutter connected greenhouse. Energy out/in ration was also higher in gutter connected greenhouse. Highest energy consumptions was obtained in tunnel 8 x 25m.
AB  - Obzirom da je proizvodnja u zaštićenom prostoru grana poljoprivrede sa najvećom potrošnjom energije i najvišim godišnjim troškovima, proizvođačima se na tržištu nude različiti oblici konstrukcije, pre svega konstrukcije tunel tipa u varijantama sa jednostrukom i dvostrukom folijom, kao ekonomski i energetski najefikasniji. U radu su analizirani, sa aspekta potrošnje energije, najčešće korišćeni oblici konstrukcije objekata zaštićenog prostora na teritoriji Srbije. Dva objekta tunel tipa, 9 x 58 m i 8 x 25 m pokriveni dvostrukom 180μm PE UV IR folijom, i blok objekat sa dva broda 14 x 39 m pokriven dvostrukom folijom (unutrašnja 50μm, spoljašnja 180μm). Rezultati pokazuju da je najniža specifična potrošnja energije ostvarena u blok objektu. Stepen iskorišćenja energije je takođe bio viši kod blok objekta. Najviša specifična potrošnja energije ostvarena je u objektu tunel tipa 8 x 25 m.

Tobacco transportation and storaging systems

AB  - Main factors that determine tobacco productions are soil composition and soil preparation, quality seedling material, high level of mechanized processes transportation, drying and storage. All these factors are interconnected and have very important role in production of high quality tobacco. In this paper analysis of tobacco production technology was show with special regard to transportation and storage systems. Field trials were carried out in 2005/06 in Inđija region. Special attention was given to transportation of fresh tobacco lives because they are very sensitive and must be stored to dryers as quick as possible.
AB  - Osnovni faktori uspešnosti proizvodnje duvana su adekvatna priprema zemljišta, kvalitetan sadni materijal, visok stepen mehanizovanosti procesa poštovanje agrotehničkih rokova, transport, sušenje i pravilno skladištenje. Svi ovi procesi su međusobno povezani i značajno utiču na kvalitet sušenog duvana. U radu je data analiza tehnološkog postupka transporta duvana i analiza skladištenja sušenog duvana na ekonomskom dvorištu. Ogledi su izvedeni 2005 i 2006 godine u ataru sela Maradik u opštini Inđija. Akcenat je stavljen na transport zelenog duvana u procesu berbe, jer je to period kada su ubrani listovi naročito osetljivi, pa je od velike važnosti da period od branja do smeštanja duvana u sušare bude što je moguće kraći.

The effects of mechanized pruning of apple

AB  - The paper shows the results of the three year long experiments with hidraulic pruner HR-85 for pruning apple kinds (Starking Delicious, Jonathan, Golden Delicious) on stock seedling. The increase of height band width of crown during the period of investigation was different and was dependent of kind way of pruning and years of investigation. Necessary time for pruning ranged with: mechanized pruning from 14,47 (Jonathan) to 17,59 s/tree(Starking Delicious); mechanized pruning with hand correction from 569,46 (Golden Delicious) to 585,79 s/tree (Starking Delicious); with hand pruning from 832,53 (Jonathan) to 976,60 s/tree (Golden Delicious). Average working speed was 2,18 (Starking Delicious) to 2,64 km/h (Golden Delicious). The efficiency of the pruner is 52,24 (Starking Delicious) to 64,82 (Golden Delicious) times higher than manual pruning. On the basis of investigation it was established that with: Starking Delicious kind there is the influence of way of pruning to the yield; Jonathan and Golden Delicious kinds there is no the influence of way of pruning to the yield.
AB  - U radu su dati trogodišnji rezultati ispitivanja hidrauličnog rezača HR-85 u rezidbi jabuke (starking, jonatan, zlatni delišes) na podlozi sejanac. Prirast visine i širine krune u ispitivanom periodu bio je različit i zavisio je od sorte, načina rezidbe i godine ispitivanja. Vreme za rezidbu kretalo se kod mehanizovane rezidbe od 14,47 (jonatan) do 17,59 (starking) s/stablo mehanizovane rezidbe sa ručnom korekcijom od 569,46 (zlatni delišes) do 585,79 (starking) s/stablo; kod ručne rezidbe od 832,53 (jonatan) do 976,60 (zlatni delišes) s/stablo. Kod jabuke starking postoji, a kod jabuka jonatan i zlatni delišes ne postoji uticaj različitih načina rezidbe na prinos.

