Yield and quality of soybean cultivars under different agroecological conditions

AB  - Both yield and quality of soybean grains of various cultivars under different agroecological conditions were studied for a couple of years. The soybean cultivars of the Belgrade Company “Selsem”: Dukat (maturity group 0), Galeb (maturity group I) and Gorštak (maturity group II) having different vegetation period lengths were used in the trial. Field trials were conducted on different soil types and at various sites. Depending on the vegetation year and site, grain yield of the early maturing cultivar (maturity group 0) ranged from 1.39 to 5.47 t/ha; grain yield of the maturity group I cultivars was 1.38 to 5.48 t/ha and that of the late maturing cultivars (maturity group II) 1.38 to 5.55 t/ha. On average, the highest soybean grain yield (3.86 t/ha) was obtained with the cv. Gorštak followed by the cv. Galeb (3.72 t/ha). The cv. Dukat was the least yielding (3.53 t/ha). The share of raw proteins in the predominantly dry soybean grain varied from 42.16% in the cv. Gorštak to 44.03% in the cv. Dukat. Oil content ranged from 20.35% in the cv. Galeb to 20.53% in the cv. Gorštak. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that, in contrast to oil content, there was negative correlation between protein content and yield of the cultivars studied.
AB  - U višegodišnjem periodu analizirani su rezultati prinosa i kvaliteta zrna sorti soje u različitim agroekološkim uslovima. U ogledima su bile zastupljene sorte soje preduzeća “Selsem” Beograd, različite dužine vegetacionog perioda, i to: Dukat (0 grupa zrenja), Galeb (I grupa) i Gorštak (II grupa zrenja). Sortni makroogledi su izvedeni na različitim tipovima zemljišta i različitim lokacijama. U zavisnosti od godine i lokacije, prinos zrna ranostasne sorte (0 grupa zrenja) varirao je od 1,39 do 5,47 t/ha, sorte I grupe zrenja od 1,38 do 5,48 t/ha i pozne sorte (II grupa zrenja) od 1,38 do 5,55 t/ha. U proseku za lokacije i godine, najveći prinos zrna soje (3,86 t/ha) postignut je sa sortom Gorštak, zatim sa sortom Galeb (3,72 t/ha) i najmanji (3,53 t/ha) sa sortom Dukat. Udeo sirovih proteina, u apsolutno suvom zrnu soje, varirao je od 42,16% u sorte Gorštak do 44,03% u sorte Dukat, a sadržaj ulja od 20,35% kod sorte Galeb do 20,53% kod sorte Gorštak. Prema dobijenim rezultatima, sadržaj proteina bio je u negativnoj korelaciji sa visinom prinosa sorti, što nije bio slučaj sa sadržajem ulja.

AB  - The aim of the study was to analyze the influence of interrow spacing (25, 50 and 70 cm) on seed yield and quality of three soybean varietes of different vegetation length (Dukat- O group, Balkan - I group, Vojvodjanka - II group of maturation). Different interrow spacing contributed to various shapes of the vegetation area using the same plant population density. During the two-year trial, on average with regard to the cultivars tested the highest seed yield (5.312 kg/ha) was obtained sowing at a 25 cm interrow spacing. This was by approx. 40% greater in comparison with the 50 and 70 cm interrow spacing sowing variants (3.798 and 3.807 kg/ha). Considering interrow spacing, on average, the highest seed yield was obtained by cv. Dukat (4.450 kg/ha). Cvs. Vojvodjanka and Balkan yields were by 1.8 and 8.0% lower. Protein content was not substantially effected by the shape of the vegetation area averaging 31%. This was also the case with oil content in the seed (on average 20.8%).
AB  - U radu je proučavan uticaj veličine međurednog rastojanja (25, 50 i 70 cm) na prinos i kvalitet zrna tri perspektivne sorte soje različite dužine vegetacionog perioda (Dukat- O grupa, Balkan- I grupa, Vojvođanka- II grupa zrenja). Različito međuredno rastojanje je omogućilo i različit oblik vegetacionog prostora pri istoj gustini useva.U proseku za sorte, u dvogodišnjem periodu, najveći prinos semena (5.312 kg/ha) ostvaren je pri setvi na 25 cm međurednog rastojanja.Ova vrednost je veća za oko 40% u odnosu na prinos iz varijanti setve od 50 i 70 cm (3.798 i 3.807 kg/ha). U proseku za međuredna rastojanja, najveći prinos semena dala je sorta Dukat (4.450 kg/ha), dok su sorte Vojvođanka i Balkan dale za 1,8 i 8,0% niži prinos. Sadržaj proteina se nije značajnije razlikovao zavisno od oblika vegetacionog prostora, a njegova prosečna vrednost je iznosila 31%. Slično stanje je zabeleženo i u pogledu sadržaja ulja u semenu (prosek 20,8%).

