Feedstuff s based on soybean in nutrition of cows

AB  - The objective of this study was to compare effects of products derived from soybeans, with different oil content, on milk production and some, more important indicators of metabolic profile, during the middle period of lactation. The experiment was conducted on two groups of Holstein cows. There were 15 cows in each group. The ration of the control group of cows (I), was based on equal amounts of full-fat and low-fat (expeller soybeans meal), heat treated soybeans. Cows in experimental group (II) were received ration, wherein full-fat heat treated soybeans, was completely replaced with expeller soybeans meal (Biopro 60). At the end of experiment, milk production in control group of cows was 29.95 kg with butterfat content 3.54%, while in the experimental group it was 31.47 kg of milk with the butterfat content 3.45%. The differences of mentioned parameters were not statistically significant (p>0.05), nor in the case of protein content which was 3.50% in control group and 3.48% in experimental group of cows. According to achieved results it can be concluded that is possible to improve production, when nutrition of cows is based on soybean products with lower fat content, during the middle period of lactation.
AB  - Cilj istraživanja je bio poređenje uticaja proizvoda od soje, sa različitim sadržajem ulja, na proizvodne rezultate i važnije pokazatelje metaboličkog profila krava, u srednjem periodu laktacije. Ogled je sproveden na dve grupe krava, crno-bele rase u tipu Holštajna, sa po 15 grla u grupi. Obrok kontrolne grupe krava (I) zasnivao se na kombinaciji termički tretirane soje, punomasne i obezmašćene (sojina pogača). Krave ogledne grupe (II) konzumirale su obrok, u kome je punomasna termički tretirana soja u potpunosti zamenjena sojinom pogačom (Biopro 60). Na kraju ogleda, u kontrolnoj grupi, ostvarena je proizvodnja mleka od 29,95 kg, sa sadržajem mlečne masti od 3,54%, dok je u oglednoj grupi ostvarena proizvodnja od 31,47 kg sa 3,45% mlečne masti. Razlike u napred pomenutim proizvodnim pokazateljima nisu bile statistički značajne (p>0,05), kao ni u slučaju sadržaja proteina koji je u prvoj grupi bio 3,50%, a u drugoj grupi 3,48%. Na osnovu ostvarenih rezulata, može se zaključiti da je moguće uticati na povećanje proizvodnje mleka korišćenjem proizvoda na bazi soje sa manjim sadržajem ulja, u ishrani krava, u srednjem periodu laktacije.

AB  - The main objective of this research was to study the effect of rations containing full-fat extruded soybeans or fat-extracted heat treated soybean meal, in the nutrition of dairy cows during the period of middle lactation. The study was carried out with two groups of 15 Holstein cows. The animal's health was controlled on the basis of body condition score, results in production, general condition of animals and some of the most important biochemical parameters of blood serum. In the case of nutrition based on rations where the total amount of soybeans was extruded or where it was partially replaced with fat-extracted heat treated soybean meal, the production of 4% fat corrected milk was 28.43 and 28.78 kg. Observed differences were not statistically significant (p > 0.05). The differences in the achieved average content of milk fat (3.38 and 3.45%) and protein (3.48 and 3.48%) were not statistically significant (p > 0.05). Results of this work shows that the partial replacement of full-fat extruded soybeans with soybeans based products

The efficiency of domestic milk replacers use in calves nutrition

AB  - In this paper are presented results of usage of domestic and imported milk replacers. Domestic replacer is produced in the Factory of plant oils and proteins "Bioprotein" from Obrenovac, within the business system "Bankom", Belgrade. Domestic milk replacer quality was adjusted according to modern regulations in calves’ nutrition. The best materials were applied as milk replacer’s ingredients. Basically it consisted of milk powder, whey powder, fool fat, heated and blanched NGM soybean, isolated soybean proteins, yeast, concentrated fats, dextrose, emulsifier, mineral and vitamin additives, antioxidant, amino acids, toxin adsorbents and other materials. Production was conducted on highly specialized equipment. Contents of bacteria per one gram of sample was lower than 50,000. There were no of fungi, mould or pathogenic microorganisms present in the sample. Calves were consuming milk replacers in the amount of 6-7 L daily, but divided in two equal quantities in the morning and evening. Period of liquid nutrition lasted two months, which was the end of the trial. During the trial, calves that were consuming domestic milk replacer achieved average daily body weight gain (526 g), higher compared to calves that were consuming imported milk replacer (479 g). The deference was statistically significant (p lt 0.05). There were no health disorders or mortality, in both groups of calves.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati ispitivanja upotrebe domaće i uvozne zamene za mleko. Domaća zamena za mleko proizvedena je u Fabrici biljnih ulja i proteina "Bioprotein" iz Obrenovca, poslovni sistem "Bankom" Beograd. Kvalitet ove zamene za mleko bio je usaglašen sa savremenim normativima o potrebama teladi u hranljivim i drugim sastojcima. Bila je sačinjena na bazi najkvalitetnijih sirovina, pretežno domaćeg porekla (mleko u prahu, surutku u prahu, punomasno termički obrađeno brašno ljuštenog i genetski nemodifikovanog zrna soje, izolat proteina soje, kvasac, koncentrat masti, dekstroza, emulgator, mineralni dodaci, vitamini, antioksidant - BHT, aminokiseline, adsorbent toksina, aroma i drugi dodaci). Proizvodnja je obavljena na specijalizovanoj opremi. Sadržaj bakterija u uzorku bio je manji od 50.000 u gramu. Prisustvo gljivica, plesni i patogenih mikroorganizama nije utvrđeno. Zamena za mleko davana je teladima u količini od 6-7 L/dan, u dve jednake porcije (jutro i veče). Napajanje teladi tečnom hranom trajalo je do dva meseca uzrasta, odnosno kraja ogleda. Quality and quantity transformations of nitrogen substances in maize silage with added urea and organozeolite