Effect of constructive solutions for sprayers on the quality of drift control and its decrease

AB  - In Serbia classical sprayers with axial low-spray ventilators are still used in pest and disease control in fruit growing. These sprayers are characterized by huge amounts of air discharged into uncontrollable directions. However, the amount of energy utilized is enormous, the quality of control very poor which eventually contributes to environmental pollution. Currently there are various technical solutions for solving the issue in practice. These solutions however have not been tested on scientifically proved grounds in order to enable the right choice of machinery for the use in fruit growing. Considering the above said the need arises to conduct a comparative study of a few technical solutions from the standpoint of exploitation and constructive use in fruit growing. The classical sprayer with low axial spraying ventilars was the control. The investigation also included: a sprayer pointing its air current backward at askance and a sprayer with flexible tubes (OFC) pointing upward at an angle of 20 and 40°. Treatments were conducted in two types of orchards differing in leaf density. The conclusion which emerges is a 20% better quality of the control conducted with sprayers having axial ventilators and flexible tubes and a 30% gain of the preparation used in comparison with the classical sprayer. There were no differences in less dense fruit trees planted at a 3 m distance. The effect of the treatments on the uniformity of the distribution was insignificant. Sprayers with flexible tubes at an angle of 40° tended to increase the variation of the deposited preparation in less dense trees in comparison with dense tree crowns. AB  - Pri zaštiti voćnjaka u Srbiji se još uvek najviše koriste klasični orošivači sa aksijalnim niskovodenim ventilatorima. Karakteristika tih orošivača je velika količina vazdušne mase neadekvatnog usmerenja, što za posledicu ima angažovanje velike količine energije, loš kvalitet zaštite kao i znatno zagađenje životne sredine. Prisutna je i činjenica da se našoj voćarskoj praksi poslednjih godina nudi veoma veliki broj različitih tehničkih rešenja za zaštitu višegodišnjih zasada. Pojavljivanje velikog broja tehničkih rešenja nije propraćen odgovarajućim ispitivanjima naučnih institucija na osnovu kojih bi se izvršio odabir adekvatnih mašina proizvodnim uslovima u voćarstvu. Imajući na umu navedeno, nametnula se potreba da se obavi konstruktivno i eksploataciono upoređivanje više tehničkih rešenja orošivača koji se nude našoj voćarskoj praksi. Kao baza za poređenje uzet je klasični orošivač sa niskovodenim aksijalnim ventilatorom. Proces ispitivanja je još obuhvatio: orošivač sa usmerenjem vazdušne struje koso unazad i orošivač sa fleksibilnim cevima (OFC) usmerenim pod uglom od 20o i 40o na gore. Tretmani su obavljeni u dva tipa zasada koji se razlikuju po bujnosti. Zaključak je da orošivači sa aksijalnim ventilatorom i fleksibilnim cevima za usmerenje vazdušne struje ostvaruju bolji kvalitet zaštite do 20%, dok se ušteda zaštitnog sredstva kreće i do 30% u odnosu na klasični orošivač. Kod manje bujnih voćaka sa razmakom sadnje od 3 m nisu primećene nikakve razlike. Tretmani su imali neznatan uticaj na uniformnost distribucije izraženu koeficijentom varijacije. Kod orošivača sa fleksibilnim cevima promena ugla mlaza sa 20o na 40o za manje bujne voćke uslovila je povećanje varijacije depozita za razliku od bujnijih gde je primećeno određeno smanjenje varijacije. Količina depozita kod primene orošivači sa usmerenjem vazdušne struje koso unazad i OFC sa uglom usmerenja 20o za manje bujni zasad su bile 1,3-1,7 puta veći nego kod bujnijih stabala.