Soybean yield from 5.000 to 6.000 kg/ha: Reality or mistake

AB  - The paper shows analyzed movement of sown area and yields of soybean in our country. For last 56 years average soybean yield in our country has increased for more than fifth times. Obtained yields last several years in tests in some agricultural organizations assure us that production of this very important plant species can be higher and more stable. For this are needed, sowing of quality varieties, sowing of quality seed and respect of discipline in executing all agrotechical measures.
AB  - U radu se ukazuje na saznanja o visokoj vrednosti genetičkog potencijala rodnosti važnijih ratarskih biljaka (kukuruz 22-30 t/ha, pšenica preko 13,0 t/ha, šećerna repa 150,0 t/ha, soja preko 11,0 t/ha), koje su važne i dragocene informacije proizvođačima u želji za ostvarenje visokih prinosa. Ta saznanja su izazov za osnivanje društava (klubova) čiji se članovi bore i već sada ostvaruju rekordne prinose. Tako na primer, u Velikoj Britaniji postoji klub 100 koji okuplja proizvođače pšenice sa prinosom većim od 100 mc/ha, a u državi Ajova (SAD) klub naprednih proizvođača koji postižu prinos kukuruza od 24 do 27 t/ha (Denise Mc Williams, 2001.). Lideri ovog udruženja sugerišu proizvođačima kukuruza "deset zapovesti - naredbi", koje se, prvenstveno, odnose na primenu savremenih agrotehničkih mera i setvu kvalitetnog semena visokorodnih hibrida. Nešto slično kod soje za sada ne postoji. Međutim, u domaćoj i svetskoj literaturi postoji mnogo podataka o visokim prinosima soje. U mikroogledima, na području Južnog Banata (AD "Stari Tamiš’", Pančevo), u godinama sa povoljnim uslovima vlažnosti, postignut je prinos soje od 6.500 do 7.000 kg/ha (Nenadić i Sarić, 1984.). Poslednje tri godine, na mnogim imanjima širom naše zemlje, postignuti su prinosi soje od 4.500 do 5.500 kg/ha, pa i više (Nenadić i Kaplanović, 2005; Nenadić i Kaplanović, 2006; Hrustić Milica i sar. 2006). Za ovakve prinose, uz povoljne uslove vlažnosti, potrebne su visokorodne sorte, kvalitetno seme (visoke klijavosti i energije klijanja), vrlo kvalitetna obrada zemljišta, obavezno đubrenje, ranija setva, optimalna gustina useva, vrlo ujednačeno odstojanje između biljaka u redovima, efikasna zaštita od korovskih biljaka (bez stresnih stanja od herbicida) i žetva bez većih gubitaka zrna. Kvalitetnim semenom i primenom savremenih agrotehničkih mera obezbediti da biljke u usevu soje budu maksimalno ujednačene u pogledu razvijenosti i produktivnosti (sa velikim i približno ujednačenim brojem mahuna, sa ujednačenom masom zrna po biljci).

Corn hybrid productivity depending on sowing date and plant density

AB  - The objective in the study was to analyze the influence of sowing date and plant density on corn grain yield using some hybrids of different FAO maturity groups. The experiments were performed using small-scale field trials in four repetitions on two locations: South Banat (AD "Stari Tamiš", Pančevo) and West Bačka (AD "Jedinstvo", Apatin). Obtained results showed statisically significant differences between grain yield and sowing date, also between plant densities inside hybrids. Significant interaction between examined factors was established.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati istraživanja uticaja vremena setve i gustine useva na prinos zrna nekoliko hibrida kukuruza različitih FAO grupa zrenja. Ispitivanja su obavljena putem poljskih mikroogleda u 2006. godini na dva lokaliteta, i to: južni Banat (AD "Stari Tamiš", Pančevo) i zapadna Bačka (AD "Jedinstvo", Apatin). Dobijeni rezultati su pokazali značajne razlike u prinosu zrna između rokova setve, kao i između gustina unutar pojedinih hibrida. Utvrđena je značajnost interakcije između ispitivanih faktora.