AB  - In this experiment the influence of urea and organozeolite addition on quality and quantity of nitrogen fractions, chemical composition and quality of maize plant silages was investigated. The experiment was organized as a two factorial, where first factor (A) was addition of urea (a1=0; a2=5 g/kg; a3=10 g/kg green mass) and second factor (B) was addition of organozeolite (b1=0; b2=2 g/kg green mass). Results of chemical analyses showed that with the addition of urea there was a significant increase in the amount of crude, ammonia and soluble nitrogen, and decrease in the amount of true protein nitrogen. Under the influence of urea and organozeolite there were significant variations in absolute values for lactic, acetic and butyric acid. At the same time the relative ratio of organic acids was similar, and therefore all silages were ranked as I quality class according to Flieg scoring system.
AB  - U eksperimentu je ispitivan uticaj dodavanja uree i organozeolita na hemijski sastav i kvalitet silaža spremljenih od cele biljke kukuruza. Ogled je postavljen kao dvofaktorijalni, gde je prvi faktor (A) bio količina dodate uree (a1=0; a2=5; a3=10 g/kg zelene mase), a drugi faktor (B) količina dodatog organozeolita (b1=0; b2=2 g/kg zelene mase). Dodatak uree uticao je značajno na povećanja količine ukupnog, amonijačnog i rastvorljivog azota i smanjenje količine proteinskog azota. Upotrebom organozeolita smanjena je produkcija amonijaka i rastvorljivost azotnih materija. Pod uticajem uree i organozeolita došlo je do značajnog variranja apsolutnih vrednosti za mlečnu, sirćetnu i buternu kiselinu. Nasuprot tome, njihov relativni odnos se nije bitnije menjao, pa su sve silaže ocenjene I klasom po Flieg-u.

AB  - The influence of addition of Zenural 70, urea and Min-A-Zel Plus on chemical composition and quality of whole maize plant silage with different degree of compression was investigated in the paper. Experiment was two-factorial (2x3) with three replications, where factor A was a degree of compression (A, = 680 g/dm³; A2 = 550 g/dm³), while factor B was an additive type (Decontrol; B2=5 g/kg urea+2 g/kg Min-A-Zel Plus; B3=5 g/kg Zenural 70). Chemical analyses showed that with the addition of Zenural 70 and urea there was significant increase of pH value, total protein, mineral ammonia and soluble nitrogen content. The type of additive had no significant effect on production of lactic, acetic and butyric acid, while in silages with higher degree of compression (680 g/dm3) there was significantly more butyric acid. All silages were graded first class according to DLG and Flieg method, with the exception of lower compressed silage with added urea and Min-A-Zel Plus, which according to Flieg was second class. According to Zelter method, silages with added Zenural 70 were II and III class, while treatments with added urea and Min-A-Zel Plus were IV and V class.
AB  - U eksperimentu je ispitivan uticaj dodavanja Zenurala 70 i uree na hemijski sastav i kvalitet silaža ćele biljke kukuruza sa različitim stepenom sabijenosti. Eksperiment je postavljen kao dvofaktorijalni ogled (2x3) u tri ponavljanja, gde je faktor A bio stepen sabijenosti (A1 = 680 g/dm³; A2 = 550 g/dm³), a faktor B vrsta dodatka (Bi = kontrola; B2 = 5 g/kg uree + 2 g/kg Min-A-Zel-a Plus; B3 = 5 g/kg Zenurala 70). Hemijskim analizama je utvrđeno da je pri dodavanju Zenurala 70 i uree došlo do signifikantnog povećanja pH vrednosti i količine sirovih proteina, mineralnih materija, amonijačnog i rastvorljivog azota. Vrsta dodatka nije značajno uticala na produkciju mlečne, sirćetne i buterne kiseline, dok je u silažama sa većim stepenom sabijenosti (680 g/dm3) ustanovljeno statistički više buterne kiseline. Sve silaže su prema DLG i Flieg-ovoj metodi ocenjene prvo klasom kvaliteta, sa izuzetkom silaže manje sabijenosti sa dodatkom uree i Min-A-Zel-a Plus, koja je prema Flieg-u ocenjena drugom klasom. Prema Zelter-ovoj metodi silaže sa dodatkom Zenurala 70 su bile II i III klase, dok su tretmani sa dodatkom uree i Min-A-Zel-a plus bile IV i V klase.

