dc.description.abstract | As pathogen microorganisms can be found in different kinds of food, using of natural antimicrobial compounds, like ethereal oils, could be important in the preservation of different groceries. To evaluate antimicrobial activity of ethereal oils extracted from Lamiaceae family plants - Rosmarinus officinalis L., Thymus vulgaris L., Majorana hortensis M o e n c h, and Salvia officinalis L screening of their effects against food borne bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella enteritidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes and yeasts Candida albicans and Saccharomyces cerevisiae were applied. All investigated concentrations and pure Majorana hortensis and Thymus vulgaris ethereal oils showed microbicidal effect on majority of tested microorganisms. | en |
dc.description.abstract | Kako patogeni mikroorganizmi mogu da se nađu u različitim prehrambenim proizvodima, korišćenje prirodnih antimikrobnih komponenata, kao što su etarska ulja, može da bude važno za njihovo čuvanje. Za procenjivanje antimikrobne aktivnosti etarskih ulja ekstrakovanih iz biljaka familije Lamiaceae-Rosmarinus officinalis L., Thymus vulgaris L., Majorana hortensis M o e n c h. i Salvia officinalis L. posmatran je njihov uticaj na mikroorganizme kontaminente hrane, bakterije Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella enteritidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes i kvasce Candida albicans i Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Sve ispitivane koncentracije kao i čista etarska ulja Majorana hortensis i Thymus vulgaris pokazala su mikrobicidni efekat na većinu testiranih mikroorganizama. | sr |