AB  - Results of soybean yield and crude proteins content testing of several soybean varieties conducted in 2005. on 12 locations in Backa, Srem and Banat are layed out this project. Also seeding period influence on soybean yield of several agricultural organizations in perennial period was analyzed. Seed yield of early varieties (0 maturity group) varied from 2393 - 4352 kg/ha; I group of varieties varied from 2957 - 5475 kg/ha and late varieties (II maturity group) varied from 2615 - 5551 kg/ha. Considering the location the highest average yield (4309 kg/ha) was obtained with BG-L-3 genotype and the lowest (3538 kg/ha) with the Afrodita variety. Considering the results of these testing as well as many other testing, crude protein content is in negative correlation with soybean yield. Protein content, expressed in absolute mass of dry soybean, varied from 42.05% (variety Vojvodjanka - location Becej) to 49.49% (variety Dukat - location Vajska). Agricultural organizations, especially "Jedinstvo" Apatin and "Stari Tamis" Pancevo, which practice very early sowing (end of March and beginning of April) obtains significantly higher seed yield then the organizations which practice late sowing. .
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati prinosa zrna i sadržaja sirovih proteina ogleda većeg broja sorata soje izvedenih 2005. godine na 12 lokacija u Bačkoj, Sremu i Banatu. Osim toga, analiziran je uticaj vremena setve na prinos soje većeg broja poljoprivrednih organizacija u višegodišnjem periodu. Prinos zrna ranostasnih sorata (O grupa zrenja) je varirao od 2.393 do 4.352 kg/ha; sorata I grupe od 2.957 do 5.475 kg/ha i poznih sorata (II grupa zrenja) od 2.615 do 5.551 kg/ha. U proseku za lokacije, najveći prinos (4.309 kg/ha) postignut je kod genotipa BGL- 3, a najmanji (3.538 kg/ha) u sorte Afrodita. Prema rezultatima ovih istraživanja, kao i mnogih drugih, sadržaj sirovih proteina je u negativnoj korelaciji sa visinom prinosa zrna. Izražen u apsolutno suvoj masi zrna, sadržaj proteina je varirao od 42,05% (sorta Vojvođanka-lokacija Bečej) do 49,49% (sorta Dukat-lokacija Vajska). Poljoprivredne organizacije, naročito "Jedinstvo" Apatin i "Stari Tamiš" Pančevo, koje soju seju vrlo rano (kraj marta i početak aprila) postižu značajno veći prinos nego organizacije koje seju kasnije. .

AB  - In two years period (2004-2005) testing of crop density influence on hybrid corn grain yield with different length of vegetation period were carried out. As seeds, 11 perspective corn hybrids with different FAO maturity groups (FAO 400 - ZPSC 434 and PR36 B08; FAO 500 - KWS Luce, LG Aliacan, AGS 500 and GP Rodna; FAO 600 - NS 6010 and PR34 B23; FAO 700 - AGS IN 730, AGS 83A and KWS Kermes), were used from domestic as well as foreign breeding companies present on our market. The hybrids were grown in the recommended (optimal) crop density (G2) for its FAO maturity group, then in crop density of 10 000 plants/ha less (G1) and in crop density of 10 000 plants/ha more (G3) then optimum. Tests were carried out using open field micro tests in agro ecological conditions of South Banat (DD Stari Tamis, Pancevo) and in normal weather regime. The tests were carried out on calcareous tchernozem soil type using split-plot method in three repetitions. Obtained results showed the significant differences in grain yield among tested hybrids as well as the differences inside individual hybrid densities. Average year and density grain yield results for FAO maturity hybrid groups 700 and 600 in comparison to FAO hybrid groups 400 and 500 were higher buy 10.8 - 12.8%. Compared to optimal densities (G2) grain yield from the lower densities (G1) decreased by 5.2% average, while the hybrid yield from the bigger densities (G3) increased by 2.6% in average. Significant interaction between hybrids and crop densities was determined. .
AB  - U dvogodišnjem periodu (2004-2005) vršena su ispitivanja uticaja gustine useva na prinos zrna hibrida kukuruza različite dužine vegetacionog perioda. Kao semenski materijal korišćeno je 11 perspektivnih hibrida kukuruza različitih FAO grupa zrenja (FAO 400 - ZPSC 434 i PR36 B08; FAO 500 - KWS Luce, LG Aliacan, AGS 500 i GP Rodna; FAO 600 - NS 6010 i PR34 B23; FAO 700 - AGS IN 730, AGS 83A i KWS Kermes), kako domaćih selekcionih kuća, tako i inostranih kompanija prisutnih na našem tržištu. Hibridi su gajeni u preporučenim (optimalnim) gustinama useva (G2) za svoju FAO grupu zrenja, zatim u gustinama koje su za 10.000 biljaka/ha manje (G1) i gustinama useva koje su za 10.000 biljaka/ha veće (G3) u odnosu na optimum. AB  - The objective was to analyse the effects of nitrogen and phosphorus (sowing inoculated and non-inoculated seed) on the microbial biomass of soil, soybean yield and quality under the different levels of mineral nutrients. Investigations conducted on the brown forest soil type in central Šumadija. The addition of phosphorus has affected increasing of bacterial biomass in all variants, with and without inoculation in forming pods phase. Inoculation in harvest phase has affected increasing of bacterial and decreasing of fungal biomass. The highest number and mass of nodules was noticed on variants with phosphorus fertilization (P35 i P70 kg/ha) and in control variant (without fertilization). The nitrogen has affected on decreasing of those two parameters. Significant higher average seed yield was noticed on variant of inoculated seed (for 17,0%) concerning variant with non-inoculated seed (3,41 t/ha). All nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization variants have affected significant yield increasing comparing with control variant. However, the highest yield was noticed in combination of those two nutrients (N100P35 and N100P70 kg/ha), up to 4,0 t/ha seed. Seed inoculation has increased protein content for 2,2% comparing on non-inoculated seed. The nitrogen and phosphorus has affected small, but positive effect on protein content just on non-inoculated variant. The highest increasing was on variant with N100P35 and N100P70 kg/ha (4,5 – 5,7%). In general, seed protein content is indeed small because of bigger amount of rainfall in this year.
AB  - U ovom radu je prikazan uticaj azota i fosfora, setvom inokulisanog i neinokulisanog semena, na mikrobnu biomasu, prinos i kvalitet soje pri različitim nivoima mineralnih hraniva. Istraživanja su obavljena na zemljištu tipa gajnjača u centralnoj Šumadiji. U fazi obrazovanja mahuna unošenje fosfora je najviše uticalo na povećanje bakterijske biomase u varijantama sa i bez inokulacije. Inokulacija u fazi žetve uticala je na povećanje bakterijske i smanjenje biomase gljiva.Najveći broj i masa kvržica po biljci ostvareni su na varijantama đubrenja fosforom (P35 i P70 kg/ha) i kontrolnoj varijanti (bez đubrenja). Azot je uticao na smanjenje vrednosti ova dva parametra. Ostvaren je značajno veći prosečni prinos semena na varijanti inokulisanog semena (za 17,0%) u odnosu na varijantu bez inokulacije (3,41 t/ha). Sve varijante azota i fosfora dale su značajno povećanje prinosa u odnosu na kontrolu. Ipak, najveći prinos je ostvaren kombinovanom primenom ova dva hraniva (N100P35 i N100P70 kg/ha), preko 4,0 t/ha semena. Inokulacija semena je povećala sadržaj proteina za 2,2% u odnosu na neinokulisano seme. Azot i fosfor su ispoljili mali, ali pozitivan uticaj na sadržaj proteina samo na varijanti bez inokulacije. Najveće povećanje je u varijanti N100P35 i N100P70 (4,5 – 5,7 indeksnih poena). U celini sadržaj proteina u semenu je dosta mali i zbog većih količina padavina u ovoj godini.