AB  - The contemporary informations about importance and possibilities for maintaining the optimal electrochemical reaction in the organism in high yielding dairy cows were given in this paper. The most important functions were shown for cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, Na+) and anions (P3-, S2-, Cl-), and variability in their content in feedstuffs. The equations for calculation the cation/anion balance (DCAD)in cow diets were given and practical examples of their use. It is concluded that the problem of optimal electrochemical reaction in the body of high yielding dairy cows can be solved, although to a limited extent, using feedstuffs with favorable cation/anion ratio. When it is not possible to solve the problem with feedstuff choice, the effective way is to use chemical compounds in the form of cation and anion salts, and preparations based on natural minerals (zeolite, bentonite). The results of experiments where some DCAD-regulating mixtures were used and their effects on prevention of hypocalcaemia, which causes puerperal paresis, and the main productive and reproductive parameters in cows.
AB  - U radu se razmatraju novija saznanja o održavanju optimalne elektrohemijske reakcije u organizmu visokomlečnih krava. Ukazano je na važnije funkcije katjona (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, Na+) i anjona (P3-, S2- Cl-) i posledice njihovog deficita ili suficita u obrocima. Date su formule za izračunavanje bilansa katjona i anjona u obrocima (BKAO) i praktični primeri njihove primene. Zaključeno je da se elektrohemijska reakcija u buragu, a time i u organizmu visokomlečnih krava može rešiti korišćenjem hraniva sa odgovarajućim odnosom katjona i anjona. Kada ne postoji mogućnost da se ovaj problem reši izborom hraniva, efikasan put je korišćenje preparata na bazi soli ili prirodnih mineralnih sirovina ( zeolit i bentonit i dr).

Influence of min-a-zel plus and maize meal addition on the quality of lucerne silage

AB  - The influence of mineral adsorbent Min-A-Zel Plus (5 g/kg) and maize meal (25 and 50 g/kg) used alone or combined, on chemical composition, biochemical changes and quality of lucerne silage was investigated. Based on the obtained data, it can be concluded that addition of Min-A-Zel Plus reduces aminogenesis, while the use of maize meal alone or with zeolite favorable conditions are achieved for lactic acid fermentation, so that the quality of obtained silages is better by one quality class. To achieve better effects of silage quality, the use of combination of mineral adsorbent with carbohydrate additives is recommended.
AB  - U radu je ispitivan uticaj mineralnog adsorbenta Min-A-Zel-a Plus (5g/kg), i kukuruzne prekrupe (25 i 50 g/kg), korišćenih pojedinačno ili u međusobnim kombinacijama na hemijski sastav, biohemijske promene i kvalitet silaža lucerke. Statistički model ogleda je bio slučajan plan a svaki tretman je rađen u tri ponavljanja. Na osnovu utvrđenih podataka zaključuje se da dodavanjem Min-A-Zel-a-Plus dolazi do redukcije aminogeneze, a pri korišćenju kukuruzne prekrupe u čistom vidu ili u kombinaciji sa zeolitom do favorizovanja mlečnokiselinskog vrenja i postizanja kvaliteta silaža boljeg za jednu klasu. U cilju postizanja većeg efekta na kvalitet silaže preporučuje se kombinovanje mineralnih adsorbenata na bazi zeolita sa ugljenohidratnim dodacima.

The influence of zeolite on the quality of fresh beet pulp silages

AB  - The influence of different doses of natural zeolite addition on chemical composition and quality of beet pulp silages was investigated. Beet pulp was ensiled in the sugar factory in Požarevac immediately after they were obtained, or after 9 or 17 days. The two-factorial trial was conducted where the first factor (A) was the time of ensiling expressed in days after the pulp was obtained (a1= O; a2 = 9; a3 = 17), while the second factor (B) was the amount of zeolite added (b1= 0; b2 = 0.05; b3 = 0.25 and b4 = 1.25% in dry matter or 0; 50; 250 and 1250 g zeolite per 100 kg of raw beet pulp). Sample collection for standard chemical composition and quality estimation was taken 60 days after the beginning of the ensiling. The results from the literature show that adding technologically processed natural zeolite (Min-a-Zel, produced by ITNMS, Belgrade) while ensiling beet pulp has significant influence on the increase of lactic acid production, decrease in bonded acetic acid content and lower pH value. The influence of explained doses of zeolite on standard chemical composition is smaller and mostly of relative value. The only real changes in chemical composition are the increase in dry matter and mineral content. In the ensiling of the beet pulp stored in the longer period of time, the more intensive fermentation processes were achieved and the production of organic acids was larger which has better conserving effects on silage.
AB  - U ogledu je ispitivan uticaj dodavanja različitih doza prirodnog zeolita na hemijski sastav i kvalitet silaža spremljenih od repinih rezanaca. Rezanci su silirani u fabrici šećera u Požarevcu, odmah po dobijanju ili posle 9 i 17 dana. Ogled je postavljen kao dvofaktorijalni, gde je prvi faktor (A) bio vreme siliranja, izraženo u danima po dobijanju rezanaca (a1 = 0; a2 = 9 i a3 = 17 dana), a drugi faktor (B) količina zeolita (b1 = 0; b2 = 0,05; b3 = 0,25 i b4 = 1,25% u odnosu na suvu materuju, odnosno, 0; 50; 250 i 1250 g zeolita na 100 kg sirovih rezanaca. Uzimanje uzoraka za utvrđivanje standardne hemijske analize i parametara kvaliteta silaža obavljeno je 60 dana po siliranju. Rezultati obavljenih istraživanja pokazuju da dodavanje tehnološki obrađenog prirodnog zeolita (Min-a-Zel, proizvod ITNMS, Beograd) pri siliranju repinih rezanaca signifikantno utiče na povećanje produkcije mlečne kiseline, smanjenje sadržaja vezane sirćetne kiseline i smanjenje pH vrednosti. Uticaj navedenih doza zeolita na standardni hemijski sastav je bio neznatan. Jedine promene količine pojedinih materija su povećanje stepena suve materije i količine mineralnog ostatka. Pri siliranju repinih rezanaca koji su duže stajali na depou postižu se intenzivniji fermentacioni procesi i dobija se veća ukupna količina organskih kiselina koje imaju konzervišuće dejstvo za silažu.