The classical sprayer with low axial spraying ventilars was the control. The investigation also included: a sprayer pointing its air current backward at askance and a sprayer with flexible tubes (OFC) pointing upward at an angle of 20 and 40°. Treatments were conducted in two types of orchards differing in leaf density. The conclusion which emerges is a 20% better quality of the control conducted with sprayers having axial ventilators and flexible tubes and a 30% gain of the preparation used in comparison with the classical sprayer. There were no differences in less dense fruit trees planted at a 3 m distance. The effect of the treatments on the uniformity of the distribution was insignificant. Sprayers with flexible tubes at an angle of 40° tended to increase the variation of the deposited preparation in less dense trees in comparison with dense tree crowns. Use of automatic regulation systems with the aim of reducing pesticide loss in fruit growing

AB  - Electronic systems in modern plant protection equipment and machinery were introduced with the objective of achieving optimal efficacy of pesticide application but also contributing to cost decrease and environmental protection. In developed countries pesticide application expenses account for 30-40% of the production costs. On the other hand in underdeveloped countries with inappropriate control measures significant losses have been registered in the production of fruits. In conventional plant protection equipment irrespective of the size of the target area the amount of pesticides discharged by sprayers remains the same. Pesticides are unevenly sprayed on fruit trees with large crowns. Substantial amounts of pesticides are lost between crowns but also on the margins of crowns due to the lack of the vegetative mass. In practice there are pesticide rates which eventually contribute to efficient fruit crown treatment. These are however too high when it concerns its marginal parts. In developed European countries with enhanced agricultural production electronic control systems are used with the objective of adapting the application rate to the amount of leaves, the vegetative mass. The system enables a higher application rate for the crown parts of the fruit tree especially its central part. Crown margins receive lower application rates and eventually the inter row spacing is left untreated. A comparison study of the conventional and adapted sprayer showed that 37% of the pesticide used was saved using the adapted sprayer whereby the efficacy of the treatments was identical. Pesticide residues on the soil between the fruit trees were negligible pointing to efficient environmental protection.
AB  - Uvođenjem elektronskih sistema u razvoj novih mašina za zaštitu bilja postiže se optimizacija efikasnosti tretmana pesticidima što za rezultat ima smanjenje operativnih troškova kao i zaštitu životne okoline. Poznata je činjenica da tretmani pesticidima voćarskih zasada u razvijenim zemljama čine od 30 do 40% troškova proizvodnje dok u nerazvijenim zemljama u kojima su mere zaštite nedovoljne, nastaju veliki gubici u proizvodnji plodova voća. Na konvencionalnim mašinama za zaštitu, rasprskivači izbacuju istu količinu pesticida nezavisno od veličine ciljne površine. Kod voćki sa prostornom krošnjom, mašina nailazi na veoma nehomogeni raspored vegetacije, pa prema tome stvara nehomogenu distribuciju pesticida. Zbog toga, znatne količine pesticida se gube u prostoru između krošnji, ali isto tako i na perifernim delovima krošnje, tamo gde je manja vegetativna masa.U praksi se primenjuju određene norme sredstva za tretiranje da bi se postigao neophodni efekat zaštite u središnjem delu krošnje voćke, ali je ta norma prekomerna za njene periferne delove krošnje. U cilju postizanja kvalitetne zaštite i uzimajući u obzir zaštitu okoline, u agrarno razvijenim zemljama Evrope, primenjuju se uređaji koji pomoću elektronske kontrole sistema, prilagođavaju normu tretiranja stvarnoj količini lisne mase. Sistem omogućava aplikaciju veće norme u središnjem delu voćke, gde ima najviše vegetacije (kod prostornih krošnji), a manje norme na perifernim delovima krošnje kao i bez tretiranja nailaskom na međuprostor biljaka. Uporednim ispitivanjima adaptiranog orošivača navedenim uređajem i konvencijalnog rešenja, postignuta je uštedu do 37% sredstva za orošavanje održavajući pri tom isti kvalitet tretmana za oba slučaja. Pored toga ostvareno znatno manje zagađenje životne sredine što se može registrovati neznatnim prisustvom pesticida koja su deponovana na površini zemljišta između biljaka.