AB  - The objective was to analyze the affect of sowing date (beginning, mid and end of April) and plant density (G1-54.090-64.000 plants/ha; G2-64.000-74.000 plants/ha; G3-74.000-88.515 plants/ha) on grain yield of a number of hybrids of corn belonging to different FAO maturing groups. At 12 localities in Serbia during 2004 have been conducted large-scale field trials under different agroecological conditions employing different levels of agricultural practices. Based on the grain yield achieved the results obtained were analyzed according to the groups of location. In the first group and with the higher level of agricultural practices have been attained the higher yields on average by 2.430 kg/ha with regard to sowing date and by 3.073 kg/ha with regard to plant density compared with the locations of the second group. With regard to the effect of sowing date, the locations of the first group tended to show then highest average yield at the first sowing (11.199 kg/ha), followed by the second sowing (11.022 kg/ha), the lowest yield was recorded at the third sowing (10.685 kg/ha). In the second group of locations the average hybrid corn yield was the highest at the last sowing (8.985 kg/ha) followed by the second sowing (8.669 kg/ha) and the earliest sowing (8.052 kg/ha). With regard to plant density, increasing plant density tended to increase corn yield in both locations.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati istraživanja uticaja vremena setve (početak polovina i kraj aprila) i gustine useva (G1- 54.090-64.000 biljaka/ha; G2 64.000-74.000 biljaka/ha; G3- 74.000-88.515 biljaka/ha) na prinos zrna većeg broja hibrida kukuruza različitih FAO grupa zrenja. Ispitivanja u makroogledima su obavljena 2004. godine na 12 lokaliteta, širom Republike Srbije, pri različitim agroekološkim uslovima i različitom nivou primenjenih agrotehničkih mera. Prema visini ostvarenog prinosa zrna, dobijeni rezultati su analizirani po grupama lokacija. Na prvoj grupi, sa višim nivoom tehnologije gajenja, postignut je veći prosečan prinos u rokovima setve za 2.430 kg/ha i gustinama useva za 3.073 kg/ha nego na lokacijama druge grupe. Efekat vremena setve bio je takav da je u ogledima prve grupe lokacija postignut najveći prosečan prinos u prvom roku setve (11.199 kg/ha), zatim drugom (11.022 kg/ha), a najmanji u trećem (10.685 kg/ha). Na drugoj grupi lokacija prosečan prinos hibrida kukuruza bio je najveći u poslednjoj setvi (8.895 kg/ha), zatim srednjoj (8.669 kg/ha), a najmanji (8.052 kg/ha) u najranijoj setvi. Efekat gustine useva, kod obe grupe lokacija, bio je takav da je sa povećanjem gustine useva povećavan i prinos kukuruza.