Influence of Min-a-zel Plus on biochemical, microbiological and mycotoxicological parameters of lucerne silage

AB  - Lucerne of the 5th cut in the budding phase was ensiled in the experiment as fresh and wilted (DM= 220 and 360 g/kg), with two degrees of compression (520 and 380 g/dm3) and with added Min-a-zel plus as 2 g/kg green mass. The experiment was performed as the statistical model 2K. 	Min-a-zel plus used as 2 g/kg green mass had no influence on biochemical, microbiological and mycotoxicological parameters of lucerne silage. Compared to the beginning material, silages had more diverse microflora and more mycotoxins. All silages had high pH values and fermentation of the acetic acid type. Some improvement was achieved with wilting of the ensiling material. The least quality (V class) was obtained with fresh lucerne, which was less compressed, while others were ranked as IV quality class. 	The obtained results fortify the need for further investigations in developing correct doses of Min-a-zel plus to be used in ensiling of lucerne and other materials.
AB  - U eksperimentu je silirana lucerka V otkosa u fazi butonizacije kao sveža i provenula (SM = 220 i 360 g/kg), sa dva stepena sabijenosti (520 i 380 g/dm3) i sa dodatkom Min-a-zela Plus, 2 g/kg zelene mase. Ogled je postavljen po statističkom modelu 2K. Min-a-zel Plus korišćen u dozi od 2 g/kg zelene mase nije uticao na biohemijske, mikrobiološke i mikotoksikološke parametre silaža lucerke. U odnosu na početni materijal silaže su sadržale raznovrsniju mikrofloru i veću količinu mikotoksina. Sve silaže su se odlikovale visokim pH vrednostima i fermentacijom sirćetnokiselinskog tipa. Izvesno poboljšanje je postignuto provenjavanjem biljnog materijala. Najlošiji kvalitet (V klasa) imale su silaže od sveže lucerke sa manjim stepenom sabijenosti, dok su ostale ocenjene IV klasom kvaliteta. Utvrđeni rezultati ukazuju na neophodnost nastavljanja ispitivanja u cilju utvrđivanja optimalne doze Min-a-zela Plus za siliranje lucerke i drugih sirovina.

New possibilities for preservation of essential milk components

AB  - Milk yield and content of main milk components are dominantly genetically determined characteristics. This fact must be considered while searching for possibilities for improving milk yield, dry matter, fat and protein. The effect of nutrition on milk yield and content of milk components is very significant. Cows with the genetic potential for production over 6 000 kg of milk in lactation show even more significant impact of this effect. Such genetic potential creates new requirements in nutrition of cows; increased feedstuff quality, inclusion of feedstuff rich in energy and protein addition of minerals, vitamins and other supplements if necessary. Application of proper herd management and working processes on the farm modern technological and technical milking solutions, housing conditions of the cows, also have effect on the milk yield and content of some milk components, mainly dry matter, fat, and partially protein. Usage of cottonseed in nutrition of cows, in amount of 1,5 kg/day contribute to the enhancement of milk production, dry matter, fat and protein in milk. For this reason, especially in nutrition of highyielding cows, use of cottonseed is justified.The limiting factor for use of cottonseed can be disorder of cereal and oilseed meal or cottonseed price parity. Use of minerals with buffer characteristics, based on natural raw minerals, with various and complementary physical and chemical characteristics, has a positive effect on enhancement of milk production, dry matter and fat content in milk. Protein content is slightly changed. Therefore, buffer supplementation especially in stressing conditions of nutrition of highyielding cows, can be fully justified.
AB  - U radu se analiziraju faktori koji mogu da utiču na promenu sadržaja važnijih sastojaka mleka i prezentiraju najnoviji rezultati istraživanja o mogućnostima njihovog očuvanja. Posebna pažnja posvećena je, pored genetskih, grupi paragenetskih faktora koji se odnose na normative o potrebama grla u hranljivim materijama, kvalitetu i osobinama pojedinih hraniva i dodataka obrocima. Skrenuta je pažnja i na značaj primene odgovarajuće tehnike hranjenja krava. Izneseni su rezultati prema kojima dodatak 1,5 kg zrna pamuka u obrok krava, odnosno 3–4% mineralne predsmeše (na bazi bentonita, organozeolita, sode bikarbone i magnezijum oksida) u superkoncentrat za krave (30% ukupnih proteina) utiče na povećanje mlečne masti za 0,1–0,2 procenat poena uz adekvatno povećanje sadržaja suve materije i neznatno povećanje sadržaja proteina u mleku.

