The influence of girdling on fruit properties of early season peach cultivars
Uticaj prstenovanja na osobine ploda ranih sorti breskve
Апстракт
The effects of two times of branch girdling on fruit properties of three early season peach cultivars: Goldcrest, Royal Gold and Maycrest were studied. The fruits from girdled branches matured three to four days earlier, had higher soluble solids and sugars content and lower acids content in both years. Fruit weight was increased only in the first year while it was decreased in the second year. Girdling at about 30 days after full-bloom gave better results than that during petal-fall.
Proučavani su efekti dva termina prstenovanja grana na osobine ploda tri rane sorte breskve: Goldcrest, Royal Gold i Maycrest. Plodovi sa prstenovanih grana sazrevali su ranije za tri do četiri dana, imali su viši sadržaj rastvorljive suve materije i šećera, a niži sadržaj kiselina u obe godine istraživanja. Masa ploda je bila povećana samo u prvoj godini, dok je u drugoj godini bila manja. Prstenovanje u terminu oko mesec dana posle punog cvetanja dalo je bolje rezultate nego ono izvedeno u precvetavanju.