AB  - The objective was to analyze the effect of foliar nutrition on grain yield some plant properties and raw protein content and yield using three high-yielding wheat cultivars. The liquid mineral fertilizer Wuxal has used for foliar nutrition and 46% UREA for conventional soil nutrition. Based on the results obtained foliar nutrition was shown to contribute to an average 2.4-3.7% grain increase, the increase was substantially greater in the first investigation- al year (5.5-9.6%) when the amount of rainfall registered was smaller compared with the second investigational year (2003/04) which proved far more favorable for wheat growing. Similar to grain yield, protein content in the grain and especially protein yield per hectare had shown to exhibit similar results depending on foliar nutrition. A higher protein value in the grain was obtained in the less favorable 2002/03 growing season (on average 15.2% for the cultivars) compared with the 2003/04 season (14.4%). However, as a result of a higher grain yield in the year favoring wheat growing protein yield was higher in 2003/04 (by 134.7 kg/ha).
AB  - U radu je prikazan uticaj vremena folijarnog prihranjivanja na prinos zrna neke osobine biljaka, sadržaj i prinos sirovih proteina za tri visokorodne sorte pšenice. Za prihranjivanje je korišćeno tečno mineralno đubrivo Wuxal (za folijarno prihranjivanje) i 46% UREA (za klasičan način prihranjivanja – preko zemljišta). Dobijeni rezultati su pokazali da je folijarno prihranjivanje uslovilo povećanje prosečnog prinosa zrna od 2,4 – 3,7%. Ovo povećanje je bilo znatno veće u prvoj godi- ni našeg istraživanja (od 5,5 – 9,6%), koja je imala manju količinu padavina u odnosu na drugu (znatno povoljniju za pšenicu) – 2003/04. godinu. Slično prinosu zrna, sadržaj proteina u zrnu i posebno prinos proteina po hektaru su pokazali istu zakonomernost u zavisnosti od folijarnog prihranjivanja. Dobijena je veća vrednost proteina u zrnu u nepovoljnijoj 2002/03. godini (prosečno za sorte 15,2%), u odnosu na 2003/04. godinu (14,4%). Međutim, ostvaren je veći prinos proteina u 2003/04. godini (za 134,7 kg/ha), kao direktna posledica značajno većeg prinosa zrna u ovoj, za pšenicu, povoljnijoj godini.

AB  - Small plot trials were conducted at the experimental fields of the Institute Tamiš, Pančevo, on the lime chernozem soil type over the period 1998- 2003. There were 19 variants in the trial in addition to the control. The NPK amounts ranged from 50 to 130 kg/ha and were used in various ratios. The highest average sugar beet yield was obtained using 100 kg/ha of NPK (59,97 t/ha). The increase amounted to 47,9% compared with the control variant. The average sugar content in the root ranged from 13,67 (N130P50K50) to 14,45% (N0P0K100) and sugar use from 11,05 (N130P50K50) to 12,09% (N50P100K100). The highest average consumable sugar yield was registered using the following fertilizer variant N100 P100K100 (6.98 t/ha) and N100P100K50 (6.81 t/ha). Root yield and consumable sugar yield were greatly affected by the humidity during the sugar beet vegetation period.

The average sugar content in the root ranged from 13,67 (N130P50K50) to 14,45% (N0P0K100) and sugar use from 11,05 (N130P50K50) to 12,09% (N50P100K100). The highest average consumable sugar yield was registered using the following fertilizer variant N100 P100K100 (6.98 t/ha) and N100P100K50 (6.81 t/ha). Root yield and consumable sugar yield were greatly affected by the humidity during the sugar beet vegetation period.",

