Fitness assessment of weedy sunflower populations (Helianthus annuus L.)

AB  - Three weedy sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) populations (WS-P1 and WS-P2 - originated from sites where herbicide ALS inhibitors used many years; WS-P3- was obtained from a site where herbicides was never used) were studied for ecological fitness assessment. Vegetative parameters (plant height, fresh weight, leaf area), relative chlorophyll content, fecundity and percentage of germination, length and weight of seedlings in filed/control conditions were recorded during two years. The most frequently WS-P1 and WS-P2 populations were of better ecological fitness than the WS-P3 population. Based on the results it was found that populations of WS which originated from sites where herbicides permanent used are with better ecological fitness in compare with population which originated from a site where herbicides was never used it was connect with genetic diversity and polymorphism which could promote the invasiveness of these weedy sunflower populations in landscape.
AB  - Tri populacije korovskog suncokreta (Helianthus annuus L.) (KS-P1 i KS-P2 - potiču sa površina gde je duži niz godina bilo primene herbicida ALS inhibitora; KS-P3- potiče sa površine gde nikada nije bilo primene herbicida) su ispitivane u cilju procene njihovog fitnesa. Za procenu fitnesa u poljskim uslovima proučavani su vegetativni parametri (visina biljaka, sveža masa, lisna površina), relativni sadržaj hlorofila, prinos i parametri prinosa (broj glavica po biljci i prečnik glavice). U kontrolisanim uslovima ispitivana je klijavost semena, dužina i masa klijanaca. Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata zaključeno je da populacije KS koje potiču sa površina gde su primenjivani herbicidi su sa boljim vegetativnim i generativnim potencijalom, a što se može dovesti u vezu sa izraženijim genetičkim polimorfizmom koji im omogućava veću i uspešniju invazivnost.

AB  - The effects of herbicides nicosulfuron, rimsulfuron and prosulfuron+primsulfuronmethyl on eight populations of Sorghum halepense L. (Pers.) under controlled conditions were investigated. The herbicides were applied at different rates (0x; 0,5x; 1x; 1,5x; 2x; 3x recommended application rate for field use) when plants reached the height of 20-25 cm. The parameters measured seven days after treatment were leaf surface and fresh and dry mass of plants; the obtained results were then used for ED50 calculations. The response of Sorghum halepense populations to nicosulfuron, rimsulfuron and prosulfuron+primsulfuron-methyl varied from population to population, and depending on the applied rate and the measured parameter. Resistance development was not observed in any of the populations that survived herbicide treatment before seed collecting. Only the population P2 showed somewhat decreased susceptibility to nicosulfuron, which can be regarded as an early stage of resistance development.
AB  - Ispitivane su reakcije 8 populacija vrste Sorghum halepense L. (Pers.) na herbicide nikosulfuron, rimsulfuron i prosulfuron+primisulfuron-metil u kontrolisanim uslovima. Primena različitih količina (0x; 0,5x; 1x; 1,5x; 2x; 3x od količine koja je preporučena za primenu u poljskim uslovima) ovih herbicida izvedena je kada su biljke bile visine 20-25 cm. Sedam dana nakon primene herbicida mereni su sledeći parametri: površina listova, sveža i suva masa biljaka, a na osnovu dobijenih rezultata su određene ED50 vrednosti. Reakcije populacija S. halepense na nikosulfuron, rimsulfuron i prosulfuron+primisulfuronmetil su bile različite u zavisnosti od populacije, količine primene herbicida i ispitivanog parametra. Nijedna od populacija koja je pre sakupljanja semena preživela primenu navedenih herbicida nije razvila rezistentnost. Samo je kod populacije P2 potvrđena smanjena osetljivost na nikosulfuron, koja se može smatrati početkom razvoja rezistentnosti.

AB  - In crop of corn on the of marshy blanck soil type was observed of efficiency of herbicides: the 2,4-D DMA; dikambe; bentazona; mezotriona; prosulfurona; tifensulfuron-metial; prosulfurona and dikambe; mezotriona and terbutilazina; tebutriona and izoksadifenetila; foramsulfurona, jodsulfuron-metil-natrijuma and izoksadifen-etila; s-metolahlora and atrazina. Herbicide efficiency was estimated according to the number of weed plants and their mass per area. On the basis of data efficiency of evaluated tretmant was calculated. By applying the 2,4-D DMA; dikambe; bentazona; mezotriona; prosulfurona; tifensulfuron- metila; prosulfurona and dikambe; mezotriona and terbutilazina; tebutriona and izoksadifen-etila; foramsulfurona, jodsulfuron-metil-natrijuma and izoksadifen-etila; independetly, as and after applying s-metolahlor and atrazine( in specified terms), was noticed various efficiency on present broad weeds. Better results were achieved in combination of soil and foliar applications of herbicide regard to foliar aplication only.
AB  - U usevu kukuruza na zemljištu tipa ritska crnica ispitivana je efikasnost herbicida na bazi aktivnih materija: 2,4-D DMA; dikambe; bentazona; mezotriona; prosulfurona; tifensulfuron-metila; prosulfurona i dikambe; mezotriona i terbutilazina; tebutriona i izoksadifen-etila; foramsulfurona, jodsulfuron-metil-natrijuma i izoksadifen-etila; s-metolahlora i atrazina. Za ocenu delovanja ispitivanih herbicida praćen je broj korovskih biljaka i njihova sveža masa po jedinici površine, iz kog je računata efikasnost ispitivanih tretmana. Primenom 2,4-D DMA; dikambe; bentazona; mezotriona; prosulfurona; tifensulfuronmetila; prosulfurona i dikambe; mezotriona i terbutilazina; tebutriona i izoksadifen-etila; foramsulfurona, jodsulfuron-metil-natrijuma i izoksadifen-etila, samostalno, kao i nakon primene s-metolahlora i atrazina, (u datim uslovima) evidentirana je različita efikasnost na jednogodišnje širokolise korovske vrste. Bolji rezultati su postignuti u kombinaciji zemljišne i folijarne primene herbicida u odnosu na samu folijarnu primenu.
