AB  - In this paper result of external characteristics of brooding eggs originating from two breeds are presented, New-Hampshire and Sombor Crested, bread in semi extensive breeding system. Research was conducted on 30eggs from each analyzed breed, the parent flocks. Aim of the research was to examine the influence of genotype on basic egg quality parameters such as, weight, length, width and shape index for the brood as well as specifying the possibilities for preserving and enhancing the productive and reproductive traits of autochthonous chicken breeds compared to imported breeds. Obtained results point at the fact that Sombor Crested as autochthonous breed regarding the weight of eggs has similar results as New-Hampshire, as difference 1, 04 g has not shown any statistically significant difference (P>0,05). However, the obtained difference in length (0,48 cm) and width of the eggs (0,16 cm) were bigger at New-Hampshire breed and statistically significant (P lt 0,001), while at shape index difference of 1,00% was higher and statistically significant (P lt 0,001) at Sombor Crested. Results of conducted research shows that it is needed to pay more attention in brooding eggs quality, specially for autochthonous chicken breeds, then towards the breeding direction all with the goal to better their productive and reproductive traits. Moreover, by doing that we will preserve the autochthonous genetic potential of different species, breeds and lineages of chicken.
AB  - U radu su izloženi rezultati ispitivanja spoljašnjih osobina kvaliteta jaja za nasad poreklom od dve rase kokoši, Njuhempšir i Somborska kaporka, gajenih u poluekstenzivnom sistemu držanja. Ispitivanja su izvršena na uzorku od po 30 jaja od obe analizirane rase, odnosno matična jata. Cilj istraživanja je bio da se ispita uticaj genotipa na osnovne pokazatelje kvaliteta jaja, kao što su masa, dužina, širina i indeks oblika jaja za nasad i konkretnijeg sagledavanja mogućnosti očuvanja i unapređenja proizvodno - reproduktivnih sposobnosti autohnonih rasa kokoši u odnosu na uvozne rase. Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju na činjenicu da Somborska kaporka, kao autohtona rasa kokoši, u pogledu mase jaja ostvaruje slične rezultate kao Njuhempšir rasa, jer razlika od 1,04 g nije pokazala statistički značajnu razliku (P>0,05). Međutim, utvrđene razlike kod dužine (0,48 cm) i širine jaja (0,16 cm) su bile veće kod Njuhempšir rase kokoši i statistički signifikantne (P lt 0,001), dok je kod indeksa oblika razlika od 1,00% bila veća i statistički značajna (P lt 0,001) kod Somborske kaporke. Rezultati sprovedenih istraživanja ukazuju na to da je potrebno posvetiti veću pažnju ispitivanju kvaliteta jaja za nasad, naročito kod autohtonih rasa kokoši, zatim pravcu odgajivanja u cilju poboljšanja njihovih proizvodno - reproduktivnih sposobnosti, a samim tim i očuvanja autohtonog genetskog potencijala različitih vrsta, rasa i sojeva živine.

AB  - The experiment was conducted to determine the value of incubation eggs laid by two native breeds or strains of chicken (white naked neck and black Svrljig chicken) that are grown in rural parts of our country and to the extensive system of keeping. The collected eggs from several rural households were incubated in the experimental laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture - Belgrade, Zemun. Of hatching of deposited eggs was higher in white strain naked neck chickens and was 80.00%, and the black hen Svrljig 78.02%. The average egg weight was also a statistically significant (P lt 0.001, P lt 0.01) higher in white naked neck chickens than strain Svrljig black hens (61.27 g - 57.67 g), and scores of day-old chicks (41.13 g - 39.47 g), while the relative share of the weight saw the egg weight was higher in black Svrljig strain of 1.27 g (67.16% - 68.43%), but the difference was not statistically confirmed (P> 0.05). In both strains of laying eggs between weight and weight of chickens were found statistically significant coefficients of phenotypic correlation (P  lt 0.001). Between the weight of eggs and the relative share of chicken in the egg weight yielded a negative correlation (rp = -0.204ns) with white naked neck chickens and the black Svrljig positive (rp = 0.056ns).
AB  - Eksperiment je sproveden u cilju utvrđivanja inkubacionih vrednosti jaja poreklom od dve autohtone rase, odnosno soja kokoši (bela golovrata i crna svrljiška kokoš) koje se gaje u ruralnim delovima naše zemlje i to u ekstenzivnim uslovima držanja. Prikupljena jaja sa nekoliko seoskih domaćinstava su inkubirana u oglednoj laboratoriji Poljoprivrednog fakulteta - Beograd, Zemun. Izvodljivost pilića od broja uloženih jaja bila je veća kod belog soja golovrate kokoši i iznosila je 80,00%, a kod crne svrljiške kokoši 78,02%. AB  - In this paper we came to goose eggs incubation results of biracely half-breeds (chinese goose x danube goose), the dynamics of eggs weight loss during the incubation period, as well as the intensity of phenotypic correlation connection between eggs weight before incubation period and one day old goosling weight. Fertilization of eggs was 67,92%, hatchibility was 52,83% (out of initial number of eggs), more exactly 77,78% (out of number of fertility eggs). Average eggs weight before incubation was 151,79g, and weight of one day old goosling was 103,07g, which means that relative part of goosling in eggs weight was 67,90%. The total phenotipic correlation connection between eggs weight before incubation and hatched gooslings was found r(p)=0,987***, between eggs weight and relative part of goosling in eggs weight was established middle negative correlation connection, r(p)=0,425*.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati inkubacije guščijih jaja dvorasnih meleza gusaka (kineska kvrgava x podunavska), zatim dinamika gubitka mase jaja u toku inkubacionog perioda, kao i jačina fenotipske korelacione povezanosti između mase jaja pre inkubacionog perioda i mase izleženih jednodnevnih guščića. Oplođenost jaja iznosila je 67,92%, a izvodljivost guščića 52,83% (od broja uloženih jaja), odnosno 77,78% (od broja oplođenih jaja). Prosečna masa jaja pre inkubacije iznosila je 151,79 g, a masa izleženih jednodnevnih guščića 103,07 g, što znači da je relativni udeo guščeta u masi jajeta iznosio 67,90%.