AB  - A two-year trial (2002-2003) was conducted in order to study the effect of plant density (30,000, 40,000, 50,000 and 60,000 plants ha-1) and vegetation length (ZPSC 434, ZPSC 680 and ZPSC 735) of hybrids on grain yield and humidity content in corn grain. A field microexperiment was used under the agro ecological conditions of northern Šumadija (Radmilovac) on the trial plots of the Faculty of Agriculture, Belgrade University. Experiments were conducted on the leached chernozem soil type using a split-plot design in three replications. In the first trial year and under favorable weather conditions average yields amounted to 9.39 t ha-1. In the second trial year characterized by unfavorable humid weather conditions the yield achieved was substantially lower amounting to 6.80 t ha-1. On average for hybrids and trial years the smallest average corn grain yield containing 14% humidity was achieved with the smallest plant density (30,000 plants ha-1) amounting to 6.99 t/ha. Increasing plant density by 10, 20 and 30 thousand plants per hectare tended to raise yield by 0.90, 1.58 and 1.94 t ha-1, i.e. by 12.9 22.6 and 27.8% respectively. The highest average yields for average plant density was achieved using the hybrid ZP 434 (8.47 t ha-1), followed by ZP 680 (8.05 t ha-1) whereas the lowest yield was achieved using the hybrid ZP 735 (7.77 t ha-1). In the first trial year increasing plant density tended to raise humidity content in hybrid corn grain. The increase amounted to 3.8 to 8.0 points at 40,000 plants, i.e. 60,000 plants ha-1, respectively compared with the smallest plant density (30,000 plants ha-1). In the second trial year, humidity content in the grain varied irregularly. Considering the 2-year average, the lowest humidity content in the grain was registered using the hybrid ZP 434, amounting to 18.5%. The reason for this being a shorter vegetation period of ZP 434 compared with the other two hybrids tested.
AB  - U dvogodišnjem periodu (2002-2003) vršena su ispitivanja uticaja gustine useva (30.000, 40.000, 50.000 i 60.000 biljaka po hektaru) i hibrida različite dužine vegetacionog perioda (ZPSC 434, ZPSC 680 i ZPSC 735) na prinos zrna i sadržaj vlage u zrnu kukuruza. Ispitivanja su obavljena putem poljskih mikroogleda u agroekološkim uslovima severne Šumadije (Radmilovac) na oglednom imanju Poljoprivrednog fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu. Ogledi su izvedeni na zemljištu tipa degradirani černozem, metodom razdeljenih parcela (split-plot) u tri ponavljanja. U meteorološki povoljnijoj, prvoj godini, prosečan prinos je iznosio 9,39 t/ha, dok je u drugoj godini, koja se karakterisala pre svega, nepovoljnijim uslovima vlažnosti, prinos bio znatno niži i iznosio je 6,80 t/ha. U proseku za hibride i godine ispitivanja, najniži prosečan prinos zrna kukuruza sa 14% vlage je ostvaren pri najmanjoj gustini useva (30.000 biljaka/ha) i iznosio je 6,99 t/ha. Sa povećanjem gustine useva za 10, 20 i 30 hiljada biljaka po hektaru prinos se povećavao za 0,90, 1,58 i 1,94 t/ha, odnosno za 12,9, 22,6 i 27,8%. Sadržaj vlage u zrnu hibrida kukuruza se, u prvoj godini, povećavao sa povećanjem gustine useva kukuruza. To povećanje je, u odnosu na najmanju gustinu (30.000 biljaka/ha), iznosilo od 3,8 do 8,0 indeksnih poena pri gustini od 40.000 odnosno 60.000 biljaka po hektaru. U drugoj godini sadržaj vlage u zrnu je nepravilno varirao. U dvogodišnjem proseku, najmanji sadržaj vlage u zrnu utvrđen je kod hibrida ZP 434 i iznosio je 18,5%. Ovo je svakako, neposredna posledica i okolnosti da je hibrid ZP 434 kraćeg vegetacionog perioda u odnosu na preostala dva hibrida zastupljena u našim istraživanjima.

AB  - The objective was to analyze the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus (by sowing inoculated and non-inoculated seed) on the microbiological activity of soil (number of physiological and systematic groups of microorganisms in the plant root system, but also the number and weight of the nodes formed) and soybean yield. Trials were conducted on the brown forest soil type in central Šumadija. Sowing inoculated seed tended to raise the average soybean yield by 8.6% as well as number of bacteria in the rhizosphereous soil compared to the non-inoculated variant. Node number and weight were the greatest in the control variant (non-fertilized). Grain yield was higher by applying larger nitrogen rates, both individually and in combination with phosphorus (fertilization variants N100P70 and N100P35 kg/ha) with yields ranging from 2.79 to 3.21 t ha-1. In addition, the greatest number of bacteria in the plant root system was found in these variants. In comparison to the control, a positive effect of fertilization on grain yield amounting to 36% was also registered. In 2002, the number and weight of nodes formed on the plant root were substantially greater than in 2003 as a result of favorable humid weather conditions.
AB  - U ovom radu je prikazan uticaj azota i fosfora, setvom inokulisanog i neinokulisanog semena, na mikrobiološku aktivnost zemljišta (brojnost pojedinih fizioloških i sistematskih grupa mikroorganizama u zoni korenovog sistema biljaka, kao i mase i broja obrazovanih kvržica) i prinos soje. Istraživanja su obavljena na zemljištu tipa gajnjača u centralnoj Šumadiji. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da je ostvaren viši prosečni prinos soje za 8,6 % setvom inokulisanog semena i veći ukupni broj bakterija u rizosfernom sloju zemljišta u odnosu na neinokulisanu varijantu. Na kontrolnoj varijanti (bez đubrenja) utvrđen je najveći broj i masa kvržica po biljci, što je logično kada se ima u vidu priroda ove biljke. Viši prinosi zrna ostvareni su primenom veće količine azota, kako pojedinačno, tako i u kombinaciji sa fosforom (varijante đubrenja N100P70 i N100P35 kg/ha), kod kojih se prosečni prinos kretao od 2,79 do 3,21 t/ha. Takođe, na ovim varijantama je uglavnom konstatovan i najveći broj bakterija u zoni korenovog sistema. Pozitivan efekat đubrenja na prinos zrna je iznosio i do 36 %, u odnosu na kontrolu. Broj i masa kvržica na korenu biljaka, kao i prinos zrna, bili si značajno veći u 2002. godini, kao posledica znatno povoljnijih uslova vlažnosti u odnosu na 2003. godinu.

