Fruit set and pomological properties of oblačinska sour cherry clones following self- and open-pollination
Stepen zametanja i pomološka svojstva klonova oblačinske višnje pri slobodnom oprašivanju i samooprašivanju
Apstrakt
Pollination and fertilization are necessary for the fruit set of sour cherry and other fruit species. Although Oblačinska sour cherry is a self-fertile cultivar, some results show that the fruit set is higher and fruit properties are better following open-pollination. The aim of this study was to investigate four Oblačinska sour cherry clones with different yielding potentials for the pollen germination, fruit set and fruit properties following self- and open-pollination. It was noticed that clones with a higher pollen germination had a higher fruit set. Results obtained by the analysis of variance showed that the fruit set, fruit harvested, fruit weight, fruit width, fruit stalk length and the soluble solid content were very significantly influenced by the mode of pollination. For the majority of investigated properties better results were obtained following open-pollination than by self-pollination.
Za zametanje plodova višnje, kao i kod ostalih vrsta voćaka, neophodno je oprašivanje i oplođenje. Iako je oblačinska višnja samooplodna sorta postoje podaci da se bolji rezultati u pogledu zametanja i razvoja ploda kod nje dobijaju prilikom stranooplođenja. Cilj ovog rada bio je da se kod četiri klona oblačinske višnje, različitog prinosa, utvrdi klijavost polena i odredi efekat slobodnog oprašivanja i samooprašivanja na stepen zametanja i svojstva ploda. Uočeno je da klonovi koji imaju veću klijavost polena imaju i veći stepen zametanja plodova. Rezultati analize varijanse su pokazali da je varijanta oprašivanja veoma značajno ili značajno uticala na broj zametnutih plodova, broj ubranih plodova, masu ploda, širinu ploda, dužinu peteljke ploda i sadržaj rastvorljivih suvih materija. Za većinu proučavanih svojstava može se uočiti da su bolji rezultati dobijeni u varijanti slobodnog oprašivanja nego u varijanti samooprašivanja.