AB  - The results of the use of mineral adsorbent - Minazel, preparation based on the natural zeolite, in the prevention of mycotoxicoses and avoidance of zearalenone and its metabolites transfer into cow´s milk were described in this paper. Using mineral adsorbent Minazel at the concentration of 0,5% of concentrate mixture the transfer of zearalenone from feeds to milk was prevented.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati korišćenja adsorbenta mikotoksina - Minazel preparata na bazi prirodnog zeolita, u prevenciji mikotoksikoza i sprečavanju prelaska (akumuliranja) zearalenona i njegovih metabolita u mleku krava. Mikotoksikološkim analizama mleka utvrđeno je da je prisustvo zearalenona u mleku (0,053; 0,019 i 0,004 mg/kg) opadalo sa povećanjem količine Minazela u koncentratu (0; 0,2; 0,5), što uz ostvareno povećanje proizvodnje mleka opravdava njegovo korišćenje.

AB  - The results of the investigation of cottonseed utilization efficiency in lactating cows nutrition are presented in this paper. Experiment was conducted on 20 cows (divided in two groups) in Holstein breed type. Rations contained similar amount of energy and protein. Dry matter content of control group ration composed of alfalfa, wheat straw, concentrate, brewers' grains and soybean meal was 32,37:3,87:14,84:9,89:34,03 i 4,13% respectively. The experimental group was fed with ration where 2,2 kg of concentrate dry matter was replaced with 1,84 kg of cottonseed and 0,36 kg of soybean meal dry matter. Protein percent in dry matter was 16,53 and 16,92%, and energy 6,54 and 6,66 MJ NEL/kg. Cottonseed addition had positive effects on milk (29,47:31,05 kg) and 4% FCM production (26,55:29,51 kg) milk fat content increased from 3,34 to 3,67%, and protein from 2,80 to 2,95 % (p>0.05). Dry matter intake per kg of produced milk in experimental group was lower by 6,66%, and 11,90 % for fat corrected milk, which reduced rate of nutrition costs in milk price by 4,48 percentage points.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati istraživanja efikasnosti korišćenja zrna pamuka u ishrani krava u laktaciji. Istraživanje je izvedeno na dvadeset krava (podeljenih u dve grupe po 10) crno bele rase u tipu holštajna. Obroci su sadržavali približno istovetnu količinu energije i proteina. Kontrolna grupa hranjena je obrokom u kojem je udeo SM iz zelene lucerke, pšenične slame koncentrata, sirovog pivskog tropa i sojine sačme iznosio 32,37:3,87:14,84:9,89:34,03 i 4,13%. U obroku II grupe krava 2,2 kg SM iz koncentrata bilo je zamenjeno sa 1,84 kg SM iz zrna pamuka, i 0,36 kg SM iz sačma soje. Udeo proteina u SM ispitivanih obroka iznosio je 16,53 i 16,92% a energije 6,54 i 6,66 NEL/kg. Uključivanje zrna pamuka u obrok krava pozitivno je uticalo na produkciju namuženog (29,47:31,05 kg) i na mast (4% mm) korigovanog mleka (26,55:29,51 kg), i povećanje masti, sa 3,34 na 3,67%, odnosno, proteina, sa 2,80 na 2,95 % (p>0.05). Utrošak suve materije obroka za kg mleka u krava koje su dobijale pamuk bio je manji za 6,66,% za namuženo odnosno 11,90 % za mast korigovano mleko, što se odrazilo na smanjeno učešće troškova ishrane u ceni mleka, za 4,48 procenat poena.

AB  - The results of the use of mineral adsorbent - Minazel, a preparation based on natural zeolite, in the prevention of mycotoxicoses and avoidance of zearalenone and its metabolites transfer into cow's milk were described in this paper. Using mineral adsorbent Minazel in a concentration of 0.5% of concentrate mixture the transfer of zearalenone from feeds to milk was prevented.
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati korišćenja adsorbenta mikotoksina - Minazel, preparata na bazi prirodnog zeolita, u prevenciji mikotoksikoza i sprečavanju prelaska (akumuliranja) zearalenona i njegovih metabolita u mleko krava. Mikotoksikološkim analizama mleka utvrđeno je da je prisustvo zearalenona u mleku (0,053; 0,019 i 0,004 mg/kg) opadalo sa povećanjem količine Minazela u koncentratu (0; 0,2; 0,5), što uz ostvareno povećanje proizvodnje mleka opravdava njegovo korišćenje.

AB  - Visoka proizvodnja opisanih grla je izuzetna i ne može se očekivati da u doglednoj budućnosti krave počnu masovnije da je dostižu. Međutim, ti pojedina ni slučajevi ukazuju na mogućnost visoke proizvodnje a što je posebno važno, na činjenicu da je ona moguća sa hranivima koja se koriste i za sva ostala grla. Značajno je napomenuti da su ta hraniva prisutna i u našoj zemlji. Proučavaju i ishranu i čitav sistem odgajivanja rekordnih grla može se doći do zaključka šta treba raditi da bi se dobilo više mleka i od ostalih krava. U tom smislu jasne su dve stvari: 1) ishrana se ne može posmatrati kao poseban činilac već kao deo celokupnog menadžmenta na farmi, i 2) da bi se ostvarila visoka proizvodnja neophodno je izuzetno veliko konzumiranje suve materije. Da bi se ostvario visok obim konzumiranja suve materije potreban za visoku proizvodnju mleka potrebno je raspolagati sa kabastom hranom izvanrednog kvaliteta. Ukoliko se ne raspolaže sa dovoljno kvalitetnom kabastom hranom, što pre svega treba da obezbedi sam odgajivač - farmer, od male koristi će biti najsavremeniji ishrambeni normativi i visok genetski potencijal za proizvodnju mleka koji je rezultat dugogodišnjeg truda u oplemenjivanju goveda.