Effect of NP and seed inoculation on soybean yield and protein content in the grain

AB  - The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of different amounts and proportion of nitrogen and phosphorus but also of seed inoculation on soybean yield and total protein content in the grain. Trials were conducted on two soil types: chernozem (southern Banat) and brown forest (central parts of Sumadija). The soybean cultivar used was Balkan (I maturity group). Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that on average soybean yield was higher on both soil types (by 5.6% and 8.6% on chernozem and brown forest respectively) using inoculated seeds. The highest average grain yield was achieved using 100 kg of nitrogen per ha in combination with 35 and 70 kg of phosphorus per ha (3.48-4.28 t/ha and 2.79-3.21 t/ha on the chernozem and brown forest soil type respectively). The total protein content in the grain was somewhat greater on the chernozem soil type (on average 32.7%) than on the brown forest soil type (30.9%). Seed inoculation was found to raise the protein content on brown forest soil type only (by 1.4%). On both soil types all the nitrogen variants contributed to a greater protein content in the grain compared with the variants with phosphorus and the control variant (non-fertilized).
AB  - U ovom radu je prikazan uticaj azota i fosfora, primenjenih u različitoj količini i odnosu, kao i inokulacije semena na prinos soje i sadržaj ukupnih proteina u zrnu. Istraživanja su obavljena na dva tipa zemljišta: černozem (južni Banat) i gajnjača (centralna Šumadija). Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da je na oba tipa zemljišta ostvaren veći prosečan prinos zrna upotrebom inokulisanog semena (za 5,6% na černozemu, tj. za 8,6% na gajnjači). Najveći prosečni prinosi zrna ostvareni su primenom 100 kg/ha N u kombinaciji sa 35 i 70 kg/ha P2O5 (od 3,48 - 4,28 t/ha na černozemu i od 2,79 - 3,21 t/ha na gajnjači). Ostvaren je nešto veći sadržaj ukupnih proteina u zrnu na černozemu (prosečno 32,7%), nego na gajnjači (prosečno 30,9%). Inokulacija semena je povećala sadržaj proteina samo na gajnjači (za 1,4%), dok ovo povećanje nije zabeleženo na černozemu. Na svim varijantama đubrenja azotom i na oba tipa zemljišta, zabeležen je veći sadržaj proteina u zrnu, u odnosu na varijante đubrenja fosforom i varijantu bez đubrenja.

The highest average grain yield was achieved using 100 kg of nitrogen per ha in combination with 35 and 70 kg of phosphorus per ha (3.48-4.28 t/ha and 2.79-3.21 t/ha on the chernozem and brown forest soil type respectively). The total protein content in the grain was somewhat greater on the chernozem soil type (on average 32.7%) than on the brown forest soil type (30.9%). Seed inoculation was found to raise the protein content on brown forest soil type only (by 1.4%). On both soil types all the nitrogen variants contributed to a greater protein content in the grain compared with the variants with phosphorus and the control variant (non-fertilized)., U ovom radu je prikazan uticaj azota i fosfora, primenjenih u različitoj količini i odnosu, kao i inokulacije semena na prinos soje i sadržaj ukupnih proteina u zrnu. Istraživanja su obavljena na dva tipa zemljišta: černozem (južni Banat) i gajnjača (centralna Šumadija). Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da je na oba tipa zemljišta ostvaren veći prosečan prinos zrna upotrebom inokulisanog semena (za 5,6% na černozemu, tj. za 8,6% na gajnjači). Najveći prosečni prinosi zrna ostvareni su primenom 100 kg/ha N u kombinaciji sa 35 i 70 kg/ha P2O5 (od 3,48 - 4,28 t/ha na černozemu i od 2,79 - 3,21 t/ha na gajnjači). Ostvaren je nešto veći sadržaj ukupnih proteina u zrnu na černozemu (prosečno 32,7%), nego na gajnjači (prosečno 30,9%). Inokulacija semena je povećala sadržaj proteina samo na gajnjači (za 1,4%), dok ovo povećanje nije zabeleženo na černozemu. Na svim varijantama đubrenja azotom i na oba tipa zemljišta, zabeležen je veći sadržaj proteina u zrnu, u odnosu na varijante đubrenja fosforom i varijantu bez đubrenja.",