AB  - Fuel consumption in agriculture is on very high level. Even a small percentage of lowering fuel consumption can contribute to more successful management of agricultural enterprises. Reduced fuel consumption will, also be a mean of fossil fuel resources preservation and ecology friendlier agriculture production. There are known methods for reducing fuel consumption abut are not fully used. This paper presents results of using known methods in operationalisation of fuel consumption economy. The results are given for tractors with diesel motors and common fuel supply systems.
AB  - Poljoprivreda je veliki potrošač dizel goriva pa bi i malo procentualno smanjenje značilo veliku uštedu. To bi vodilo ka uspešnijem poslovanju poljoprivrednih preduzeća ali još značajnije je da bi se time doprinelo očuvanju ograničenih resursa fosilnih goriva kao i smanjenju zagađenja okoline. Metode za smanjenje potrošnje goriva su uglavnom poznate ali se nedovoljno primenjuju. Zbog toga se u ovom radu kroz plansku primenu poznatih metoda operacionalizuje ekonomičnost potrošnje goriva kod traktora sa dizel motorima koji imaju klasičan sistem snabdevanja gorivom.

The model of tillage quality evaluation by use of soil statistics

AB  - Tillage exposes the soil to different mechanisms of direct or indirect mechanical decomposition, crucially changing its structure. Among others, a possible initial approach in controlling the quality of each specified operation and complete tillage process assumes establishing the functional relations between the operational parameters of applied mechanization and resulting probability density distribution of soil particle sizes. In this paper, the log-hyperbolic function is introduced and experimentally verified in describing the post-tillage soil particle sizes probability density distribution. Cultivation includes a variety of mechanical soil decomposing mechanisms. Consequently, quality control of a tillage concept incorporates the analysis of resulting soil particle sizes distribution, usually different from the normal Gaussian model. Following the common practice, shapes of these distributions are quantified in the paper by skewness S (SS) and flatness F (SF) factors. Data from five experiments gave clear relationships F=F(S) and SF=SF(SS), that might be useful in modeling and controlling the tillage quality.
AB  - Obrada izlaže zemljište uticaju različitih mehanizama fizičke dekompozicije direktno ili indirektno, suštinski menjajući njegovu mehaničku strukturu. Između ostalih, jedan od mogućih pristupa u analizi kvaliteta svake predviđene operacije i procesa obrade u celini svodi se na uspostavljanje funkcionalnih veza između operativnih parametara primenjene mehanizacije i rezultujuće raspodele čestica obrađenog zemljišta. U ovom radu je, u svojstvu preliminarnog koraka, predložena i eksperimentalno potvrđena primenjivost log-hiperboličke funkcije za opisivanje raspodela veličina čestica obrađenog zemljišta. Obrada zemljišta je mehaničko usitnjavanje zemljišnih frakcija. Stoga je kontrola kvaliteta oranja koncept koji podrazumeva analizu veličina čestica zemljišta i funkciju njihove raspodele koja je obično drugačija od normalne (Gausovog modela). Sledeći opštu praksu, u izvesnim situacijama koriste se faktori asimetrije S (SS) i zaravnjenja F (SF). U radu se analiziraju rezultati pet eksperimenata gde se koriste faktori F=F(S) i SF=SF(SS), a rezultat modeliranja bi koristio za kontrolu kvaliteta rada.