AB  - The goal of this paper is to present the new recommendations for calf feeding, published by National Research Council (2001) as the seventh revised edition. In the new edition requirements for some nutrients, and values of energy content for maintance and growth in calves fed milk and milk repalcer are corrected. Protein requirements for calves weighing up to 100 kg, are defined more accurately. Corrections and amendments of some previously undefined questions and problems in calf nutrition in new edition are made, regarding the new knowledge and research results.
AB  - U ovom radu predstavljeni su novi normativi za ishranu teladi koje je publikovao National Research Council 2001. godine, kao sedmo dopunjeno izdanje. Novo izdanje donosi korekcije u potrebama pojedinih hranljivih materija, vrednosti sadržaja neto energije za održanje uzdržnih potreba i prirast kod teladi hranjen mlekom ili zamenom za mleko, i preciznije su definisane potrebe u proteinima za telad do 100 kg telesne mase u odnosu na izdanje iz 1989. godine. U novom izdanju izvršene su ispravke i dopune nedorečenih pitanja i problema u ishrani teladi, a u skladu sa novim saznanjima i rezultatima.

AB  - The trial was conducted on three groups of Frisian calves to investigate the usefulness of milk replacers. Experiment lasted 30 days. The control group received full-fat milk, the first experimental group received domestic milk replacer and the second experimental group received imported milk replacer. All groups were fed ad lib with concentrate mixture with 18% crude protein lucerne hay and water. During the experimental period the biggest growth and the best feed conversion ratio was achieved in the calves in control group which received cow's milk. Calves that received domestic milk replaced had intermediate result while the calves that received imported milk replacer had the lowest performances.
AB  - Ispitivanje efikasnosti korišćenja zamena za mleko u ishrani teladi, u tečnom periodu ishrane (0-60 dana uzrasta), izvedeno je na 30 teladi crno-bele rase, u tipu holštajna, podeljenih u tri grupe po 10 grla. Kontrolna grupa (K) je napajana punomasnim mlekom, prva ogledna grupa (A) zamenom za mleko domaće proizvodnje a druga ogledna grupa (B) zamenom iz uvoza. Koncentracija suve materije u zamenama za mleko iznosila je 12,5% i davana je teladima u količini od 6 lit/dan. Sve tri grupe dobijale su po volji koncentrat (17% ukupnih proteina), seno lucerke i vodu. U periodu napajanja, najveći dnevni prirast (547g) ostvarila su telad K grupe, koji je za 112g ili 25,75% bio veći od prirasta A grupe (435g) a za 124g ili 29,31% od prirasta B grupe (423g). Utvrđene razlike u prirastu bile su statistički značajne (p lt 0.05) Iskorišćavanje hrane bilo je najbolje u teladi napajane kravljim mlekom. Telad napajana domaćom zamenom za mleko imala su intermedijarnu vrednost iskorišćavanja hrane (između K i B grupe teladi).

The new system brings changes in almost every aspect of cow feeding. The equations for the calculation of energy of the diet are changed and protein value is expressed in a new way. The dry matter intake calculated is based on new equations while more attention is paid to carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. The use of in situ obtained values is enabled in order to adjust values for feeds used in various farms. However, before this system is used in our country, like in the case of 1989 recommendations, it will be necessary to build a database with all relevant parameters for domestic feeds used in the feeding if dairy cows.
AB  - U radu su prikazani normativi koje je objavila NRC tokom 2001. godine. Ovi normativi predstavljaju značajan korak napred u odnosu na prethodne iz 1989 koji su bili široko prihvaćeni u mnogim zemljama sveta i na osnovu kojih je u mnogim zapatima ostvarena proizvodnja kakva ranije nije bila moguća. Novi sistem donosi promené u gotovo svim segmentima ishrane krava. Promenjene su jednačine za računanje energetske vrednosti i način izražavanja proteinske vrednosti obroka. Procena mogućeg konzumiranja obroka se zasniva na novim jednačinama a veća pažnja je posvećena i ugljenim hidratima, mineralima i vitaminima. Omogućeno je korišćenje podataka dobijenih in situ istraživanjima za hraniva koja se koriste na pojedinim farmama. Međutim, pre primene ovog sistema kod nas, kao što je bio slučaj sa prethodnim iz 1989 biće potrebno da se stvori baza podataka sa svim neophodnim parametrima za domaća hraniva koja se koriste u ishrani krava.