AB  - The objective of the study was to investigate the effect of interrow spacing of three soybean cultivars differing with regard to the length of the vegetation period on yield and fertility properties. The highest average seed yield (4943 kg/ha) for the cultivars tested was achieved employing a 20 cm interrow spacing and the lowest (3935 kg/ha) at a 70 cm interrow spacing. On average, the cv. Dragana was registered to achieve by 7.40% higher seed yields compared with the cv. Balkana and by 20.49% compared with the cv. Bosa. Compared with the 70 cm interrow spacing, the 20 cm interrow spacing was noticed to contribute to 9.36% higher stalks, 28.10% greater number of side branches, 5.95% greater number of pods per plant, 4.02% greater number of seeds per plant, 5.13% greater seed weight per plant and 13.17% greater 1000-seed weight.
AB  - Ispitivan je uticaj veličine rastojanja između redova (20, 45 i 70cm) na prinos i komponente rodnosti tri sorte soje (Bosa, Balkan i Dragana). U proseku za sorte, najveći prinos semena (4,943 kg/ha) postignut je pri setvi na 20cm rastojanja između redova, a najmanji (3,935 kg/ha) pri setvi na 70cm. U proseku za načine setve, sorta Dragana je imala veći prinos semena za 7,40% od Balkana i za 20,49% od sorte Bosa. U ispitivanjima uticaja oblika vegetacionog prostora i važnijih morfoloških osobina i komponenata rodnosti sorti soje postignuti su sledeći rezultati: U kombinacijama setve na najmanjem međurednom rastojanju (20cm), u proseku za sorte, visina stabala je bila veća za 9,36%, broj bočnih grana za 28,10%, broj mahuna po biljci za 5,95%, broj zrna po biljci za 4,02%, masa 1000 zrna za 5,13% i masa zrna po biljci veća za 13,17% nego pri setvi na najvećem rastojanju (70cm). U proseku i pojedinačno za načine setve, visina stabala i masa 1000 zrna bile su najveće u sorte Balkan, a sva ostala ispitivana obeležja u sorte Dragana.

AB  - The effect of a considerable number of both domestic and foreign sugar beet genotypes on root yield and quality was investigated. The data demonstrated the most favorable results of some genotypes for root yield and sugar content. Trials were conducted on rhizomania infested soil, thus tolerant genotypes were used. Susceptible cultivars represented the control. In the trial root yield was high and sugar content low. On average, in the genotypes tested, root yield varied from 73.98 to 93.30 t/ha and sugar content from 11.90 to 13.36%, depending on weather conditions. Root yield of the genotypes investigated varied from 30.61 to 112.64 t/ha and sugar content from 10.60 to 14.20%. The Swedish cultivar Dorotea (tolerant to both rhizomania and cercospora) was the most yielding. The least yielding (susceptible to both rhizomania and cercospora) was the domestic cultivar Dana.
AB  - U radu je proučavan uticaj velikog broja domaćih i inostranih genotipova šećerne repe na prinos i tehnološki kvalitet korena. Ogledi su izvedeni na DD Stari Tamiš u Pančevu, u periodu 1998-2002. godine, na zemljištu tipa černozem, zaraženom rizomanijom. Od velikog broja testiranih genotipova (42-55), u radu su prikazani rezultati za 8 domaćih i 12 inostranih. Među ovim genotipovima dve domaće sorte ( Dana i Al omona) su osetljive na rizomaniju, a sve ostale su tolerantne prema pomenutom patogenu. U istraživanjima su postignuti sledeći važniji rezultati Prosečno variranje prinosa korena proučavanih genotipova kretalo se u granicama od 73,98 do 93,30 t/ha, sadržaj šećera u korenu od 11,90 do 13,36% i prinosa biološkog šećera od 9,19 do 11,45 t/ha. Genotipovi tolerantni na rizomaniju dali su u proseku za preko 42% veći prinos korena od osetljivih genotipova. Prinos biološkog šećera je pokazao direktnu zavisnost od prinosa korena po jedinici površine. Kao najproduktivniji genotipovi u ovim istraživanjima pokazali su se: Dorotea, Ippolita, Rama 4, Rama 5, Rama 6 H-6851, Gina i NS-H-8r.