Quality of beet pulp silages with added zeolite

AB  - The influence of natural zeolite on chemical composition and quality of silages prepared from beet pulp was investigated. Beet pulp was ensiled in the sugar producing factory in Požarevac 17 days after their production. The amount of zeolite added was 0; 0,05; 0,25 and 1,25% of dry matter or 0; 50 250 and 1250 g zeolite per 100 kg of beet pulp. The obtained results show that adding technologically processed zeolite (under the name Min-A-Zel produced by ITNMS - Belgrade) while ensiling beet pulp has influenced more intensive fermentation and increased production of lactic and acetic acid production, with lower pH values and favorable ratio of lactic and total acids. The influence of mentioned doses of zeolite on standard chemical analysis was less pronounced and it is mostly of relative nature. The only real changes occurred as the increase of dry matter and mineral content. The use of zeolite even with material with sufficient fermentable sugars induces more intensive lactic acid bacteria activity since more favorable conditions for lactic acid fermentation.
AB  - U ogledu je ispitivan uticaj prirodnog zeolita na hemijski sastav i kvalitet silaža spremljenih od repinih rezanaca. Rezanci su silirani u Fabrici šećera u Požarevcu, 17 dana po dobijanju. Količina dodatog zeolita je bila 0; 0,05 0,25 i 1,25% u odnosu na suvu materiju, odnosno 0; 50; 250 i 1250 g zeolita na 100 kg sirovih rezanaca. Rezultati obavljenih istraživanja pokazuju da dodavanje tehnološki obrađenog prirodnog zeolita (pod nazivom Min-A-Zel proizvod ITNMS -Beograd) pri siliranju repinih rezanaca utiče na intenziviranje fermentacije i povećanje produkcije mlečne i sirćetne kiseline, uz postizanje nižih pH vrednosti i povoljnijeg odnosa mlečne prema ukupnim kiselinama. Uticaj navedenih doza zeolita na standardni hemijski sastav je bio manji, i pretežno je relativnog karaktera. Jedine realne promene količine pojedinih materija su povećanje udela suve materije i povećanje količine mineralnog ostatka. Upotreba zeolita i u materijalu sa dovoljnom količinom fermentabilnih šećera doprinosi intenziviranju aktivnosti bakterija mlečne kiseline, jer se obezbeđuju pogodniji uslovi za fermentaciju mlečnokiselinskog tipa.

AB  - This review article is treating the use of several non-nutritive adsorbents in vitro and their in vivo application as possible solution it treating mycotoxicosis. Adsorbents reviewed were: zeolites, bentonites, HSCAS, various clays and active charcoal. It is shown that with the addition of those non-nutritive adsorbents the effects of mycotoxins, that may be present in significant amounts in animal feeds, could be neutralized to some degree. It must be stressed that there is no single substance that is equally effective in adsorption of all mycotoxins, also that no substance is able to completely eliminate negative mycotoxin effects. .
AB  - Ovaj pregledni rad razmatra upotrebu nekoliko različitih adsorbenata in vitro i njihovu primenu in vivo kao mogući pristup u rešavanju mikotoksikoza. Prikazani adsorbenti su bili: zeoliti, bentoniti i HSCAS. U raduje prikazano da se dodavanjem navedenih nenutritivnih adsorptivnih materija sa većim ili manjim uspehom može neutralizovati dejstvo mikotoksina, koji mogu da budu značajno zastupljeni u stočnoj hrani. Treba istaći da ne postoji materija podjednako efikasna u adsorbciji svih mikotoksina niti takva koja bi u potpunosti eliminisala negativan uticaj mikotoksina.

AB  - The results of using ground soybean grain in feeding lactating cows were shown. The inclusion of 1-2 kg ground soybean grain in diets for cows increased milk amount for 1.76 kg/cow per day and 636 kg/cow per year. The results show that the crude soybean grain has positive influence on milk production and hasn't negative influence on health status cows. .
AB  - U radu su prikazani rezultati korišćenja prekrupljenog sirovog zrna soje u ishrani krava u laktaciji. Uključivanjem 1-2 kg (zavisno od količine mleka) prekrupljenog sirovog zrna soje u obrok krava došlo je do povećanja količine mleka za 1,76 kg/krava dnevno, odnosno za 639 kg/krava godišnje. Rezultati pokazuju da prekrupljeno sirovo zrno soje ima pozitivan uticaj na produkciju mleka i pri tome nema negativnog uticaja na zdravstveno stanje krava. .

AB  - Carbohydrate balancing in order to achieve maximum energy intake with simultaneous providing adequate quantities of fiber in the diet is a very complex problem in feeding of all high producing ruminants, particularly dairy cows. Adequate balance of carbohydrates provides nutrient digestion, high level of microbial protein synthesis and maintains stabile fermentation in the rumen. Since feeding conditions vary very much from farm to farm it is very hard to give clearly defined recommendations related to the share of certain fractions of carbohydrates in the diet. Due to this, along with the frame ensured by recommendations, all production parameters must be carefully observed. In accordance with these observations, diet should be adjusted to feeding conditions on any individual farm.
AB  - Balansiranje ugljenih hidrata sa ciljem konzumiranja maksimalne količine energije uz istovremeno obezbeđivanje adekvatnih količina vlakana u obroku je izuzetno kompleksan problem u ishrani svih visokoproizvodnih preživara, a posebno krava u laktaciji. Adekvatna izbalansiranost ugljenih hidrata obezbeđuje varenje hranljivih materija, omogućuje visoki obim sinteze mikrobijalnog proteina i održava stabilnu fermentaciju u buragu. Pošto ishrambeni uslovi na farmama veoma često i znatno variraju teško je dati sasvim precizno definisane preporuke za zastupljenost pojedinih frakcija ugljenih hidrata u obroku. Zbog toga se, pored okvira koje obezbeđuju postojeći normativi, u praksi moraju pažljivo pratiti svi proizvodni parametri. U skladu sa tim zapažanjima, obrok je potrebno korigovati i prilagoditi aktuelnim uslovima na farmi.

AB  - The effects of high air temperatures and high relative air humidity (from the beginning of May till the end of September) on feeding behavior of cows, milk production and milk fat, were observed in black-pied breed on seven farms in the vicinity of Belgrade during three summers (1997-1999). Green mass (produced in conveyer) in the amount of 20-25 kg a day per cow was a base for the cow feeding ratio. The other part of the ratio consisted of whole maize plant silage (30-35% DM, 10-12 kg), alfalfa hay (1-2 kg), dry beet pulp (2 kg) and concentrate (15% crude protein, 0.25 kg kg-1 milk). Cows were kept in open stables, while water was given at libitum. High environmental temperatures (above 21oC, especially those higher than 26oC) and high air humidity lowered daily intakes of feeds and reduced milk production. The poorer isolation of stables from the direct exposure to sun was, the higher negative effects were.
AB  - Tokom tri letnje sezone (1997-1999) na sedam farmi Korporacije PKB u Pančevačkom Ritu, na kojima se gaje krave crno-bele rase, praćen je uticaj visokih temperatura i relativne vlažnosti vazduha (od početka maja do kraja septembra) na hranidbeno ponašanje krava, proizvodnju i masnoću mleka. Osnovu ishrane krava činio je zeleni konvejer: uljana repica (maj), ozima mešavina (maj i juni), jara mešavina (juni), zelena lucerka i sirak (juli-septembar) i to u količini od 20-25 kg zelene mase po kravi dnevno. Ostali deo obroka sačinjavali su: silaža cele biljke kukuruza (30-35% SM) 10-12 kg, seno lucerke 1-2 kg, suvi rezanci šećerne repe 2 kg, sirovi pivski trop 4 kg i koncentrat (sa 15% sirovih proteina) u količini od 0,25 kg/kg namuženog mleka. Krave su držane vezane u otvorenim stajama, a vodom su napajane po volji iz pojilica. Držanje krava u otvorenim objektima pokazalo se pogodnim u sprečavanju toplotnog stresa. Takođe, ishrana krava zelenom hranom i koncentratima povoljno je uticala na konzumiranje i proizvodnju mleka. Međutim, povremene visoke temperature spoljne sredine (preko 21oC, a naročito one iznad 26oC) i visoka vlažnost vazduha snižavale su konzumiranje hrane i proizvodnju mleka.

Possibilities for whey use in feeding of domestic animals

AB  - Substantial amounts of whey containing significant quantity of high valuable ingredients, such as lactose, proteins, vitamins and minerals remain in the process of cheese production. While 50-90% of whey is used for domestic animals feeding in developed courtiers, in our country, almost negligible amounts are used for that purpose. Dehydrated whey, included in milk replacers for calf, lamb or kid feeding, in pre-starters, starters or complete concentrate mixtures, is used in domestic animals feeding. Due to high operating costs, the whey dehydrating technology is less actual. Hence, the use of liquid whey seems to be a more promising solution. In ruminant and swine feeding, liquid whey can be included up to 30% of diet dry matter. In such a way substantial decreases in concentrate consumption are possible. The very recent solutions in whey usage are based on its improvement by combining it with complementary feeds (soybeans based products, non-protein nitrogen, various fat mixtures etc.). In such a feed combination whey is used as the carrier, while obtained mixtures are of high nutritive values.
AB  - U radu se razmatraju dosadašnji rezultati istraživanja o mogućnosti korišćenja surutke u ishrani domaćih životinja. Veća pažnja posvećena je mogućnosti direktnog uključivanja dehidrirane surutke u zamene za mleko za ishranu teladi. Prikazani su i rezultati istraživanja u kojima je surutka u svežem stanju poslužila kao nosač ili podloga za proizvodnju komponenti za spravljanje zamena za mleko za ishranu teladi kao što su hidrolizovano sojino brašno (33-34% UP) i koncentrat masti (45-50% masti). Predložena su nova i ekonomski racionalna rešenja o mogućnosti korišćenja sveže surutke u kombinaciji sa tostiranim (proteolitičkim) enzimima tretiranim brašnom soje u ishrani teladi, na gazdinstvima na kojima se pored proizvodnje mleka obavlja i prerada mleka odnosno proizvodnja sira. U drugom delu rada izneti su rezultati korišćenja kondenzovane i amonijačne surutke u ishrani krava koji ukazuju da korišćenje ovog oblika surutke u količini od 0,5-1,0 kg po kravi dnevno ima pozitivan uticaj na prinos mleka, sadržaj mlečne masti i proteina u mleku.

Predložena su nova i ekonomski racionalna rešenja o mogućnosti korišćenja sveže surutke u kombinaciji sa tostiranim (proteolitičkim) enzimima tretiranim brašnom soje u ishrani teladi, na gazdinstvima na kojima se pored proizvodnje mleka obavlja i prerada mleka odnosno proizvodnja sira. U drugom delu rada izneti su rezultati korišćenja kondenzovane i amonijačne surutke u ishrani krava koji ukazuju da korišćenje ovog oblika surutke u količini od 0,5-1,0 kg po kravi dnevno ima pozitivan uticaj na prinos mleka, sadržaj mlečne masti i proteina u mleku.",
